“Y/N! You promised you would come and play with us! We want attention too.” The Maknae line stated blocking the show Yoongi and you were trying to watch. “As much as I love you guys, I promised that 5 minutes ago, and I said I will after our show is over.” Three pouty lips appeared. You heard Yoongi sigh behind you while he reached for the remote. “Babe you better go, they will not let this go anytime soon. We will continue our show later and I will go and work a bit in the meantime.” Yoongi said standing up, kissing your forehead before walking away. “You are weak Yoongi, born to be a tiger but rolling over like a dog!” You tried to tease your boyfriend as you saw him walking away. “Love you too Babe, go kick their asses.” He said before turning around the corner.

Music Tutor (Min Yoongi Imagine)
Word Count: 4240 words.
Min Yoongi & Female!Reader
College AU.
Summary: You’re struggling with chords for a self written song you plan to perform for your father... Min Yoongi is known as the musical genius within the college, when he offers to be your music tutor there’s no way you could’ve imagined it ending the way it does.
You were sat in the music room of your college building, your small fingers delicately plucking the strings of an old, worn, red guitar. It was one that’d been passed down from your grandfather, the last gift he’d given you before his untimely death.
Your father wasn’t keen on you pursuing music, however. He said that it was a hobby not a suited career option for someone like you, he claimed you were much too intelligent to be wasting your talents on music. He’d always told you that he’d let you continue this ‘hobby’ until your guitar became fully useless, but after that you would be enrolled into a law school where you would be studying to become a lawyer, like him. That wasn’t your dream, not at all but he was your father and you needed to follow his rules.
However, this one last chord wasn’t going right at all. It was for a song you’d written yourself but you still had one last chord to figure out. Wondering what to do, not knowing what to do. Trying all the chords you could think of but it didn’t go into the song at all, it just wouldn’t fit with the beat. You sighed frustratedly before lifting your hand and running your fingers through your hair in frustration... Suddenly, you heard a chuckle. One you’d never expected to hear, you thought you were alone in here. It was well after class hours now.
You lifted your head and was met with the eyes of music major, Min Yoongi. He was a genius in the field of music, which meant he was probably laughing at your tune or your song... Or just you and your flustered self. “Can I help you?” You finally questioned. He cocked an eyebrow at you, “No, I just came in here to pick up my chord book.” He replied. He shrugged as he grabbed the music book off of the piano stand, he headed towards the door before placing his hand on the handle as your gaze shifted back to your handwritten lyrics on the table in front of you. “Try G, E, D, G and A for that first line... In that order.” He called over his shoulder before leaving the room. You watched as the door swung shut before glancing back down at your fingers, you quickly set them back on the neck of your guitar and tried out the chords that Yoongi had suggested, they fit perfectly with the rhythm you were going for. You smiled lightly to yourself, “Thanks Min Yoongi.” You whispered slightly before realising the time. You had to meet your father for dinner and if you didn’t leave now then you would be late. You hastily placed your guitar back into its case before throwing it onto your back and grabbing your notebook and phone before sprinting out of the music room and back to your dorm to put your belongings away.
You then left the college building and clambered onto your bike where you began cycling across town to a posh cafe, you locked up your bike before wondering into the 5 star cafe. This wasn’t your scene at all, the cafe was full of businessmen in suits, holding briefcases that looked filled to the brim with important paperwork. You shook off your thoughts as you headed towards the usual booth you shared with your father. You politely and quietly took your seat across from him, “You’re late, y/n.” He told you in a serious tone. “Sorry father.” You mumbled. He nods his head in a sophisticated manner, letting you know wordlessly that you were forgiven.
You drink your mug of hot cocoa that he’d ordered as you talk about your days, “So... How was work?” You asked casually. “It was good, had some great cases handed to me.” He spoke with authority. “That’s great, father.” You nodded. “How are your studies coming along?” He questioned you. “They’re... Um... They’re going good.” You nodded before taking a sip of your cocoa as your food was brought over. Your father had ordered you both a steak complete with salad, garnish and fries. You wanted to turn your nose up at it, this wasn’t what you liked. You couldn’t stand it when he splashed the cash but you had nowhere else to go and had to deal with it, you hesitantly reached for your knife and fork before beginning to cut into the slightly overdone steak before taking a bite. Happy to have avoided an unwanted conversation about your classes but unhappy to be sitting with your father in an expensive cafe and eating an even more expensive steak.
You adored your father, he’d been there for you throughout most of your life. He’d payed for your college tuitions, he’d gotten you your first car, he’d payed for music classes at age six despite him not agreeing to them, he’d raised you alone. Your mother wasn’t around anymore, all you knew of her was that she was beautiful and her name was Stacey, she passed away from heart complications after giving birth to you. You were sure it was your fault, but your father reminded everyday that it wasn’t... And that you were the spitting image of her. That’s what kept you going all these years, he’s what kept you going all these years.
You shook off your thoughts as you finished the steak, you clean your plate before taking down the final gulp of your hot cocoa. You eyes landing on the face of your father who had also devoured his own food and was smiling back at you. “Thank you for these weekly meals, papa.” You smiled at him. “Anything for my daughter.” He replied as he lightly squeezed your hand across the table. You smiled appreciatively at him before watching as he rose to his feet to pay the bill. You stayed sat at the booth, your eyes finding their way to the window to your right, you glanced out; Watching people hurry their way home, out of the now pouring rain. Some were holding umbrellas, others were trying to shield themselves with newspapers. You chuckled to yourself slightly before noticing one boy, he had blonde hair and was wearing a pair of black, square rimmed glasses over his face... It was the same boy that’d interrupted you in the music room; Mr Min Yoongi.
A smile crept its way onto your lips as you watched his hurriedly trying to keep his piano book dry, shielding it under his coat and pulling his hood up. The fur from the hood flopped slightly over his forehead, covering his eyes the smallest part. You had to admit, the music genius was pretty cute but you’d never noticed it before.
You shook off your thoughts as your father approached your table once again, “I have to leave now, Y/n. You’ll be okay getting back to the college dorms, won’t you?” He asked you. You nod your head with a smile, he returns your smile before hugging you. “I’ll see you in a week.” He said. “I love you.” He added. “I love you too, papa.” You smile. He kissed your forehead before leaving the cafe, you let out a small sigh before beginning to pull on your jacket. You pulled the leather hood over your head before following your fathers actions and leaving. You head back over to your bike to unlock it before climbing on and speeding away down the rainy streets and back to the college dorms.

A week later you’re back in the music room. Your eyes glossing over your lyrics once again, a sigh of frustration leaving your lips. “Need help?” You hear from the doorway. You lift your head, eyes rising to meet with a pair of beautiful brown ones. “You want to help me?” You question. He nods his head, Min Yoongi, music genius actually wants to help you figure something out, “I see you in here everyday of the week, trying and getting frustrated with whatever you’re trying to figure out. You need the help.” He told you before flashing you a small smile. “I... Thank you. Honestly, the chords you gave me last week work wonders but now I’m having to rework the whole song and I just can’t get it right.” You sigh. Giving in and telling him where you’re struggling.
“I can be your tutor, if you’d like? We can have scheduled lessons, things like that.” He suggested slowly. “If you really are struggling as much as you say.” He added after a moment of thought. “You’d do that?” You asked. A small nod and a gummy smile later and you agree, you could use all the help you could get. This was the song you were planning to perform at the school talent show, one that you’d managed to convince your father to attend, you needed him to know how much music meant to you and the only way to show him was to perform for him. You just hoped it’d work.
Yoongi’s eyes stared down at your notebook where you’d written your lyrics, “May I?” He asked as he gestured towards it. “Sure.” You nod. He grabs the notebook from the table and begins reading through the lyrics, “Woah! These are really good.” He said in shock. “Thank you.” You smiled. “So music means a lot to you?” He asked. “Everything. It means everything to me. My mother loved piano, my grandpa was a guitarist, my grandmother was a violinist... I’m the last of us, the musical stuff in my family ends with me.” You sigh. The love for music was always from your mothers side of the family, your fathers side was never that much into it, “What about your father?” Yoongi asks. “He’s a great man. He really is... But he doesn’t understand. He doesn’t agree with it. He thinks that my mind... My, my intelligence should be used in a different field of study, preferably to him... Law.” You sigh. “You’re intelligent, I’ve seen you in our law lectures...” Yoongi chuckles. “But your passion for music is led by the heart, that’s something nobody can take away from you.” He told me. “I just wish my father would see it like that. I’m hoping the talent show will make him see but, I’m honestly not sure. He calls it a hobby and after this year at college, he says he’s done with me fooling around with the arts and wants me to get a proper career so he’s putting me in law school next year.” You sigh before running your hands over your face frustratedly. You hated the thought of having to go to law school.
Yoongi patted your back sympathetically, “Sometimes parents just don’t understand.” He told you. You cocked an eyebrow before nodding, “Yeah, I know.” You sighed. The room fell silent but it was comfortable. It was nice. “Sing it.” Yoongi suddenly said, breaking the silence. “Sorry, what?” You asked. “Your song, sing it.” He repeated. “I can’t sing it without a tune.” You replied. “You have what you want it to sound like, you just can’t get the chords right, sing it. That way I can help with the chords better, that way I know what tone you’re going for.” He explained. That.... Actually made a lot of sense. You slowly began singing, closing your eyes whilst you did. Yoongi stares at you, he was in awe of your voice... Not that you noticed, your eyes were still closed.
Once you were finished your eyes fluttered open to see him smiling at you. He then began throwing out chords that you’d never thought of trying before.
You were pulled away from your lesson when your phone buzzed against the hard wooden table, you glanced down at the screen to see a text from your father, he’d had to cancel dinner tonight due to work stuff. You rolled your eyes before typing out a message to say that it was fine before sighing and glancing around. Going straight back to your chords as Yoongi stared at you, wondering what was wrong.
He received his answer shortly after as your stomach grumbled loudly causing your hand to move and cover it, trying to drown out the sound by covering it over. “You’re hungry.” Yoongi stated. “I’m okay.” You tried to deflect but your stomach gave you away by grumbling again. You sighed, “I was supposed to meet my dad for dinner tonight but he’s cancelled on me.” You shrug. “Let’s go and eat, I know a great place in town. I’ll drive.” Yoongi smiled at you. “Are you sure?” You questioned. He nodded his head as he helped you gather up your things, “I never got your name.” He said as he handed you your notebook and pen. “It’s y/n.” You smiled. “Min Yoongi, nice to meet you y/n.” He smiled in return as he shook your hand. You giggled slightly before putting your guitar case on your back and leaving the music room with him.
You quickly walked into your dorm to put your belongings away before walking back out as he led you to his car, parked by the main entrance of the college. You both climbed into his black SUV before he turned the key; bringing the engine to life and driving off down the street.
You soon made it to a small place called “Korean Street Food.” You glanced up at the cafe name with a smile, you’d always been quite a fan of Kimchi. Ever since you were a young girl. You followed the blonde boy into the cafe and towards a table, he sat across from you as you both scanned the menu before placing your orders.
“So y/n, what made you want to be a musician?” He questioned as you waited for your food. This was nowhere near as awkward as dinner with your father, the question just rolled off of his tongue and didn’t seem forced at all. “My grandparents. They’d tell me all these stories about my mum, about how she was the greatest pianist they’d ever seen, about how she won awards at school, how she even saw herself being on the stage and wowing crowds. She never got to live her dream, she probably would have but she couldn’t. My grandparents showed me videos, she really was great. And then I realised that my grandfather was an amazing guitarist so I asked my father if I could have guitar lessons when I was six, he was hesitant but agreed. My grandfather passed away last year but he gave me his guitar beforehand, he was my hero.” You explain. “How about you?” You ask him. “First of all, I’m so sorry about your mother. That can’t have been easy for you. I’m happy that she managed to influence your dreams even when she’s not her physically. And me? I became interested in rap after hearing this one song called Reggae Muffin by Stony Skunk, it was unlike any song I’d ever heard before. At age thirteen, that was when I began writing my own lyrics. It was a great way to express my emotions, whenever I felt something that felt way to heavy to have in my head, I’d put it into my lyrics and it’d help me. My family have always supported my dreams. It hasn’t been easy but it has been worth it.” He smiled. You smiled at his story before realising that your food was on it’s way over. It was placed in front of you both, the waitress bowed a little before scurrying away from you both as you both dug in, hungrily.
“What made you want to tutor me?” You finally questioned causing Yoongi to almost choke on his food. “I... Uh...” He paused before regaining himself. “I saw how frustrated you were getting with yourself on the day to day basis. I’d pass the music room on the way to you dorm after classes and I couldn’t help but stand on the other side of the door and watch through the glass. Watching you almost tear your hair out everyday, I couldn’t continue that. I felt sorry for you, I knew you needed help so I decided to offer my services in hopes that with a calmer mind... And with two minds being better than one, we may be able to figure something out to end your endless frustrations.” He smiled at you. You smiled at his response before nodding, “Well... Thank you.” You smile as you continue to devour your kimchi.

As the weeks progressed, your song really began coming along. You and Yoongi were now spending a lot of time with one another, not just for tutoring but as friends too. You’d spend time in his little makeshift studio as he’d spend time at your dorm, reading through lyrics you’d written in previous years, he’d gush about how much you’d improved and you wouldn’t be able to help but blush, hoping that maybe the darkness would hide your red tinted cheeks.
The talent show drew nearer with each passing week... Until it finally arrived. You were freaking out backstage, not knowing what to do. Blowing up Yoongi’s phone with text after text, you knew he was in the crowd but you were so nervous.
That was when you felt a pair of hands on your shoulders, “shh... You’re gonna be okay. Calm down.” A familiar voice spoke. You glanced back at him, his familiar blonde hair making its way into your sight, “Yoongi, I can’t do this. I can’t do it. I’m so nervous, I feel like I’m about to...” Your words were cut off as his plump lips were softly pressed against yours. You closed your eyes, slowly melting into the kiss, your hands cupping his cheeks as he held your waist. You slowly moved your hands around his shoulders and tangled your fingers in the hair at the nape of his neck.
You both soon pulled away for air, “Listen to me...” He began, still holding your waist. His eyes were staring straight into yours. “You’re gonna be okay. I believe in you. And when you’re finished, and when we’re done here, I’m gonna take you out on an official date to celebrate, how about that?” He asked you. As you stared into his twinkling brown eyes, you realised that all your worries had washed away. You simply nodded your head at his words, knowing that if you spoke, you’d freak. “Is my dad out there?” You finally questioned. Yoongi nodded, you let out a small sigh, were you really about to perform a song in hopes that your father would realise how this wasn’t just a hobby to you? Yes, yes you were.
Your name was soon called from the stage, Yoongi gave you one last peck on the lips before letting his arms drop. You took one last look in his eyes before picking your guitar up and heading out on to the stage and towards the stool and microphone that sat on the centre. You glanced out towards the crowd, your eyes immediately landing on your father who watched you with intent.
You sucked in a deep breath before sitting down and adjusting the microphone height, you then opened your mouth, “Hello, my name is y/n. I’m performing a self written song tonight in hopes that it’ll make someone very close to me realise just how important music is to me and to my life....” You said. “Dear father, this one’s for you.” You added before taking another deep breath and strumming the first chord, you then began singing. Closing your eyes as you did, letting the words flow right out of you. It was in these moments that you felt most alive... And you were really hoping that it’d make your father realise the importance of your music.
You soon finished the song, the final chord echoing around the auditorium before an array of applause and whistles were heard. You glanced down at the crowd one last time, not daring to look at your father just yet. Your eyes fell on Yoongi who smiled his gummy smile at you, “Thank you.” You spoke into the microphone before walking backstage where you packed your guitar away and waited for the show to be over as you watched act after act go on stage.
Soon enough, it finished. Some three piece band had won the trophy but you didn’t care for that anyways, that wasn’t why you entered. You shook off your thoughts as you walked down off the stage and finally approached your father, Yoongi joining you. “Dad, this is Min Yoongi... My—“ You were about to introduce him but he shook your fathers hand eagerly. “Her boyfriend.” He cut you off before sending a wink your way. Your eyes darted to meet your fathers, he was shocked but he looked... Happy? Wait, happy? You thought he’d be angry, so mad. “I see, nice to meet you young man.” Your father smiled at the blonde boy before turning to you.
‘Oh god, here it comes.’ You thought to yourself. “Y/N, I am so proud of you. Despite my efforts, despite my ranting and raving you still continued with your music. I wasn’t happy at first but I am so glad you continued, your mother would be so proud. When you were up there, on that stage, you reminded me so much of her. She loved performing, you inherited her love for music, that’s for sure.” He explained to you before pulling you in for a tight hug. “Continue with your music, y/n. I’m so proud of you. And it’s what your mother would want.” He smiled down at you. “What about law school?” You questioned in confusion. “Forget law school, I’m going to enrol you into a music academy.” He beamed. You shared a shocked glance with Yoongi who simply smiled at you before you threw yourself into your fathers arms and hugged him tight, “Thank you so much! I love you!” You squealed. Your father chuckled, something you hadn’t heard him do in years, “I love you too, sweetheart.” He replied as you both pulled away from the embrace.
“Mr y/l/n, would it be okay for me to take y/n on a date tonight? In celebration of her performance, of course.” Yoongi asked. “Of course, my boy! Just have her back at her dorm at a reasonable hour.” Your father agreed with a smile. “Of course, sir.” Yoongi nodded with a smile. “I have to go, work calls. But I’m so proud of you, y/n. So so proud.” Your father said with a smile before embracing you one last time. He then left, you watched him go with a smile before turning to Yoongi. “Well, that went well.” Yoongi smiled as you ran into his arms and hugged him tight. “Thank you so much for all your help! I would’ve never gotten this far without you.” You told him as you rested your face in the crook of his neck. He smiled as he caressed your back, “I was happy to help. Couldn’t have a pretty girl like you struggling constantly, could I?” He said and you swore you could hear the smirk in his voice but you elected to ignore it as you took his hand and began dragging him out of the auditorium.
He then led you to his car, opening the passenger door for you as you climbed in. He then got into the drivers seat before turning the key and driving away from the college building.
He parked somewhere near a beach, you could tell because it was suddenly colder and you could hear the waves, you glanced around at your surroundings as your passenger door opened and Yoongi held out his hand, you took it and he pulled you out of the car before leaning back against it. You were on a cliff edge, you frowned but Yoongi took your hand and led you around towards the front of the car, he lifted your body and sat you on the bonnet before grabbing something from the trunk, he walked over to where you were sat; Taking a seat on the bonnet beside you as he placed what looked like a picnic basket between the two of you, he then leant back against the window and pulled you to lay in his arms as he opened the basket to reveal chocolate covered strawberries. You smiled slightly as you stargazed and fed each other the strawberries. It wasn’t much but it was all you needed to know that he liked you and was serious about you, it was all you needed to know that he cared. “So, y/n... I never officially asked you backstage...” He began. “I know.” You nod. “So would you like to make this official? Would you like to be the girlfriend of musical genius Min Yoongi?” He asked you. You giggled at the use of his nickname, “I would be honoured.” You smiled at him. He returned the smile before leaning down and gently pressing his lips against yours, showing you he was yours. You, of course, kissed back.
Who’d have known that him offering to be your music tutor could lead to something this good?

OT7 & Female!Reader
JIN
It had been a long day for you, you were running up and down flights of stairs all day as you dragged your luggage into your new apartment that you had recently asked your long term boyfriend, Seokjin to move in to with you. But you'd noticed he'd been acting differently recently, more distant that usual...You were used to his long hours in the studio or for his practices but this was different, this wasn't like Jin at all. When he comes home he barely says a passing word to you nowadays, he's silent. He eats food, grabs a bottle of water before he's up the stairs and in bed leaving you to wash up and by the time you go to join him in bed, he has his back turned to your side of the bed and is already asleep.
Today you decided enough was enough, for the past week you've been thinking all the possible things that you could've done wrong for him to push you away. Did you forget to laugh at one of his dad jokes? Did you accidentally get too close to Jungkook that time you hugged him last week because he was upset that his vocals weren't good enough? Did you forget to appreciate one of his homes cooked meals? Did you take the banter and laughter with the boys too far for his liking?
The what ifs and all the questioning finally got to you, you were tired of questioning if it was your fault so you decided one one more possibly outcome that it could me, maybe he just didn't love you anymore? You tired pushing that thought out of your brain but it only came back, and the more you thought about it, the more that one seemed to make more sense than the others.
Jin soon arrived back home from practice, a little earlier than usual tonight meaning you hadn't yet had time to cook due to all the thinking. Your eyes darted to the front door as it was pushed open, "I didn't think you'd be back for a while. I haven't even cooked dinner yet." You said with a half-hearted smile. "Practice finished earlier today so I decided to come home early, it's okay y/n I'll cook tonight." He smiled cheerily before dropping his duffel bag by the door and heading into the kitchen. You watched him go before leaning your head back on the back of the sofa and letting out a quiet sigh, how would you bring this up to him? That's something you still hadn't figured out but you needed to say something tonight or you never would.
You soon heard Jin calling your name from the kitchen, "Y/N?!" He called. You were still zoned out, trying to think of ways you could bring this up to him. "Jagi!" He called again. You knew he was calling, you could hear his words but you couldn't react. "JAGIYAAAA!" He screamed this time, making you jump and pulling you from your thoughts. "Yeah?" You shouted through to him. "Food is ready." He replied and you could hear the happiness in his voice.
You rose to your feet and headed into the kitchen, there you saw a neatly laid out table with freshly cooked Kimchi being served by your very own waiter. He poured you a glass of wine before sitting across from you as you took your seat, "Enjoy." He smiled at you before digging into his own food hungrily. You watched him eat, your eyes scanning his... You weren't hungry, well... You were but you needed to know the truth before you even thought about food and you were beginning to feel a nervous kinda of nausea build up in the pit of your stomach as you thought about how to word your question.
Jin soon shifted in his seat, his eyes watching you as you studied him eating. "Y/n, what's wrong?" He asked. The lump in your throat grew bigger, you promised yourself you wouldn't cry but you couldn't help it, you swallowed back the oncoming tears and tried to gulp down the lump before opening your mouth. Your words coming out frantic and worried, not as you had planned, six words, six words that made Jin drop the fork full of food he was holding and stare over at you in shock. "Do you still love me, Jin?" Is what you asked.
You feared the answer and you wanted to avert your gaze from his shocked expression but you couldn't, you needed to see the look on his face as he told you no, you truly believed that's what his answer would be... Until his mouth finally opened, taking a long sip of wine before he rose to his feet and walked around the table, heading straight to you.
"Why would you ask such a thing, Jagi?" He asked as he crouched down in front of your seat as if you were an upset child. At this unexpected response you couldn't stop the tears from falling, "I just... I don't know. You've been so distant with me lately. Late nights practising, early morning leaving, long studio sessions... I know you're busy and I know this is your job but it was never like this Jin, you used to always make time for us. You barely say two words to me when you do come home and when you do reply to my questions, all I get in response are grunts. I get you're tired but I wanna communicate with you, Jinnie. I wanna know about your day despite how bad it is. I just...." You were suddenly at a loss for words. "I just want my boyfriend back." You cried hysterically.
"Y/N, I love you. I love you so much. And you're right, I have been spending a lot of time away, I'm sorry. We just need to rehearse a lot more because of the tour that's coming up, but I will make more time for you, more time for us." He explained to you as he kissed away your falling tears. His eyes soon lit up, "How about we go on a date... Tomorrow?" He asked. "And I would love it if you'd come to rehearsals with me." He smiled his big goofy Jin smile at you. You couldn't help but giggle, "I would love that, Jin." You smiled before pressing a light peck to his lips.
His eyes fluttered close for a millisecond until you pulled away only to see his pouting, he leaned up and pressed his lips against yours before hugging you tightly. "I will never stop loving you." He whispered to you as he held you. "I'm glad to hear that." You smiled. "Shall we go back to enjoying our meals?" He asked with a small smile. "Yes." You nodded with a smile. He rose to his feet and sat back in his seat, you watched him go just glad that you now knew that he wasn't going anywhere.
YOONGI
When you and Yoongi started dating, you never thought that two years later you'd barely see him, let alone get a look in to have a small lunch with him. Every time you suggest it, he tells you he is busy. When you suggest a film and cuddles on the couch after his hard day at the studio and your long day at the office, its always a half-assed reply and he always falls asleep two minutes into the movie as if he wasn't interested in it in the first place.
You didn't know what was going on but you wanted to find out. No, you NEEDED to find out. It all started a month ago, the tour was happening soon and you knew it, but you thought he'd still try and spend a bit of time with you. Even you going to the studio to surprise him seemed to annoy him, he'd tell you that you shouldn't have gone there and that he was working, you'd tell him that you were just trying to do something nice but he wouldn't seem to care. He'd just usher you out before getting back to work.
There was once a time when he'd take you to his studio himself, he'd graciously show you off, let everyone know you were his. He'd hold you in his arms, kiss you no matter who was around, nuzzle his face into your neck as you sat in his lap during studio sessions, wouldn't get mad when you'd distract him from his work because of the simple fact he'd been working so long.
But now, now it was like he'd disappeared. He pushed you aside. On the off occasion you did show up to the studio and he let you stay, he'd get mad if you so much as made a simple squeak, he'd get stressed if you tried to distract him. It got to a point where you just stopped hoping for your old Yoongi to return. Instead of taking his lunch to his studio, you would pack it the night before and leave it in the fridge for him to take with him when he left in the morning, leaving a note on the fridge before bed each night that his lunch was inside.
About two weeks ago, it got to the point where you'd started going to bed before he even waltzed in through the door, sometimes he'd even sleep at the studio and wouldn't return unless one of the other members pried him away from his beloved desk.
You decided that you wanted answers, your heart was aching for you to be held in your boyfriends arms once again. You needed him.
On a quiet day at the office, you finally had time to think over the last month. Blaming yourself for his sudden distancing, you knew the tour was a big deal to him and the others but even they went home at a reasonable hour, even they didn't overdo it.
Was it really you? Could it really have been something you did? You worked and worked your brain about everything that'd happened the past month, nothing you did could've caused this. This couldn't have been your fault. "Maybe he just doesn't love me anymore..." You thought to yourself. No, that couldn't be it... Could it?
But the more you thought, the more you realised that that was the most probable conclusion, why else would he suddenly distance himself from you?
You went home that night, thinking about everything when suddenly that thought came back into your brain. What if he had fallen out of love with you? What would happen then? You needed Yoongi like you needed oxygen, you wouldn't survive without him.
You arrived home, the house was empty. You kicked off your shoes and packed Yoongi his lunch for the next day before grabbing a sandwich yourself and heading into your bedroom for a nap, knowing that you wouldn't sleep tonight. You pulled on a comfy tank top and a pair of fabric shorts before tying your hair up on the top of your head and laying down, finally closing your eyes and letting sleep take over you.
A few hours later you felt the other side of the bed go down, Yoongi was home. You laid with your back to him and your arm clutched under one pillow, not wanting him to know you were awake at this hour. You heard him kick off his shoes before laying down beside you and grabbing his side of the covers, and shifting into a comfortable position.
You stared over at the covered windows, waiting for the hours to pass as you thought about Yoongi. Would he really admit it if he had stopped loving you? Yoongi was a truthful man so you knew in your heart that he would tell you the truth despite how much it pained him for you to know.
As the sun began rising, you checked the time. It was almost 6am, which meant that Yoongi's alarm would be going off any minute. Luckily, you had a day off today. Usually having a day off would make you happy but you were currently anything but that. You soon pushed yourself to sit up, your back against the headrest, waiting for that usual alarm tone to pull your boyfriend from his sleep.
Soon enough, it went off. Producing only a soft ringing sound to which he leaned over and slapped his hand on top of it to shut it up before realising that he in fact wasn't leaning over your body to shut off the alarm but was leaning over your legs instead. He sleepily raised one of his hands to run through his hair before turning to you, "Y/N, what's wrong? How long have you been awake?" He asked sleepily as he sunk back into his pillow. Wanting some more shut eye, "About five hours." You shrugged. "Yoongi, I need to talk to you." You mumbled as you nervously played with your fingers. He hummed in response, still sleepy and you had to admit that he looked adorable whilst tired, especially with his morning hair.
You soon averted your gaze, gulping down the lump in your throat and trying to keep yourself from letting any tears fall as you asked the one question that you dreaded knowing the answer to. "Yoongi?" You began. Once again, he hummed in response, still half asleep. "Do you still love me?" You asked. His eyes shot open, your unexpected question waking him right up. "What?!" He asked in shock. "Do you st-" You began to repeat the question. "No, no, I know what you said Jagi... I'm just wondering why you'd ask something so stupendous." He was almost scowling by this point, shocked that you dared even ask such a thing. You turned your head away from him as he pushed himself to sit up, your eyes staring down at your fidgeting fingers.
You gulped down another lump in your throat and turned to your boyfriend, "I... I just feel so pushed out by you right now. I know this tour is important to you, I know you feel like everything has to be perfect but it already is Yoongi. The other boys wouldn't leave at such a decent time if they thought it wasn't good enough. Ever since you found out that another tour was coming up, you've shut me out. I never see you anymore, we haven't been on a date in months, we haven't so much as hugged each other in weeks. I know you're busy, god don't I know it but why does that mean I have to be pushed out? Why does that mean I have to be at the back of the queue? But most importantly Yoongi, why does that mean that I can't be there to take care of you because I know you're working way too hard." You said. Not even realising that you were crying until Yoongi stared at you in shock before lifting his hands and wiping away your fallen tears.
"I had no idea I was making you feel this way. I'm so sorry jagiya." He sighed. "If I knew, if I realised." He added. "How could you realise Yoongi, all you do now is sleep, studio and repeat. You've no time to even so much as acknowledge anything else." You shrugged before throwing your legs over the side of the bed and beginning to climb out. However, someone caught your arm, stopping you from leaving. "How about we change that today?" He asked. "What do you mean?" You questioned in confusion. "I'll cancel the studio today and it's your day off right?" He asked. You nodded before opening your mouth, "Yoongi, you don't have to. I know how much this tour means to you, I understand that you have to put it first." You sighed. He closed his eyes, "No, y/n. I don't have to put it first, not anymore. You were right, the album, the songs; They're as good as they're gonna get. It's time I spent some time with my angel before I have to really leave." He smiled before leaning over to kiss you deeply.
"But one more thing..." He began as he pulled away. "Please don't ever think I'm going to leave you again, Jagi. That could never happen." He reassured you. You sat back on the bed and hugged him tightly, "I love you Yoongi." You sighed in relief. "I love you too, y/n." He replied as he held you before pulling you back into bed and wrapping you into his arms. "But before we do anything, we need a few more hours of sleep... For the sake of my sanity." He chuckled. You nodded with no hesitation whatsoever, lord knows you needed sleep too. You settled back into bed, in the arms of your loving boyfriend, getting a few more hours of sleep in before a day full of loving and caring for one another... Something you hadn't felt in weeks.
HOSEOK
When you and Hoseok began dating you thought it would've been easy, boy were you wrong. You knew he was a busy man, you knew dating him meant that there'd be a lot of days when he wasn't there but what you never thought would happen was that even when he was there, he wasn't actually there. When he was with you and was supposed to be enjoying time with you, he wouldn't be in the conversation, his mind would still be on his work. Looking through videos of his dance routines, finding any kind of fault he could.
At one point you even took his phone from him and asked him to stop criticising himself, this only angered him into thinking that you weren't interested in his work, which wasn't the case at all. You just wanted him to stop putting himself down. However, that one act stopped him from showing you his dance videos ever again. You didn't mind that but what you did mind was that he'd still watch them in front of you and say things such as "Yah, this could've gone better." Or "Oh no, I messed up this move."
It annoyed you so much because not only were you always amazed by his dancing but also because this was your time with him which meant that your time together was being used for work. This annoyed you profusely.
One night it got to a point where you'd had enough, you grabbed his phone and placed your hand under his chin; forcing him to face you. "Hoseok, listen to me... I know you want this to be perfect but please just stop it. Stop putting yourself down, stop using OUR time together to criticise your work. I'm tired of it, these nights are supposed to be for us. Not for self criticism. We barely spend time together as it is, why now when we finally get the chance are you using it for work?" You asked seriously. "I'm just trying to do my job, y/n." He replied.
You rolled your eyes as you stared at your boyfriend, "Then why in the name of hell do we have date nights?!" You snapped suddenly. "Why do we bother when all you end up doing is working, what's the point in this Hoseok. We may as well just not spend time together at all because Lord knows that's what it constantly feels like anyway." You added before standing up and walking away. You walked out into the hall, leaning against the wall with a sigh, you did love Hoseok but why did he have to act this way during your time together.
You shook off your thoughts before he had time to follow you and walked out of the front door, you began walking down to the nearest park and sat on a bench to collect your thoughts. Did he really dislike spending time with you that much that he decided to work on your time together? Why did he never want to spend time with you anymore? Was it because of your movie choices? Or was it simply because he didn't love you anymore?
That thought struck out to you the most, maybe he had fallen out of love with you. A few tears fell down your face at the thought, you'd never thought about it like that before.
You soon felt someone sit on the bench beside you, you quickly wiped your eyes and turned to the stranger... Only to realise it was Hoseok. "You were right, I was being a jerk. I'm sorry." He spoke as he turned to stare at you. "Wait, are you crying?" He questioned. "No..." You spoke, your voice hoarse from the tears. "I just..." You began with a sigh as you realised that your boyfriend didn't believe a word you were saying. "Do you even still love me?" You asked as you stared at him. He laughed, almost manically. You stared at him, one eyebrow cocked as you waited for him to realise you were serious, he soon calmed himself down, "Of course I do. Jagiya, how could you ask such a silly question?" He asked, still half amused. "I just feel like you don't want to spend time with me anymore, you're always working during our time together. We always planned our time so that it wouldn't interfere with your working time or your time with the boys, but that clearly hasn't worked out and I just feel so pushed out right now that I don't know what to think, Hobi." You sighed before running your hand over your face, realising how desperate you sounded.
Hoseok smiled before gently grabbing your hands, "I'm sorry I've been pushing you out. You're right, I have been working during our time together and neglecting you. I apologise for that. I'm sorry, but I will always and forever love you y/n-ah. You're my princess, I couldn't imagine my life without you. I promise that from now on I will leave my work stuff for work and all my attention will be on you and our activities during our time together." He reassured you. You smiled appreciatively at your boyfriend before pulling him into a huge hug, "I love you, Hobi." You spoke. "I love you too, jagi." He smiled at you. "Now let's go home and finish that movie we left playing, yeah?" He asked. You nodded as he intertwined his fingers with yours and you let him guide you back to your home.
NAMJOON
When Namjoon started spending more time at the studio than with you, you began to worry that he was overworking himself but he'd come home every night with a kiss and a hug especially for you before falling asleep on your shoulder, his breath warming the crook of your neck.
So you thought he was okay, until he started staying nights at the studio. You tried going to see him, making sure he was okay but he'd tell you he was working and he'd tell you he was fine. He'd put you in a cab and send you back home, clearly not wanting to be disturbed from his work. So you skulked around your shared apartment looking for ways to fill out the rest of your days as you finished working from home.
But those times were just filled with hurt and sadness... And thoughts. At first it was just thoughts of ways you could do your work better but then your thoughts drifted on to your loneliness, why were you lonely? Why didn't Namjoon want to spend time with you anymore? Why did he spend all day at the studio? You knew he had Yoongi's help but you also knew that even Yoongi left at a reasonable time whereas Namjoon wouldn't even end up walking back through your front door until almost three in the morning, even after being at the studio since nine in the morning.
"I'm just losing it. Overthinking." You told yourself. "What if he's cheating on you?" Your conscience asked. "What if he's not interested in you anymore?" This thought caused you to go and stare at yourself in the mirror, checking if you really were still good enough for him. You knew he didn't care about your looks but you did care about your looks and you were always worried about him leaving you due to them. He's told you numerous of times how beautiful you are and you still receive a quick peck when he leaves for work on the morning but nothing more, you barely even have the chance to register what's going on because you're always still half asleep.
Today you decided that it was enough, that you'd had enough of all the questioning. You were now totally convinced that he'd lost feelings for you, so you sat on the couch, on your thirteenth cup of coffee so that you'd be awake when he arrived home and stared over at the show that was on the movie channel on your TV screen. You waited and you waited, checking the clock from time to time to see what time it was. When it reached 2:30AM you heard the keys rattling in the door, you glanced back; waiting for him to walk in and placed your cup on the coffee table in front of you.
He barely noticed you were sat there until he caught sight of the television, his brows furrowed as he walked into the living room where you were sitting. "Y/N?" He questioned. You stared at him. "Yes?" You asked. "What are you still doing awake?" He asked you. "I've been thinking Namjoon..." You began. "About what, jagi?" He asked. "About us..." You replied. His eyes widened, "Are you going to break up with me?" He questioned. "That depends on your answer to one question I'm going to ask you." You said. Fear struck in his eyes for a small second before he nodded and sat beside you on the couch; turning off the TV in the process.
"What's wrong Jagiya?" He asked you. "Do you still love me?" You asked. He furrowed his brows, slightly confused by your sudden question. "Of course I do! Why would you ask such a ridiculous thing?" He asked you. "You've been distancing yourself Joonie, spending nights at the studio even though you've spent all day there. I know you're the leader and I know your job is important to you but I thought I was too. And I'm not trying to say that you should put me first, not at all. I just wish you'd spend time with me to. I never see you anymore because you're out of the door at eight and you don't come back until about two in the morning. I don't feel like I have a boyfriend Namjoon, I feel like you're a lodger. We never speak anymore, we never hug, never kiss... Never get intimate. Nothing. I feel so pushed out." You let your feelings out. Namjoon pressed his tongue against his cheek as he thought about your words, he knew you were right. He had been overexerting himself at work.
He let out a long sigh, "I do still love you, y/n. I spend long hours at the studio to perfect my verses, I've been struggling recently." He sighed. "Then let me come with you sometimes, that way at least we'd still be spending time together, like we used to." You said. He nodded to your words, "Okay, okay. I will. I'm so sorry you've been feeling so pushed out, you're my world, my princess and I just want you to be happy. I'll cut back on the overworking and when I do go to the studio on your days off then you can come with, you might actually give me the confidence I need whilst I am there." He smiled lightly. "I love you so much though, jagiya. Please never doubt my love for you again." He said. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. I love you too." You replied as he took your hand in his, turned the light off and began leading you up the stairs so you both could get some much needed rest. As you walked to the bedroom he began telling you about his plans for you both tomorrow, how he would take you to the studio but you would only spend half a day there because then he was going to take you for a cute romantic walk in the park before a candle lit picnic on the roof of the studio building. Safe to say, you couldn't wait to get it all done.
JIMIN
When Jimin told the boys he was dating a waitress a chorus of laughter filled the room, not because of the profession you'd chosen but because of the fact that they'd be able to get freebies when visiting the cafe in which you worked, however when you told them it didn't work like that you received a chorus of disinterested mutters until you told them they'd get a discount but it wouldn't be totally free, smiles spread across each members face except one... Jimin's.
When you proceeded to ask him why he chuckled and said it was nothing, just something stupid. When you pressed on the subject he finally told you that we was worried that now you'd distant yourself from him to spend more time with your newfound friends, you laughed it off; promising him that it'd never happen. Things went back to normal after that, he was his happy self again, no more moping around. He was just glad that the boys liked you.
Until two weeks ago, something happened that suddenly changed Jimin's mood. You weren't sure what but it made him do what he feared you would do, it made him start spending more time with the boys than he did with you and it wasn't even just for dance practice or studio sessions, he'd just hang out with them, stay over at their places without letting you know until right before he was going to bed. Today wasn't any different, Jimin still left before you even woke, he simply left a lousy note on the table... Which you had just about had enough of receiving, you walked out from your shared bedroom, once again waking up to an empty bed.
Jimin's shirt was hanging loosely off of your shoulder, as your hand reached up to brush your hair from your face that you'd forgotten to tie up last night. You then grabbed a cup and began making your usual morning coffee before settling on to the sofa. That was when you saw the note. You yawned before leaning over to grab it off of the coffee table, recognising the familiar hand writing of your boyfriend, Jimin.
Dear y/n,
It's my day off today so the boys and I have decided to go to a concert, one of the artists that inspired me most to take up music is playing in Korea tonight and the boys have asked me if I'd like to go with them, I said yes. Don't wait up
Love, Jimin x
You scrunched the note up into a ball in your hand before gulping down the last drop of your coffee, getting up and heading back towards the bedroom where you got dressed, pulling on the first outfit you could get your hands on; A pair of jeans and a white tank top. You pulled a baseball hat on to cover your unwashed hair before grabbing your phone and keys and leaving the apartment. You were going to find Jimin and you were going to find out why he never wanted to spend time with you anymore.
You checked his local coffee shop first, he wasn't there. You continued your search, after checking the park, the ice rink and even the studio you were almost out of ideas until you realised that there was one place you hadn't checked. Namjoon's house. You got back in your car and put it into gear before beginning to set off to Namjoon's house.
You parked in the driveway of his house before climbing out of the car and walking up to the front door where you knocked loudly, three times. If this had to be done in front of his friends then so be it. It was getting done.
Namjoon answered the door and was clearly shocked to see you but pulled you in for a hug regardless, he was your friend after all so of course you hugged back. "Is Jimin here?" You asked curiously. "Yeah, what's up? You look annoyed?" Namjoon asked. "I need to ask him a couple of things, that's all." You replied. Namjoon nodded, realising that this was a topic between you and your boyfriend as he allowed you to enter inside his home. You smiled appreciatively as you walked in and found Jimin laughing in the living room with the other boys, the sight made you almost turn on your heel and tell yourself it could wait but it couldn't wait and you knew it. You shook off that thought and headed towards your boyfriend.
"Jimin, we need to talk." You sighed. "About what?" He asked. You raised an eyebrow and headed into the kitchen, knowing that would make him follow you in there. You leant against the huge dining table as your boyfriend entered, "Have I done something to you?" You asked. "What?! Why would you think that?" He questioned. "Because you haven't been the same with me since I hugged Namjoon two weeks ago... What's wrong? Did I get too close? Did I seem like I was trying to make a move on him? What did I do that was so bad to make you stop treating me like your girlfriend?" You questioned. His words caught in his throat, he had been a little jealous when you greeted Namjoon with a hug, he knew you guys had been getting close recently but he also knew that you were just good friends.
You stared at him, watching his face crinkle in thought as he tried to think of a reply but couldn't, "Or do you simply just not love me anymore?" You finally asked. His eyes widened, tears began trickling down his face, how could you think so low of him. "How could you even think that, y/n? I've been madly in love with you for as long as I can remember, why would I suddenly stop loving you now?" He asked. "You never spend time with me anymore, when you first introduced me to the boys you were scared that I'd start spending more time with them than I do with you but then you go and do that yourself. Why? I just don't understand why? What did I do?" You asked, pleadingly. "Nothing, you did nothing. It was my stupid jealousy. I'm sorry." He mumbled through the tears.
"Jimin, I'm tired of waking up in the morning to an empty bed, I'm tired of finding a note on the table telling me not to wait up for you to return, I'm tired of not being able to see you because you've made plans with the boys and for some reason can't include me." You sighed. "I just... I guess I just want my caring boyfriend back. The one that included me in plans, the one that held my hand in the street, the one who hugged and kissed me every chance he got, but most importantly the one who made me feel so loved and so much like a princess." You added. Jimin let a sigh escape his lips as you continued, "If that Jimin has gone then I'm sorry but I can't stay in a relationship like this Jimin. I'm not asking you to choose between me and your friends, you know I'd never do that but I am asking you to bring my caring, loving Jimin back again and not the one I never see." You sighed.
He gently took your hands in his, tears were now falling from your eyes too as you stared into his. It was never your intention to make him cry but you couldn't just stay silent. "I do love you, I will forever love you. I am sorry that I made you think any different, the reason I distanced myself was because I saw how close you were getting to Namjoon and I didn't want to deal with a ton of heartbreak if you were gonna end up choosing him so I distanced myself to stop myself from getting hurt, but in the process I hurt you and I am so sorry for that." He apologised profusely. "I'll go to the concert with the boys tonight then after dance practice for the next week, I will come home to you and we will plan dates, make up for what I've missed, okay?" He asked with a half-hearted smile.
You had to forgive him and you could tell he was sincere, "Okay, I'll be waiting." You smiled as you pushed yourself up onto your tiptoes and kissed him deeply. "I've missed you so much Jimin. I love you." You told him as you pulled away. "I have missed you too, jagiya. And I love you too." He smiled down at you before pulling you into his arms and hugging you tight. "Please remember that I will never lose love for you, you mean too much to me y/n." He whispered into your hair. "I know, it was stupid. I'm sorry." You replied.
You went home that night, happy to be having your loving boyfriend back. You really couldn't wait for next week now.
TAEHYUNG
It was a simple but cute way that Taehyung asked you to be his girlfriend, you'd been friends for years. And he had developed feelings that you miraculously, to him, reciprocated so he planned a simple picnic in the park, one that you thought was just another friendly day out with Yeontan, his Pomeranian puppy that you'd always loved. However, when you reached the park and began to feast on the perfect little banquet he made that was when he popped the question, "Y/n, I know we've been friends for a while now and in no way do I want to ruin that but I don't think I can stand the thought of us staying as just friends anymore. If that's what you'd like then that's fine with me but if you would like to go a little further with me and become my girlfriend, I promise to treat you right and show you more love than you've ever received before." His little speech was one of the cutest things you'd heard, even Yeontan barked in agreement.
So how could such meaningful words and such a beautiful gesture lead you to be up at night crying whilst he paces the studio practice rooms with the boys?
It started three weeks ago, it was a week after you'd finally got an apartment together. He began being away from you a lot more often, you knew it wasn't just for his work either, some days it'd just be for drinks with the boys, like he didn't do that enough already. You had no obligation to him hanging out with the other members outside their working hours but when he was pushing you away just to do so, that's what hurt.
You hadn't spent time with him in almost three weeks, hadn't seen him in almost a whole week. Sure, you lived together but he always left the apartment before you woke and wouldn't return until after you'd fallen asleep. You couldn't even recall the last time you guys so much as hugged one another.
As the days dragged on, as you saw him less and less, you began to worry. Hoping for nothing more than your boyfriend to be home, by your side, cuddled up onto the couch with you watching some lame chick flick. But the days of when he'd do that were now long gone.
After another horrible day at work, dealing with angry customers, getting blamed by the boss for something one of your co-workers did... Again, and being threatened by your boss; Telling you he'd fire you if you made one more mistake. Your annoyance was already shining through as you parked your car in the drive and walked into your apartment. Right now, all you wanted was for Taehyung to hold you and let you know that it was all gonna be okay.
As you walked through your apartment door, the house was filled with an eerie silence; one you were well more than used to by now. You peeled your jacket off of your warm body and hung it up on the hooks by the front door before grabbing a hair tie and throwing your hair up into a ponytail to stop it sticking to your sweat ridden forehead as you headed into the kitchen and began preparing yourself a meal, a meal for one as usual.
You ate in silence before washing up your plate and heading into the living room with a glass of ice cold juice, you set it down on the table and sat yourself on the sofa as you began thinking of the last couple of weeks. You shook your head in annoyance at all the hardships you'd been through this past month and how Taehyung didn't know about a single one because he was never there for you anymore. You'd finally decided that enough was enough as you finished your juice and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen, beginning to scribble a small goodbye note to the man you loved.
Dear Tae,
I can't stand this any longer. I can't take it. I deserve to be with someone who appreciates me, someone who wants to spend time with me. For the past month, I've been pretty much living alone. You've been pushing me out and I can't stand it, I'm worth more than that. I love you so much Tae, but I don't think those feelings go both ways anymore, maybe we should just go back to being friends? It seemed easier then, and you didn't feel obligated to spend time with me as a friend, I could settle for texts but a girlfriend wants to feel loved by their boyfriend, I haven't felt that in so long.
I'm leaving Tae. I wish you and the boys the best of luck, I really do and I love that you want to spend time with them outside of the studio or dance room, but I thought you'd want to spend time with me too... Guess I was wrong. I love you TaeTae, but goodbye.
With love, y/n x
You folded the note and placed it on the coffee table before picking up your empty glass and taking it to the kitchen where you quickly washed it. You then headed up to yours and Taehyung's shared bedroom and began packing up your things. What you said in the note was true, you do love him but you really didn't feel like he loved you anymore and you couldn't stay where you weren't appreciated, you'd finally realised your own worth and if Taehyung wasn't going to appreciate you for what you were then you would find someone who would.
You slammed your suitcase shut, headed down the stairs and left the apartment, only turning back to post your keys through the letterbox after locking the door. You placed your suitcase into the trunk of your car before climbing into the drivers seat and pulling out of the drive. You continued down the street, taking one last look into the rearview mirror as your apartment disappeared from view.
You parked up at your best friends house, asking her if you were able to stay a few days just until you could get another apartment, one that didn't include Taehyung. Your best friend instantly agreed, sitting you on the sofa and handing you a mug of cocoa, worriedly pleading with you to tell her what was going on and why you'd left Taehyung. Tears blurred your vision and your voice cracked before you even had time to speak, but suddenly everything came flooding out. All your thoughts, all your feelings, everything. All the hurt was too much to bare, you cried yourself to sleep that night on the couch, in the arms of your best friend as she rocked you back and forth and soothingly told you that everything was going to be okay and that it would all work out.
The next morning you awoke, your best friend was gone but she'd left you a note on the table letting you know she had gone to work but she'd be back at seven that night. Today, however was your day off. You sat on the couch and flicked through the channels on the TV, you weren't even gonna bother getting yourself ready today, your heart was hurting and you weren't planning on going out into the public anyways.
However, at noon there was a knock on the door but with it being your friends house, you refused to answer and stayed sat in your position on the couch, watching your favourite TV series. "Y/N, I know you're in there. Y/F/N told me!" He called out from the other side of the door. You dropped the spoonful of ice cream you were about to devour back into the bowl in shock before sighing. The voice coming from the other side of the door belonged to Taehyung and you knew it. You moved the ice cream tub from your lap, pushed your blankets to the side, paused the TV and finally stood up, knowing Taehyung wouldn't leave until he'd spoken to you.
You pulled the front door open and stared at the boy standing on the porch, "What?" You asked him. "Jagiya, please come home. The apartment is so cold and lonely without you." He sighed. "You should be used to that." You shrugged. "What?" He questioned. "Oh wait, no. I'M the one who's used to that. I'M the one who constantly went home to an empty apartment. I AM the one who constantly cried herself to sleep wondering why her boyfriend didn't want to spend time with her anymore. And it's me, I am the one who was lonely for a good month and a half, never feeling so much as an ounce of affection from you. Karma's a bitch, Taehyung. She often makes you have a taste of your own medicine." You said, venom lacing your voice.
He stared at you, instantly realising how much he'd hurt you and how much he'd done wrong. He let out a sigh, "I'm sorry Jagi. I didn't realise what was going on. I didn't realise I was hurting you." He sighed. You shook your head at his attempts, was this really the best he had? He was now staring down at his shoes, "Do you even love me anymore, Taehyung?" You questioned him. His head shot up, his eyes darted to meet yours, what an absurd question. "Of course I do, jagiya!" He exclaimed. "Then why doesn't it feel like it?" You asked. "Why do you brush me off? Why do you spend time with your friends but can't even so much as spend five minutes in the same room as me when we're both awake? What did I do that turned you away from me? Was it the fact that we moved in together? What was it?" You cried in hopes that he'd have an answer. "I don't know jagi. All I know is that I'm sorry and that I love you. I would die for you, please just come home with me. I'll change, I'll spend more time with you, I'll take you on dates, I'll love you unconditionally again. Just please, please y/n, please come home." He was practically pleading by this point and you could hear the pain in his voice. You could tell he was being sincere.
Your heart ached for him and you knew he always kept his promises so you then said, "Okay, I'll come home but please don't shut me out again Tae." He stared at you. "Please don't doubt my love for you again." He said as he pulled you into him and hugged you close. Taking in your scent and realising how much he had missed you, just simply breathing you in.
You then retreated back into the house, placed the ice cream back into the freezer, tidied up so your friend didn't have to, turned off the TV, wrote a note to your friend letting her know you were going home before grabbing your suitcase and walking towards your boyfriend. His eyes lit up when he saw you approach before reaching his hand out, you took it instantly causing him to intertwine your fingers as you both began making your way back to your shared home, finally happy you had gotten each other back.
JUNGKOOK
You were in your shared bedroom, waiting for Jungkook to finally return home. You had picked out the movies for your date night that you'd finally arranged, you stared down at the movies, there was Bad Boys, Bad Boys 2, Despicable Me, Peter Pan, Lion King and even Tangled... Yes, most of them were Disney movies but you both knew how much of a Disney fanatic you were. You had the popcorn on the night stand, the soda in the mini fridge in the bedroom and the chocolate hearts were in a box on the pillow.
This was the first time in weeks that he'd decided to spend time with you, whenever you've suggested a date in the past he's come up with reasons as to why he can't attend, "No, I've arranged some one and one dance training with Hoseok." or "Not tonight jagi, me and the boys are going out." Of course, his refusing would always cause arguments causing him to stay out the entire night.
You were beginning to think it was something you'd done until one day he offered you a date night; tonight. He had dance practice today but he promised that he'd make it back in time; Even though he still hadn't shown. He promised you that he'd be back at 8pm sharp, it was now 8:30 and you were beginning to get impatient. You grabbed your phone and began scrolling down your snapchat, that was when a story from Jungkook appeared.
You furrowed your brows before clicking on the little circle and beginning to watch his story, there were snapchats of the dance practice that you couldn't help but smile at until you reached the most recent one, "Five minutes ago?" You questioned in confusion. You smiled half heartedly at the picture, it was him and the boys, you hoped he was on his way home until you caught notice of the caption which read 'Boys night out after difficult dance rehearsal. It's going to be good.'
You threw the phone on to the bed, annoyance taking over your features. You'd just about had enough of this, you were sick and tired of him blowing you off for the sake of his friends. If it were for dance rehearsals or studio you'd understand, if he didn't see his friends often you'd understand but he sees them everyday so of course it made you angry.
You stood up, grabbing the movies and throwing them across the room before grabbing the popcorn bowl and smashing it against the wall in anger, you walked out of the room, grabbing your phone and taking it with you as you grabbed a duffel bag full of already packed clothes, you scribbled a note to Jungkook, letting him know that you were plain and simply done. You then left the house, locked the door, posted the key through the letterbox and began heading towards your parents house, hoping they'd let you stay for a few nights, luckily they didn't live far.
You walked up the front path and towards the gate, your eyes scanning the garden to see if their cars were parked in the drive; your mother was home, thank god. You walked up to the front door and knocked as loud as you could, you could already hear Dolly Parton blasting through the open windows. Soon enough you heard the music stop and movement behind the door. The front door was pulled open and your mum stared at you from the other side of the door, she instantly sensed something was wrong because she pulled you into her arms and walked you into the house.
Tears were evident on your face as she handed you a mug of your favourite hot drink before sitting beside you, "What's wrong sweetie?" She asked you. Your shoulders dropped, a sigh escaping your lips, "I'm... I'm thinking of leaving Jungkook." You blurted out, the words falling from your lips before you had time to stop them. Your mother looked shocked, "Hunny, why?" She asked slightly taken aback. "I just can't deal with it anymore, the constant let downs, the pain, the hurt." You sighed. "I can't do it anymore mum. He's been calling our dates off for weeks and when he decides it, he just simply doesn't show and instead ends up going on a night out with the boys." You said in annoyance. "I'm tired of it." The tears slipped down your face, your throat hurting more and more after each shout.
You went to bed that night, throat hurting, eyes stinging and heart breaking. You barely slept but when you did, you just dreamt about Jungkook and what his sweet little face will be like when he realises you're breaking up with him, as you're breaking his heart.
You awoke the next morning and pulled your duvet off of your body, you headed down the stairs and into the living room, sitting on the sofa beside your mother who was drinking her morning coffee. "You okay this morning, hun?" She asked. "I'm okay mum." You nodded. "Are you sure?" She questioned. "Positive." You nodded again. You were lying but you couldn't tell her the truth. She'd be so upset.
At about lunch time there was a knock at the door, you walked over and pulled the door open; answering it and coming face to face with the person on the other side. Your face dropped as you took in his features, his dishevelled hair, the bags under his eyes, the look of drowsiness on his face. He didn't say hello, he didn't bother with a greeting at all, the first words to come out of his mouth were "Please come home, y/n." He said. You could tell he needed you, you could tell how tired he was. You could tell that he didn't sleep at all last night, you really wanted to go back with him but you didn't see the point when he was just going to go back to his old ways once you were back there. "What's the point Jungkook, nothing will change." You sighed. "I need you." He replied. "You haven't shown that in the past few weeks." You shrugged. You hated seeing him like this and you did care about him so much but you couldn't just be thrown to the side.
You sighed as you folded your arms across your chest, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He said as he ran his fingers through his messy hair. "Jungkook, do you even still love me?" You sighed. That question had been going unanswered for weeks and you figured it was about time you asked. His eyes almost popped out of his head, "Baby! Of course I love you, why would you ask such a silly question?" He asked. "Because you haven't bothered spending time with me in about three weeks, when I suggest date nights there's always a new excuse and then last night, I waited for you to show up for our date night at home and I see on your snapchat that you're going out with the boys instead, how do you think that made me feel?" You asked. "I haven't felt like I'm loved in weeks, Kookie. And I love you with my whole being!" You sighed. "I'd understand it if you never saw the boys or if you were blowing me off because of practice or studio sessions, but that is never the case. I always make sure that I plan our dates after your rehearsals but that's never enough for you and I don't understand why. I would do anything for you, Jungkook but right now I just don't feel anything from you. So I have to ask, do you even still love me?" You repeated the question.
He cupped your face with his hands, holding it tenderly and gently, wiping away fresh tears that you didn't even realise were falling, "Hey, I love you with my whole being too Jagiya. I apologise for how I've acted, I'm sorry. You've been nothing but an angel to me and I've treated you like I'm the devil. I'm sorry. But I will change, and I plan to, starting right now. Come home, we'll have that movie date I suggested, we'll need more popcorn but I'm sure we have that and a fresh bowl in the cupboard. Having you away from me for one night was bad enough, I don't want that to turn into you being gone forever. I love you too much." He smiled before pulling you in for a sweet kiss. You kissed back, intensifying the kiss before pulling away. "Let's go home, bunny." You whispered. He nodded, grabbing your hand and heading back to the apartment with you where you finally started your movie date.
