For the first 20 years of my life I have been called Jason, a name my parents chose. I never liked my name. I hated it. I always wanted to be a Mike or a John. The second 20 years of my life my new crew of friends all called me Jay, that was endearing and I thought it was better because my friends created it, but it still wasnt anything I really wanted. So 20 years of Jason, 20 years of Jay, and so I am spending 20 years of going by the other end of my name, Son. I hope everyone respects and enjoys this fun name change, and this all kinda ties in with the previously posted social media cleanse update, and so with a new name and new look on life without a scrolling addiction, I'm leaving all of my old social media behind, except for one new instagram account where if you're interested in what I am up to you can follow along! Hey folks! 30 Day Social Media Cleanse is over! Here are my notes. It was easy. Sitting around in the morning there were 3 times where my mind had the impulse to reach for an insta scroll to pass the time by. I still brought my phone to the washroom with me but then never opened it once. I read over 100 comic books and I'm still finishing up 3 regular books. I havent heard ANYTHING about the president or the virus in 30 days. I havent had any ads in my face. I havent angrily responded to posts from strangers who i dissagree with. Thats it, it was easy and refreshing! I also did a 30 day cannabis cleanse at the same time, for one, so that i didnt fill the social void with weed, and for two, i have some deeper issues i need to deal with that dont happen when I'm high all the time.
