¡Comienza el primer evento del JylF: Renacimiento, justo a tiempo para celebrar el Mes del Orgullo! Tenemos un conjunto de temas sugeridos para cada una de las cuatro semanas de junio, inspirados en la simbología de la tradicional bandera arcoíris, que esperamos te animen a crear una pieza que toque alguno de los aspectos de la comunidad LGBT+ que se engloban en esos temas. Cuando publiques tu obra puedes arrobarnos y/o utilizar la etiqueta #jatp ren, ¡y así podremos encontrar tu publicación para compartirla aquí en el blog!

Primera semana (del 1 al 8 de junio): Sexo, Vida, y Orientaciones Sexuales

Segunda semana (del 9 al 15 de junio): Curación, Luz del Sol, y los Espectros del Género y el Sexo

Tercera semana (del 16 al 22 de junio): Naturaleza, Magia, y los Espectros de la Asexualidad y el Arromanticismo

Cuarta semana (del 23 al 30 de junio): Serenidad, Espíritu y Relaciones (¡incluyendo relaciones poliamorosas y queerplatónicas!)

Cada tema sugerido es de libre interpretación, y no es necesario que incluyas cada tema semanal en una obra: ¡solo tienes que acercarte y crear con Orgullo!

Announcing JATP Renaissance's first event, just in time for Pride Month! For each of the four weeks of June, we have a different set of prompts based on the original rainbow flag to get you started and a different aspect of the queer community to feature. Tag us when you post and/or use the tracking tag #jatp ren, and we'll be able to promote your work here on the blog!

Week One (June 1-8): Sex, Life, and sexualities/orientations

Week Two (June 9-15): Healing, Sunlight, and the gender and sex spectrums

Week Three (June 16-22): Nature, Magic, and the asexual and aromantic spectrums

Week Four (June 23-30): Serenity, Spirit, and relationships (such as polyamory and QPRs!)

Each of these is up to your interpretation, and you don't have to include all prompts in each piece - just go forth and create for Pride!

I have closed the form and reached out to everyone who applied! Thank you to everyone again, and watch this space for updates as we start to get events planned and flesh out how much we can manage as a team.

(There is a possibility of appointing temporary mods or other more specific needs that may open this up again, so if you were interested but it wasn't the right time there may be a chance to help out for a finite period of time or in a more specialised role in the future - more on that as we develop our plans.)

All right, the form will be open for about one more hour and then I shall close it (at 3:30 Pacific time just to get a round number in the minutes there) and proceed from there! I have genuinely no idea what to expect from opening this up, and I don't want to get too big a crowd - the more people to coordinate on this end of things, I suspect, the harder it'll be to coordinate overall. But I do think this will go a lot smoother and be a lot more fun for everyone if it's not dependent solely on my efforts and discretion, so if you're interested in helping to run this blog, please fill out this form.

I want to try and get this figured out by the end of the week, as this is when I'll have the most time to comb through applications, so please get your apps in soon!

Boosting again in case anyone was interested but hasn't gotten around to the form! I've gotten a few responses but I'd hate for anyone who wants to work on this project to miss a chance. I'm going to close the applications on Sunday afternoon, Pacific time (exact time unfortunately is dependent on several variables but I'll try to get a warning out beforehand so people know.)
