Air Jordan 4 Retro “Fire Red” Release
The journey I went on for a massive general release sneaker was INSANE.
I knew these were releasing Nov. 28th. Out of the two Air Jordan 1 released and these, these are the easiest sneakers to acquire. Funny enough, I had a hard time getting these. I don’t understand why, but I fell in love with these the minute I saw them. I knew this was a retro sneaker and I was never able to get them when I was younger so I said “hey, I’m grown so I can try to get them now”. Of course you all should know by now what I did, I entered a gazillion raffles and started texting my sneaker retailer friends. To my surprise my connections actually let me know that there were going to be pairs available at their stores... but it’s not that simple.
I had to enter their sneaker store raffles they couldn’t just hold me pairs so I knew this was going to be difficult so I contacted a credible reseller who I’m friends with personally. He charged me $250 to personally deliver the sneakers to my house same day as release day. The retail price for the sneakers are $200 and after tax, $217. I was so close to paying him instead but something told me to hold on.
1 day before release day, i get a notification from one of my favorite sneaker stores in Washington Heights and they stated that they are selling the sneaker on a first come, first serve basis. I was relieved to hear this but once again... it isn’t that simple.
First come first serve means I have to be at the store at least 2 hours before they open which means I have to be there at around 9AM on a savage morning. Do I want these sneakers that bad?
YES, yes I do.
Of course I get there at 9:50 instead and I am the 11th person on line waiting in the cold surrounded by other people on line smoking marijuana with no masks disregarding that there’s a pandemic and I was internally screaming. I was already on line so at 10AM I tried just for fun to try and purchase these sneakers on the SNKRS app knowing I’m going to lose. I select my size and I press purchase and it just says “pending” for almost 20 minutes and all of a sudden, the sneaker lords decided to give me a win on the SNKRS app!
NEVER have I won on SNKRS but that day was the day. (Must’ve been because I was following pandemic rules and wearing a mask). I really spent my Saturday morning on a line outside in the cold for some sneakers all to win on the app. It was a crazy day.

Air Jordan 1 High OG CO.JP “Midnight Navy” Release
Two weeks after I got my hands on the Mocha Air Jordan 1’s, I saw another pair of Air Jordan 1’s releasing. I knew the drill and I entered multiple raffles and I tried super hard to get them. I felt like the true stereotypical sneakerhead. I contacted multiple people that I knew personally that worked at footlocker to see if they can hold me a pair, i tracked how much the sneaker would resell for and compared it to the price to purchase if I decided to buy off of the GOAT app pre-release day and I decided to just take a crack at trying to get them on release day.
Everything to my surprise went horribly and I lost all raffles and no sneaker store workers wanted to hold me a pair and I woke up early to try and purchase of the notorious Nike “SNKRS” app and of course I lost like everyone you will ever neet will say has lost also and have never won. It is the most difficult app to buy limited release sneakers on so they make a big deal if one does ever win the chance to buy a limited release sneaker on the app.
After crying myself to sleep I woke up November 15th to a delayed raffle winning from the sneaker store Nohble. I was so happy and I woke up my girlfriend just to show her the message saying that I won! She said congratulations and knocked back out because it was 7. AM on a Sunday.
If I’m being honest these are my favorite sneakers that I’ve acquired this year. Before you ask, yes... more than the mochas.
1 week after the Midnight Navy release
To my surprise, a lot of people didn’t want their pairs and people re-sold them right away and made a quick $100 profit. And sadly I know why.
This is the highest quality Air Jordan 1 High released this year.
People want nothing to do with it because of the way it is constructed. Most fans love the fabric tongue and sewn on logo, no one wanted this high quality leather tongue with the embroidered Nike Air logo. I personally do not mind because the shoe is made of premium leather! Not synthetic leather like the rest of the Jordan 1’s. People love hype though so this sneaker became a flop. Instead of the shiny leather swoosh and shiny glass jordan wings becoming a hit, it was a complete flop because it is too different and the fans didn’t want that.
Me personally, these were my favorite sneakers to release this year!

Air Jordan 1 “Dark Mocha” Purchase
Somehow, some way, I got my hands on one of the most desired sneakers to release all year. I have never been one to try hard to get any sneakers but somehow I got this sneaker and it’s very exciting. For a sneaker to release with 300,000 pairs I never understood why it was so difficult! Little did I know people used a bunch of computer programming bots to buy the sneakers for themselves online to resell for profit. I honestly didn’t care about the sneaker I thought it was a nice sneaker so I entered a few raffles like usual and just forgot about it because I had never won any of them. On Oct. 30th, at 7 pm, I get an Instagram direct message from one of the sneaker stores notifying me that I won and I can go to the store the following morning to purchase my pair. I could not believe that me... the person who had never won any raffle or had any opportunities to get the sneaker they wanted was able to purchase one of the most hyped sneakers of 2020.
On halloween morning I went to get the sneakers at a sneaker store owned by rapper/ entrepreneur Fat Joe to buy my pair of sneakers and there were people outside trying to buy them without a raffle win and were denied because this was a raffle only sneaker purchase and it was honestly scary walking around Washington Heights with these sneakers that people were going crazy for but thankfully I made it home. It was an interesting two days and a lot of people are reselling their pairs for $370-410, I personally am going to keep my pair because not only do these now have sentimental value but they are also very nice!!!

Uniqlo has the best oversized tee for the fall!
I went to uniqlo for the first time because I have never been there so I was curious. I walked in searching for oversized tees because I was buying then from forever 21 and they were very inconsistent and poor quality. When I got into uniqlo, they had all kinds of different colors and they are high quality and heavyweight. When I saw the price I got even happier! They were only $14.90!!! High quality Oversized tees are usually $18-20 and designer ones are even more. I left with 4 different colors and they all fit great and even after a few washes they are still as good as new.
THERE IS ONLY ONE CON (if you even want to call it a con)
One of them shrank in the dryer SLIGHTLY and it actually made the shirt look nicer on me so I was lucky! Im going to hang dry them from now on because I’m assuming the rest of them will slightly shrink in the dryer also.
REVIEW: 8.5/10 (you’re getting what you paid for)
This is the ivory/cream colorway I wear an XL
Here is the tee by itself on the left but I personally wear them with a sweater or jacket with the tee hanging out like on the right.
