aw, you're far too sweet. it's always incredible to hear how our work resonates with people. i don't keep an actual tally, but knowing that villanelle has touched so many lives is incredibly humbling. and the chemistry sandra and i share on screen is definitely something special—i'm glad it translates so powerfully to the audience. sounding like a total dork? i don't think you do. but in that casa, you're in good company because i'm a bit of a dork myself. wait, fucking fourth rewatch? i love your obsession with villanelle. i will say it's with villanelle so i feel special and important. it's been a very long time, uh? what's been going on in your life?

do you keep a tally of how many lives you've changed with villanelle? if you do, i'd like to humbly be added onto that list. i'm sure it's more people than you could even count, but i hope my name can fit at the top of it. you and sandra have that type of chemistry that surges through the screen, it's electric. i bring this up because i've started my fourth rewatch of the show, and it's been entirely too long since we've seen each other and i wanted to sound like a total dork. kinda the trifecta, y'know? @jodiehqs

no way, sounds like nick had a bit too much fun. those are the kind of memories that make celebrations memorable, though. and yeah, being a fan of the work you bring to life must add a whole new level of enjoyment to the process. it's like you're living out your own excitement for the story through your work. oh, sorry for being unclear, i meant your experience working with nick, like your journey collaborating with him on the film. but if there's a story there, spill the tea. i feel like you want to tell me something.

It really was, even when Nick got too wasted and ended up sleeping on the couch. He refused to get to bed or be carried then complained in the morning. It does, I think it's good to be a fan of the work you bring to life and this was a win win for me. I definitely will, it's always been on my list and you definitely sold me on it. Not that it was too hard to. I've always wanted to experience the cherry blossoms. My story with him? What do you mean?

that sounds like such a blast! celebrating with drinks after the win must have been so much fun, especially with your sister and nick. it's awesome that you're such a big fan of the book too – makes it all the more special to be involved in bringing it to life. and yeah, japan was absolutely incredible. you'll have to plan a trip there sometime for sure. the food alone is worth it, not to mention experiencing the cherry blossoms – it's like stepping into a fairytale. it's great to hear that you've been enjoying working with nick. having an amazing cast can really make all the difference. what's your story with him?

It is and I'm so glad we managed one of our two Glaad wins. Right!? Me, my sister Maria and Nick all celebrated with drinks that night. It was a good time. It is, I love the book so much, I'm a fan myself. The fans are so excited they're wanting to know what's next, the guy's futures and who proposed to who - or who first. That sounds really cool, seriously love the sound of that. I'll have to hit up Japan myself, I hear the food and the cherry blossoms are amazing. So consider me a bit jealous here. Um - I'll rock my cliche and say working with Nick and getting to know him. He's truly amazing.

that's awesome! i loved 'red, white & royal blue,' and seeing it win a glaad award was such a great moment. the announcement of a second film is just the cherry on top. it's so cool that you're involved in it all – i bet the fans are thrilled. one of my highlights this year was finally taking that trip to japan i've been dreaming about. exploring tokyo, visiting the temples in kyoto, and eating so much delicious sushi was incredible. plus, i managed to catch the cherry blossoms in full bloom, which was just magical. what's been the best part of working on the film for you?

Right now I'm still not over 'Red, White & Royal Blue' winning a Glaad Award for queer fan favorite and the announcement of a second film.
