In love with the weight displayed in the chair cycle. Will be studying these to implement similar techniques in future things..
More animation studies I did during my lunch breaks. The first one is a breakdown from Kill La Kill, the second I used a scene from Cowboy bebop as reference and the last one is the first animation I did when I got my IPad. —————— Tools: Rough Animator - Ipad + Apple Pen Patreon: [patreon.com/lunaartgallery] Twitter: [@LunaArt_Gallery] Instagram: [@lunaartgallerys]

Using one blank video layer per each frame made linework more manoeuvrable, and timing easier to keep track of.

Final assignment. After a slew of pleasant pieces I wanted to try something with a horror bent. Song: NIVIRO - The Ghost [NCS Release] Music provided by NoCopyrightSounds. Video: https://youtu.be/lTEzfj8IAR0 Download: http://http://ncs.io/TheGhost
Collating some screenshots of the process soon + techniques used, for future reference. I ran into some issues with what I believe was the selection tool showing up when exporting the video from Photoshop. Having now used Photoshop’s video layer function, I can definitely see how other programs might improve workflow - the navigation between frames and copying elements from one keyframe to another was a nightmare in Photoshop. Storyboarding and visualising how something moves in 3D space was difficult for me as someone who usually sticks to static 2D images. Sacrificed some detail more as a creative choice in the drawing stage because I liked the bumbling and disorienting sense of motion it created. But even despite the trials and tribulations for this tiny video, I do like of the result.

This is a really concise video on the topic, thanks for sharing it! The off-hand tip about painting over outlines for the final character style was a good one too, in the interest of time constraints.

It is a great idea to combine 2D and 3D animation together, while it takes a lot of hand drawing works which I am not really good at.

Such a rich sequence for ambience/atmosphere from a simple walk cycle, too. Absolutely adore this.

The last 2D task for this semester in GOBELINS was the four-legged walk. I’m glad I chose a bear for a model. I have to admit, the task turned out to be a great challenge for me.
Every time I beat new odds, raising the bar of my skills higher and higher. The results I achieved you can see below!

Certain camera angles create different meanings for the scenes. The same principle of using camera angles applies to the creation of 3D animations.
