Freewriting,Exercise Application,pg.40-41 ;April 14,2018
Chosen general subject: The reasons why it is more fun in the Philippines (foreign tourists, local tourists, tourism officials)
Audience: All the people in the world
Purpose: To catch the attention of the other country to visit Philippines and to persuade other people to know how beautiful Philippines is.
Tone: Happy and Persuading tone
Point of view: It’s more fun in the Philippines because the people are honest and friendly. In general, they may be one of the poorest, but would give the shirt off their back to a complete stranger. That is true hospitality.
Second pre-writing strategy: I can say that It is more fun here in the Philippines all the people here As a tourist destination, the Philippines is loaded with the attractions travelers dream of ,lots of sun, gorgeous beaches, world-class scenery, adventure opportunities, friendly outgoing locals, fascinating history and lots of little-roamed territory. Yet for all its advantages, the nation of more than 7,000 islands has a big problem attracting travelers.

Starter (March 17, 2018)
The Hunger Games
Strengths:
Katniss has many strengths in the arena. One strength we all know of is her talent with a bow and arrow. Katniss can shoot anything, and when she kills something she always gets it in the eye so that the meat is not affected. One other strength is that she knows how to set snares and traps. She might not have the skill and balance of Gale, but she can still set them. One final strength is that Katniss is knowledgeable about plants. She knows which ones are safe and which are not. These things really pay off in the arena.
Weaknesses:
Katniss also has many strengths and weaknesses in the games. One of Katniss's weaknesses is that she is rash and doesn't follow orders. Haymitch would be the person who knows this the best. Another weakness is that Katniss doesn't always think things through. She does things without thinking of the pros and cons. One final weakness is family and friends. The capitol tries to use the people Katniss loves against her. These people are Gale, Prim, and her mother.

February 24,2018;Comparison and Contrast
In present paper I’m going to compare two works of art: “Romeo and Juliet” – tragedy written by William Shakespeare, and “Romeo + Juliet” – film adaptation of Shakespeare’s play by Baz Luhrmann (1996). I’ve enjoyed them both and have gotten my own perception of two interpretations of Shakespeare’s masterpiece that I’m going to present here.
“Romeo and Juliet” is probably the most well-known play of William Shakespeare. It’s an amazing tragic love story, full of action and inevitably arousing strong emotions in a reader. In addition to being a masterpiece of dramatic literature, it has become a classic love tragedy with Romeo and Juliet becoming archetypical young lovers. The actual story is believed to be borrowed by Shakespeare from Italian tale dating back to antiquity and consequently interpreted by a number of other authors. Shakespeare significantly developed the plot, making more focus on supportive characters.
The story tells about the tragic love of two youngsters coming from two feuding clans. The young people go through every kind of trial on the way to reunification and in the pursuit of common happiness. Supported by Juliet’s Nurse and Friar Lawrence, Romeo’s spiritual director, they arrange wedding ceremony, and even manage to spend a night together as a married couple. Eventually, they get separated again: Romeo is banished from Verona for the murder of Tybalt on whom he has taken revenge for the assassination of Mercutio, Romeo’s best friend.  While Juliet is being forced to become Paris’ fiancée by the will of her parents, and Romeo is lying in hiding in Mantua, Friar Lawrence arranges a plan of Juliet’s escape from Verona by drinking a liquor that will put her into the state similar to death. Yet Romeo, being misled by tragic news of Juliet’s death does not wait till finding the truth out, he mourns her death so desperately that eventually poisons himself at Juliet’s tomb, previously killing her unwanted suitor Paris.
Consequently, when Juliet wakes up from sleep after being unconscious for about 42 hours, she discovers dead Romeo by her side, and stabs herself with the help of Romeo’s dagger in despair. All three dead bodies are discovered then by both Juliet’s and Romeo’s relatives and the Prince, and as a result, Capulet and Montague make peace and pledge to never fight again.
It is hard to say what version of the story I like more. I prefer the play from the aesthetic point of view, – I love the language and the image of ancient Italy, Verona in particular, that serves as a background for tragic events. Yet I prefer the film from the romantic point of view, since I believe the actors look amazingly realistic demonstrating the emotions that Shakespeare laid as the foundation of his narrative.
The movie version of Romeo and Juliet story follows both the plot and the text of the play. That is what really great about the film for it doesn’t conform to the overall tendency to distort and ad details to the original version of the work of literature being adapted for the screen.
The movie is amazing, but not necessarily in a positive way. The action takes place in modern US town Verona-Beach. Two families of the nobility are turned into Mafia clans, swords being turned into guns. Representatives of hostile clans now look more like skinheads, hooligans and Italian Mafioso, obviously abusing drugs and alcohol.  However, they still speak like Shakespeare’s characters do, saying rhymed lines and elevated phrases with the most natural expression possible in the provided context. The shocking contrast between sophisticated language and the appearance of bandits that the speakers have somehow makes the movie unbelievably gripping. The fact is I has been extremely curious through the whole of the film how would they perform that or this scene, because the interpretation proposed in movie is really unusual.  I also loved the actors’ performance. I believe they personified the characters in the most successful way possible. They looked natural which is truly important, and intrigued me with the power of feelings that seemed surprisingly sincere.

February 24, 2018; Classificaiton
Convenience Goods
Those products your customers buy often and without much thought or planning are classified as convenience goods. Soap, condiments and toothpaste are common examples of convenience goods. Consumers typically make a choice once on their brand preference for these products and repeat that choice over many purchases. Making your convenience goods available for impulse or emergency purchases can be particularly effective. You’ll see this marketing tactic in the placement of candy near the cash register of your grocery store for impulse buys. Another version is to place umbrellas, boots or snow shovels near a store exit when sudden weather changes call for them.
Shopping Goods
Buying decisions are detailed considerations of price, quality and value for products classified as shopping goods. Think about the amount of time you put into picking out a clothing purchase, a car or appliances. Successful marketing of your shopping goods can come from positioning as a better buy than your competitors -- for example, presenting better value with higher quality for the price or vice versa. Products in the shopping goods classification tend to rely on heavy advertising and even trained salespeople to influence consumer choices.
Specialty Products
Goods in the specialty products classification tend to promote very strong brand identities, often resulting in strong brand loyalty among consumers. Examples include stereos, computers, cameras and the most high-end brands of cars and clothing. While used cars are classified as shopping goods, a brand-new Mercedes is classified as a specialty good. Buyers for your specialty goods generally spend more time seeking the product they want than on comparing brands or products to make a value decision. Your marketing of specialty goods can be successful by promoting what you have on hand and where your costumers can find it.
Unsought Goods
The products classified as unsought goods are those that your consumers don’t put much thought into and generally don’t have compelling impulse to buy. Examples include batteries or life insurance. Your consumers essentially buy unsought goods when they have to, almost as an inconvenience rather than the newest, latest, greatest product they can’t wait to purchase. Marketing your unsought goods will likely be most effective with lots of advertising and salespeople promoting the idea of unresolved need for your unsought products.

Descriptive Paragraph; February 17,2018 ( A Friendly Clown )
On one corner of my dresser sits a smiling toy clown on a tiny unicycle–a gift I received last Christmas from a close friend. The clown’s short yellow hair, made of yarn, covers its ears but is parted above the eyes. The blue eyes are outlined in black with thin, dark lashes flowing from the brows. It has cherry-red cheeks, nose, and lips, and its broad grin disappears into the wide, white ruffle around its neck. The clown wears a fluffy, two-tone nylon costume. The left side of the outfit is light blue, and the right side is red. The two colors merge in a dark line that runs down the center of the small outfit. Surrounding its ankles and disguising its long black shoes are big pink bows. The white spokes on the wheels of the unicycle gather in the center and expand to the black tire so that the wheel somewhat resembles the inner half of a grapefruit. The clown and unicycle together stand about a foot high. As a cherished gift from my good friend Tran, this colorful figure greets me with a smile every time I enter my room. https://myreadwritebooster.wordpress.com/writing-3/2-paragraph-writing/3-descriptive-paragraphs/

Let's talk about stressed Stress is better than Depressed, Depression can kill you. Stress is compose of overthinking of a person. Stress. We all deal with it. Whether it arises from our jobs, family life, drama with friends, a relationship problem, or finances, stress is there. While a little stress is good for you, allowing you to grow physically and mentally, excessive and chronic stress is harmful. Prolonged stress can even lead to tension headaches and other health problems that limit your functioning at work, at school and in your relationships.Rather than letting your stress take over your life, try some methods of stress management that you can apply to prevent and deal with stress before it ruin your health. Here are some ways to relieve stress 1. Identify the source of stress in your life. Stress management starts with identifying the sources of stress in your life. This isn’t as straightforward as it sounds. While it’s easy to identify major stressors such as changing your life style, moving, or a going through a lowering of your grades, pinpointing the sources of chronic stress can be more complicated. It’s all too easy to overlook how your own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors contribute to your everyday stress levels. 2. Practice the 4 A's of stress management. •Avoid unnecessary stress; It’s not healthy to avoid a stressful situation that needs to be addressed, but you may be surprised by the number of stressors in your life that you can eliminate. • Alter the situation If you can't avoid a stressful situation, try to alter it. Often, this involves changing the way you communicate and operate in your daily life. • Adapt to the stressor If you can't change the stressor, change yourself. You can adapt to stressful situations and regain your sense of control by changing your expectations and attitude. • Accept the things you can't change Some sources of stress are unavoidable. You can’t prevent or change stressors such as the death of a loved one, a serious illness, or a national recession. In such cases, the best way to cope with stress is to accept things as they are. Acceptance may be difficult, but in the long run, it’s easier than railing against a situation you can’t change. And now here is the last thing that you need to do. 3. Get Moving/Move on When you’re stressed, the last thing you probably feel like doing is getting up and exercising. But physical activity is a huge stress reliever—and you don’t have to be an athlete or spend hours in a gym to experience the benefits. Exercise releases endorphins that make you feel good, and it can also serve as a valuable distraction from your daily worries. You can't always control what goes on outside, but you can always control what goes on inside. So if you are stress, Just do the following stress reliever
