Blackness is always counterculture and nonblacks always use the aesthetics of Blackness to signify their rebellion from the cultural norm and it’s tiring.
The same way we cancel nonblack folks for being racist in the past, I think we should keep that energy up for black folks that were colorist in the past, especially towards black woman/girls.
