it's crazy that you used to be able to look up specific clips from a tv show on youtube. now regardless of your search terms you get 6 unrelated promo reels from the show's official account, 6 unrelated clips of literally anything else youtube thinks you might click on, 6 unrelated promo reels from the network's official account, 6 more completely arbitrary recommendations, 6 show trailers and publicity videos of the actors by content mills called 'pop glutton' and 'comedy chunk' and finally raw gameplay footage of a mobile freemium slots game and a video essay called Liberals Can't Belive It: 10 Times Hitler Was Shockingly Woke

I finished Legends Arceus recently but I have not finished sketching stupid things

(Yes I managed to misspell a five-letter word. I would love to use “english is not my first language” excuse but sometimes I make even more stupid mistakes when I write in my native language. So I think I’m just not that good at using human languages in general)

Playing Legends for the first time years after it was released I of course knew about Volo and his cute little mischiefs. I still ended up in this situation due to my brilliant idea of creating a perfectly round team and a bunch of other bad decisions. Believe me or not this didn’t end well.

While I was prepared for Volo I certainly was not prepared for Kamado and his unique ways of making decisions and solving problems. I was not prepared for the whole exile situation or the last cutscene where this amazing man just gracefully plopped all his responsibilities on Cyllene’s shoulders. The woman is two piplup tall and probably one mishap away from murdering someone, give her a break.

I��m a little sad now because it’s time to say goodbye to my morning routine of sketching whatever questionable ideas visited my head while playing.

But if you woke up today thinking “wish there was a children’s book illustrator somewhere on the other end of the world with half an hour to spare so I can ask them to sketch my favorite PLA character or pokemon” then hi hello i’m here welcome to my ask box. Apart from PLA i still have some residual knowledge of gen 2, 4, 6 and 8 (I’m also allergic to odd numbers apparently)

Just had someone contact me on my old Fanfiction.net account (that I have made 3 incredibly short fics back in late 2015 (?!)) try to con me into commissioning them for AI art.

They’re all “hi I’d like to talk about your story more” and it’s like ok I’ll humor this, then you get to Discord, they’re like “I’m an artist I can draw for you” I’m like “I’m also an artist that’s not necessary”. Them: “give me a chance, my prices are lower than others”

Anyways I reverse google searched their profile pic because anyone who has art that good 1) knows better, or 2) it’s AI (the art style for the shading was inconsistent between the clothes and the skin so I was already suspicious, that with the fact that their messages read like a chatbot)

And anyways and it linked back to an NSFW “AI artist” patreon. Get fucked mate

Be warned I guess? Talked with my partner and he was like “yeah it sounds like some get rich quick AI trick where they scrape old websites”
