May I say some positives in this controvercial times? Few examples from recent Bahrain interviews that Lando is getting better at what is he saying. 

It is clearly results of ‘Lewis and Stroll backlash’ because he used to always jokingly say the same phrases that can be seen as dismissive or disrespectfull or arrogant towards other drivers or race situations. All of them are like ‘someone got penalty or crash? Well i don’t care about others or what happened, it does not related to me’. 

Of course he is right, but there is a thing called Sportsmanship that is why you don’t say things like that. At least if you don’t go for a dic*head image.

Now he seems to hear himself how badly it may be taken and correct himself in the moment. 

1. Bottas pit stop. Lando joked about wishing Bottas would be out after pit stop but corrected himself by adding ‘obviously I don’t wish it upon anyone’. 

2. Battle with Charles. ‘I’ve obviously complained on the radio but not because he deserved a penalty’. And adding to make everything clear ‘He did not deserve a penalty’

3. About Daniel in the same interview. Great answer to a gotcha question. 

Kudos to media training, he needs a lot more. He really bad at formulating his thoughts and being emotional immature and having trouble with showing empathy to someone who have different experience than him.

The last one I use to understand why he is very empathic about how hard it is to be a rookie but have zero empathy to Lewis’s struggles to be a goat.

I personally think Lando has a good heart and will learn and become a better person. I mean you may check out Seb’s and Lewis’ interviews 5-10 years ago, they said some really bad stuff but learnt and changed a lot.

Quadrant is actually brilliant bussiness move for him as a driver. Think about how important to have personal sponsors is for drivers when they want to stay or move to the team. He does not have UralKali or Sainz/Estrella or Alonso/Santanders or Perez sponsorships deals that will help him, so he is building his own brand to make himself more marketable. Sponsors and Teams will more likely give him brand deals or even seats in the teams because of his social stats and popularity in younger audience. But also for F1 and Liberty Media his popularity in Twitch and Esport is like a genius money maker and perfect for their philosophy and marketing. If I would be a head of Liberty marketing I would see him as a golden boy in the best way possible

you know what’s so interesting to me, like, lando is an athlete. a formula one driver. one of the twenty best drivers in the world — he’s incredibly talented when it comes to what he does on the track... but the most fascinating thing to me is the fact that mf is a social media genius. his engagement with fans through social media is something we’ve never seen with other drivers... the only reason he’s my top fav driver is because of that authentic engagement. AND QUADRANT? the things he does with gaming in general ?!?! he already has a reputable brand. & that’s like extremely fascinating to me lol

From what I’ve seen so far seems like Lando went into season prepared to fight for his place in the team wih Dan. He just radiates that fighting energy, he is more serious and collected.

Maybe after few races Lando will chill out and they will have some laghs together, but not today for sure

I would love to be racing with 21 women on the starting grid. I think we should start a race series. That’s probably the wrong thing to say, isn’t it? There was actually a suggestion that women have their own race series… but I don’t agree. Because if you are good enough, you are good enough. It’s not a physical sport like running 100m or running a marathon. If you are good enough as a female, you should be able to race in Formula One… It will happen and when it does it will be fantastic for the sport.
