So this week, my coworkers and I have been dressing up in costumes. Yesterday I was dressed as a Jedi, and this happened.

Customer: are you a ninja?

Me: *looks at jedi uniform, then back at the customer* No... I'm a Jedi Knight

~Later~

Different customer: *makes a "ninja" noise*

Me: (mildly offended) No.

Customer: no?

Me: No.

My manager: she's a Jedi, not a ninja (mildly laughing)

I also got a few comments like "I like your Obi-wan get up!" I wasn't trying to look like Obi-wan, but whatever. I did appreciate the compliments, though.

Customer: where are your ears Leia?

Me: Do... Do you mean her hair buns? I'm not Leia, I'm just a jedi. Besides, Leia never wore this uniform to my knowledge. (I was very confused and said this as politely as possible).

Another customer closer to closing time:

Customer: GIIIRRRRRLLL, that ain't a coat!

Me: *looks between myself and the older gentleman* its not suppose to be.

Customer, confused: then what is it?

Manager: she's a jedi knight.

Customer: OOOHHH!! Now I see it!!
