Based on the different careers in my family history, I am not following the same path, it is because I have my own desires to achieve. In choosing my own path, I based it on the things I really want and on what abilities I have. Some of these people didn’t achieve those career they want because of financial problems, influence of other people to choose different path, and lack of support from their parents. Instead of taking the same path, I made them as my inspiration, because these people taught me that how hard life is, I should work hard for the things I really want to achieve. I learned from them that I should always choose the things I want and not what others want for me, because in the end I might regret it. I may not be at the same path as them but I really admire their ability to achieve their own success in life even if they didn’t get the career path they want. And I knew in myself that choosing the path I want will lead me to the success I always pray for.

While working on my family tree I noticed that there are a lot of things I still don’t know about my family history. I was a bit surprised to know so much things happened before, and it made me realize that there’s really no perfect family. A long time ago, some members of my family were not okay, they ignore each other because of some misunderstanding that turns into conflict, and I noticed about my family is that they have lack of communication. They don’t know how to express their selves that’s why they can’t say what they want to say which results to a big misunderstanding. Until now I noticed that my family still seems to be like that, and I want to do something to change that, I’ll try my very best to solve that problem and make this family even more better. I learned that knowing who is my family isn’t enough but knwoing who they really is the most important thing for me to understand them better.

During my adolescence stage, I can see that I can handle and manage my emotions even better, unlike before that whenever I‘m upset, mad, disappointed, etc. I don’t talk to anyone and I ignored them, but now I try to think of positive things and ways that can relax myself and it really helps me to lighten and control my emotions so that I can avoid hurting someone else’s feelings. Being an emphatic person really helped me to connect with others, it helped me to understand them and their situations that they’re going through. I always try to put myself first in the situation of others before I do something or give them the advice they need. With this abilities of managing and understanding emotions, I believe I have a high EQ.

According to the test I take, my love language is the Quality Time. I strongly agree with this result because I’m a type of person who always want some attention or time from people who’s very close to me. For me, spending time with the people I love is one of the most important thing for me because being with them makes me feel special and loved. But sometimes I hate it when I’m having a quality time with someone and there will be a distraction, or when someone doesn’t listen to me when I’m saying something important, but still I understand it. I remember before when our family had a Christmas party, we played different kinds of games, we ate together, we talked about our lives and laughed at each other. We just had so much fun at that moment, and I was so happy that I got to spend time with them and I’m also happy to see having a complete family. That one proves that the result I got was right. Yes I like being touch, receiving gifts, receiving compliments, and receiving help from them, but having quality time with them is the thing I really want. Having memories with those people will never be forgotten and I can bring them until I grow old. I’m not sure how long I’ll be with them so I’ll make the most of every moment and time with them.

ENJF or “The Protagonists”, this is the result of my test. I think that some of the characteristics of this this type didn’t match with my personality because its standards I think is too high for me, but some of it matches too. One thing that strikes me the most is that this protagonists type is more on helping others. Giving care to others is one of the most important thing for me, because seeing the people I helped, makes my heart melt. This type shows that they are willing to help for the brighter future, and no one will not be pleased with that way of helping, ’cause we all know that all of us have always been wanting a bright future. And that is one thing that I want to happen, even if I give a small amount of help, I knew it would still be a big help for others. It’s one of my personality that I will continue to do not because it is the right thing to do, but because it is what I want to do, and I hope everyone too.

Hi, I’m Janella I. Soriano, 17 years old and a grade 12-STEM 1 student. You won't have a hard time making friends with me because I’m a type of person that loves having new friends and loves to laugh all the time. I hate being sad because I want to spend my life having a happy memories despite all the problems that comes in my life. I’m also the one that never gives up, yes I cry a lot when everything is just so messed up but after all that crying, I still continue what I have started and finish it well. And that will help me continue to reach my goals, by not giving up and doing things with all of my heart.💖

And here are some of my hobbies that I love, and some of the things I want to achieve...

I’m a person who always love listening to music. Whenever I’m happy, sad, or even mad, I listen to music. I also play guitar and that’s also one of my hobbies. Music always give me peace. Music is just everything to me.

I also love watching movies, especially romantic movies. What I love about romantic movies is that it takes you away from reality just for a moment and I always wish that I am one of those characters😭Just kidding haha. Movies always give me lessons that I can apply in my real life and that’s another thing I love in watching movies.

One of my most favorite hobby is taking photos or selfies everywhere I go. It’s just so fun taking pictures because it serves as memories that I can keep forever. My friends always ask me to take pictures of them and that annoys me sometimes haha. Seeing old pictures of me, my family, and friends brings me back to the good old days. We use the lens to tell stories, and it is a beautiful privilege and powerful tool to capture amazing moments that would otherwise go unnoticed.🥀

All of us have goals in life and of course I have too. I’m a senior high student and I’m a one step closer to my dream course and that is engineering. I don’t know when I started to have an interest in engineering, maybe because of the influence from my father’s side, because almost all of them are successful engineers now, or maybe because I like the concept of building huge structures. The only thing I know is just, I want to be a successful engineer some day. And when that dream happens, I will now focus on my next goal, which is to bring my parents into the places or countries they want, and give them back all the sacrifices that they have done for me. I only have simple goals in life, and I’m doing all of this to be happy and to see my family happy. But for now, my goal is to learn new things and to graduate from senior high school.❤️

It is never too late to do the things you love, cherish every moment and live life to the fullest.✨😉
