HPHM Summer Ship Week 2024: Confession

Hi again! Bringing you the next part in my very late participation to @hphm-ship-week . Here goes nothing.

Context: Arlene and Talbott at some point after going on a few dates wondered if their relationship was serious or just casual. Since they both have some issues with commitment and how they handle their personal relationships they couldn't think of anything better than just avoiding each other for a few weeks. It is until they accidentally meet alone in the rain that they are finally able to talk and properly define how they feel; so they confess to each other that they want to be together, that they are a little afraid of commitment, but are willing to give it a try. They kiss and decide to go to the Festival of Fun (sorry I don't remember The festival's nave) as a couple.

What a mess... Death Eater/ Dark Wizard AU

Not too long after her encounter with Talbott, Felicia begins to regret saving him and taking him to a safer place, although she left before he gained conscious, he managed to see her and started questioning whether if what she did was on purpose or she wanted something in exchange. In his mind a mere act of kindness did not make her any less of a criminal. (Taking into account that the Bennett family supported the dark lord before as the Malfoy family) Using his animagus abilities, he managed to follow Felicia excusing himself that it was just an investigation to see if she was into something fishy. Unfortunately she spotted him and both began an argument in a seedy alley, two muggles (criminals) didn't like to see them in their territory so... one thing let to another and both ended up getting into a "fight". Not willing to stay any longer in this situation, Felicia used her wand to cast a spell that left the two muggles unconscious. Talbott, on the other hand, was grateful but also uncomfortable. He stayed quiet and just casted a memory spell so that those muggles wouldn't remember anything.

BONUS! —So, uh... Does that mean you'll stop stalking me? —She asked trying to break the awkward silence —I wasn't stalking you, it was an investigation —He justified himself, Felicia turned to look at him with confusion —You're a Death Eater's daughter —You're an Auror —So? —He lifted an eyebrow —You could've left me here with those muggles if you didn't want to save a "Death Eater's daughter" —She made a quotation mark gesture with her fingers. Talbott sighed somewhat embarrassed by her statement but quickly responded back —You saved me not once but twice —With that response, the white-haired woman went quiet, he had a point —Besides, you're not supposed to use magic infront of muggles —Would you have rather let them to beat us to death? —Then you accept that you wanted to save me —You did it too a few minutes ago Whether they liked it or not, non of them could justify their actions, even if they were involuntary.

This is something I'm struggling with now, not that I don't think that AI can't be used for other useful things, but I sincerally think that using this to create automathic pictures from other's work is unfair, I can't believe we reached to this point where our work is stolen by a computer, is not fair for those that work so hard to share their art, passions or other stuff but it is what it is...

My two little buns, how cute

Sorry it doesn't have a good quality, gettin' back to my hobby it's kind of refreshing, however, I completly forgot how to size my canvas >_< anyways... For those folks who don't know these are Izumi Miyazaki and Felicia Bennett, both are my MCs from HPHL and HPHM, they're related so... yup. I wrote a few facts of them just to give a little context

Izumi is Felicia's distant relative (from her mother's side)

He used to study at Mahoutokoro school of magic but in his fifth year he decided to go on an exchange to Hogwarts

Following the previous fact, my HL lore is related to @tiny-chiro 's, both families are in good terms and him and Elizabeth are good BEST friends

Izumi was the first one in the family who got diagnosed with albinism, so he's the reason why Felicia has this same characteristic (and most part of the family)

Both Felicia and Izumi have something with butterflies, at least they feel secure when they are around those insects

First meeting

She stopped listening to what Tulip and Barnaby were saying, the only person that had her attention was that mysterious boy from Ravenclaw who was currently reading a book in complete loneliness. Without thinking Felicia approached him timidly, her mind racing with many thoughts about how to start a conversation with Talbott and get him to accept her to help with the animagi potion, however her words got stuck in her throat and couldn't say a thing because of how intimidated she felt by him. Talbott Winger raised his head to look at her, their eyes met in a moment of pure intrigue... who would've thought that this was going to be the beginning of a friendship, and maybe... something more in the future.

Just so you know I'm still alive hahaha, I really needed to draw something after a long period of doing "nothing". Trying to practice and look out for some free time for me to relax and do what I love. Well some notes about this drawing: I think I've already mentioned that Felicia used to wear glasses, not because she needed them but because they had a magic spell on them so she didn't freak out muggles with her eyes. However that spell doesn't work for wizards nor witches, so after some months after meeting Talbott she decided to stop wearing them while staying in Hogwarts.

Death Eater/ Dark Wizard AU

This AU needed attention, It was more buried than the other drawings I have saved in my folder HAHAHA but I really wanted to draw something of this theme. Let me give you context of this story.

The Bennett's family was already part of the many families that followed Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, due to the fact that Hiroshi Bennett was obssessed with pure-blood lines, adding to that that he wanted to take his questionable research and experiments with dark magic to inhuman levels to the Dark Lord.

Felicia Bennett was the youngest of her family, isolated from the muggle world, she was taught to have her own feelings at bay to not annoy her father. She nearly killed a person in her youth resulting in her boggart. Unlike her brother Takeo, she is not an official death eater, instead she just works undercover and reluctantly to find information for her father about other wizards.

Much to her misfortune, she ended up meeting a new auror that was hurt in a duel with other dark wizard, and that same man was coincidentally, following her family's steps. Of course, the relationship between these two did not start very well, caution and instincts made them doubt each other every time they met in certain places, although little by little they began trusting each other a little more.

And... that's it for today, I hope I can draw more of this AU in the future, there are a lot of things I left pending and that are probably a little dusty in my folder, however it doesn't mean that I don't want to write or draw about it, it's just that I have a sistem in my head that dictates what's more important NOW and what other things I can do later, anyways... hope you like it and if there are any questions about this AU feel free to write them in the asking box ^^
