Iām so fucking tired of this stupid fucking resurgence of people arguing that misandry is real or a coherent form of oppression at all so I wanna address this more directly. Most of the arguments Iāve seen rely on the fact that men are harmed and constrained by the patriarchy, and you know what, thatās true!
But cis people are harmed and constrained by the existence of the gender binary. That doesnāt mean that cisphobia is real. Straight people are harmed and constrained by heteronormativity, but that doesnāt make heterophobia real.
I really thought this stuff was obvious but I guess it isnāt. I need all of you who are complaining about āmisandryā to understand that you sound like the down with cis bus post

Reading about how intersex athletes have been treated is so fucking horrible. The countless lies and human rights violations. The discrimination and how it's ruined the lives of so many people is so awful. There has been no apologies from any athletics comptetions or organizations. They have blood on their hands. Just a tw for intersexism and mental health issues and suicide in the next paragraph because it can get pretty heavy.
Annet Negesa, who was a middle distance runner. She was suddenly barred from competing due to her hormones. No one told her why. She was then told she needed to take medication to lower her testosterone, then what she was told was switched. She was lied to about a surgery that she was told was like an injection and would let her compete again. She woke up with scars and had had a gonadectomy. That violation of basic human rights and medical ethics combined with inadequate postsurgical care basically ended her career. She deserves justice. She deserves apologies from the Olympics and everyone single doctor who was involved in it, and compensation and the promise that it should never have happened and will never happen again. She. Needs. Justice.
Pratima Gaonkar needs justice. She was a rising track and field star. After forced sex verificatiom she killed herself. The way media and news treated her after her death was disgusting. She deserves and needs justice. Her family deserves justice.
Santhi Soundarajan had her medals stripped and was treated as an outcast after forced sex verification showed she had androgen insensitivity syndrome. She was treated as an outcast, her gender was mocked. She's spoken out about how much discrimination she's faced, and how badly she's been treated. She now works as a coach, but was barred from competing. She deserves justice.
Caster Semenya deserves justice. Francine Niyonsaba deserves justice. Margaret Wambui deserves justice. Barbra Banda deserves justice. Beatrice Masilingi and Christine Mboma deserve justice.
The racism and intersexism and horrible human rights violations and medical abuse these women have faced for the supposed crime of being intersex and good at a sport is horrible. They deserve justice, but the organizations that perpetuate these atrocities don't seem to care. It's so fucking horrible.

the whole mutual thing is really overhyped on this site. sometimes interests donāt match up and thatās the only reason why there isnāt a mutual following. if youāre a regular in my inbox or my notifications, i have visited your blog before. if i didnāt want you around for any reason, you would be blocked. so yeah. you can spam my notes and/or talk with me (and possibly become my friend) even if iām not following you back. no worries.

āYou have to cheat. Ask for as many extensions on papers as you possibly can. Pretend your computer is broken. Use your charm if you have any. If youāre going to cry, donāt wait until youāre out of the roomādo it where the people in power can see you. Eat the same food every day if you canāt think of anything else to make. Put other things ahead of taking a shower, even if your mom said you have to take a shower every two days. Sometimes people wonāt notice youāre cheating but even if they do and are annoyed you might still get by. My mom goes to workshops for people with ASD and then gives me the really long printouts that go along with them. The printouts tell me to sit down and make a list of everything I have to do. When I am anxious, as I have been this year, itās hard to think about these things so I hold on to the printouts out of guilt but donāt actually read them. Then my mom finds them and gets upset that I havenāt read them and says that Iām not ready to live on my own. But I am ready to live on my own. Badly. Just like I can hold down a full-time job. Badly. Just like I am getting my homework done. Badly. And I forget to balance my checkbook, which none of my non-disabled friends do because you can get it online, and my mom says, āWell itās different for you because they would be able to do it if they needed to, but you wouldnāt, so you have to do it.ā Theoretically I understand this is true, but my checkbook remains unbalanced. Which is bad. And I feel bad. I do! At this rate Iāll never be able to go to college. But I do go to college. At this rate Iāll never be able to have any friends. But I do have friends. I just donāt do everything right with them all the time. For people whose lives are controlled by executive dysfunction, I firmly believe the difference between getting stuff done and not getting stuff done is not caring about doing things right. You cannot always make a list all the time and be early for everything. You just canāt. Hopefully youāre good-looking or funny or you remind someone of their niece. Exploit all opportunities. Do not do what people who are not disabled tell you to do (unless you want to, of course). All too often I find myself waiting for the day when I can do shit properly, which more or less amounts to waiting until Iām not disabled anymore. Then I can feel good enough to deserve everything I want. Well my cure is slow in arriving, so Iām just going to do everything I want now, if thatās okay with you.ā
ā
from Iām Somewhere Else, āMax is a Miracleā
The best advice Iāve heard on how to get through college with a developmental disability when there are zero accommodations for executive dysfunction. You canāt let anyone else try to live your life for you, and you cannot worry about ādoing things rightā. Also: none of the things described here as ācheatingā are ACTUALLY cheating.

Hey everyone!
I know I haven't been on here in a while, but I come with something that is really important to me, so I hope you can forgive me š¦ I adopted a dog from poland last year and got to know the woman who built her own shelter to save animals.
Aga started out working in a public shelter and conditions there were HORRIBLE. She took over it but they kept cutting funds, so at one point she decided to indebt herself to build her own shelter.
Now, she needs help keeping that shelter open
