Smth new for my upcoming object show “battle for survival”, feel free to start asking me questions abt the characters on my blog. Plus I felt like it would be a good time to put character references out since I’m still kinda new to tumblr and I also wanna start posting on my blog more. (Also the main plot of the series. Still haven’t decided if I wanna make it a comic or an actual animated series tho)

Main cast:

- (adult/parent 1) Wrench

- (adult/parent 2) Bouquet

-(kid of parent 1) Hammer

-(kid of parent 2) Lilypad

Side characters:

- (camp counselor) Marshy / marshmallow on a stick

- (officer) Kernel / popcorn kernel

- (Lily pads camp friend) Dime

- (wrenchs ex-husband) Nail

Extras:

- this series will sometimes bring up real world issues like divorce (between wrench and Nail), and possibly bullying

- this series won’t really have much romance in it besides maybe a flashback from wrench, I just don’t feel like that with the plot I have going. That it would be a good series to add romance into.

- Yes there will be some background references to other object shows for fun and as little Easter eggs

Main plot:

2 parents (bouquet and wrench), are both at work when an infection/zombie breakout begins. Maybe like a week prior, both parents had dropped their kids off at summer camp. So, being worried for their kids, wrench attempts to call the camp before driving there (meanwhile bouquet immediately drove to the camp.) and then they find out that the whole camp had spread out and evacuated to avoid any more zombies further (after a few camp workers got infected). So the entire basis of the series is just The 2 parents working together to try and find their kids. While, from the kids perspective, they tackle issues like being shoved into quarantine zones. And also constantly being moved to new places and not knowing where their parents are or if they’re even alive.

Character reference:

Wrench: female, age 33

- a hardworking, “always busy” kind of parent. Especially after divorcing her husband, she is constantly trying to find ways to provide for her and her kid.

- she’s a good mom nonetheless though, making sure her kid is being raised properly and with lots of love and support

- Wrench is really smart and she’s good with mathematics and other academic stuff, also on the more athletic side

Bouquet: female, age 32

- gentle parent, rarely gets mad, but still knows when she needs to give discipline or say no.

- bouquet is kind, and more on the laid back side but still puts in her work with cleaning and cooking (she’s a stay at home)

- while also not ALL the way relying on her husband to do everything, she puts in lots of effort to make sure their kid is raised well and knows their manners

- she’s not particularly “dumb” or anything, she’s actually fairly smart. It’s just that bouquet isn’t really that athletic so she has a lesser chance of surviving but with Wrench by her side to help her, it isn’t much of a problem

Lilypad (bouquets kid): male, age 10

- a very nice kid, manners, polite and caring.

- more on the athletic side, since he plays soccer and runs track

- willing to help others, but really short so the only time he really needs help is when he needs to reach something

- not used to being away from home for so long (yes this is foreshadowing that he might be homesick sometime in the series.)

Hammer: female, age 9

- strong willed kid, she’s also more on the athletic side, as her mom signed her up for gymnastics at a young age

- more of a quiet kid, but once she gets more comfortable then she starts to show herself out more

- not very willing to help others, very closed off and keeps to herself (her mama taught her that.)
