seokgyu fic recs

As a fan of a small ship, I’m going to make a little fic rec post, and share all the seokgyu fics I’ve read and enjoyed during my short time so far in this fandom, and hope to spread some love for this cute ship, and spread some great fic too! 

king of baking, kim mingyu - T - yoonbot - But this is Seokmin’s story, and he’d set the soundtrack to a compilation of the 90’s biggest hits. (Great British Bake Off fusion fic of sweetness and cute). Always Make a Happy Plate - G - triggerswaggiehavoc -  Life isn’t exactly what Mingyu ordered, but he’s having it served to him anyway. (Diner AU, adorable). All Run Dry - T - allthatconfetti - Did it take long to find me? I asked the faithful light. Did it take long to find me? And are you going to stay the night? - “Moonshadow” by Cat Stevens or, Seokmin tries to find color in his life again. (Aged up characters,  AU, sweet and sad and lovely.) knots all up in my chest - T - habitualwords - Seokmin’s kind of hopeless when it comes to love, because that’s the way he is. Until he’s not.(Everyone deserves a second chance at love.) (Soulmate/College AU, sad and sweet and so lovely). was falling into place (i found a way to live it better) - T - softlees - Seokmin thinks that he would like to see in technicolor one day. He does not mind making space in his heart for all these people, all his soulmates. His mind soars at the prospect of holding that many people close to him.“It’s kind of like collecting Pokémon,” Soonyoung offers, whispering to Seokmin. They become seat buddies after a lot of pleading on Soonyoung’s part and some tears on Seokmin’s. “You gotta catch them all.“—in which seokmin falls in love. over and over and over again. (Soulmate AU, and this is such an interesting concept, it’s a really in-depth and beautiful fic exploring different types of relationships/friendships, and how they all connect to Seokmin. It’s amazing.) + Minghao

tigers in our hearts again - M - brightlight -  It starts with Seokmin, wanting to be kind, wanting to help the handsome (but out of his depth) upstairs neighbor babysit his niece. And it ends up…well, Minghao isn’t sure where it’s going to end up, but he knows that it’s annoying how cute Kim Mingyu is all the time. (Seokmin/Minghao/Mingyu, ‘97 line poly fic. Domestic AU, and such an indepth, wonderful read of this relationship.) If you’re in Seventeen fandom and you’ve never read any seokgyu, maybe you’ll reconsider with one (or all) of these great fics! This isn’t by all means everything (and I know it’s a small list anyway this hurts my heart) but this is what I’ve found so far and I just want to spread my love and affection for these fics, the writers, and the ship!
