It was about a year of uncertainty and an absolute strain on my heart. I felt stuck. I looked around and saw people engaged, married, had kids, or were just on another chapter in their lives but were in the same age range as me. For awhile it shook me. I let overthinking and timing of what I thought was my time, get to me. Worst of all during this time I became very agitated with my situation and felt inconsistent. Due to my inconsistency I lost a lot of relationships, friendships, and overall just had to move on. I started to feel like I didn’t deserve the future I always imagined myself having. I almost let the crazy get to me. I am just giving a brief summary of what happened. However due to the fact that I do not dwell or cannot stay wallowing, I found myself doing things for myself. I pushed my limits and truly did things that made me happy. I started to just not respond to negativity about things that use to frustrate me. Instead I would sleep or try to see if I could get over a situation without a reaction. I took trips by myself! I gave myself nice things I wanted! I spoiled myself. The outcome out of all of this has been unfolding beautifully. I have had to stop myself the last few weeks to realize it’s all real. For once in my life I can truly feel that this is my time and where I am meant to be. Never would I think I would get so lucky to be doing what I am doing this week. Good things do come to those who wait... but more importantly those who change their mindset will achieve their true vision. Work hard! Focus on your dreams and make them goals. Make time for yourself. Remember that you control your happiness. Not every single bad/negative reaction needs your attention. So thankful to be able to finally feel; solid, happy and sure of the future ahead. Hard work will pay off. Trying my best, to grow in grace.

It’s Friday and I am here to remind you to explore your scene! Breathe in local art. From the Hollywood sign to Melrose painted walls and murals. One of my favorite things is street art specifically.  How one wall can make a person smile so big.  I have always loved Alec Monopoly, and seeing this wall made my heart 💜 feel so good. Keep breathing in happiness and fill your soul with as much ART.

Even though these neon lights are retired and many of them not fully restored; it doesn’t take away from their momentous beauty! Neon lights: a lost art which started with an artist hand sketching each piece and bringing a needed knowledge of both chemist and creativity of artist from start to finish. I was fortunate enough to see a lot of Vegas history today. Being a resident of the 702 for 3 years this city has always had a special place in my heart. A quick 36 hour trip, to see a sight I’ve put off seeing was well worth it. You feel like you aren’t going anywhere with your life? Break the mold/habit! Do something. Only you have the power to make yourself happy. Don’t ever forget that you are capable of adventure and fun. #thirthyandthankful 💋 Growing up I watched 13 going on 30 multiple times on repeat I probably have that DVD scratched up somewhere in my childhood home. So to be finally here it’s like a breath of fresh air. Like this #fieldofflowers I consider this new decade and chapter to be full of color and life! My twenties helped me find myself and made me realize that the number one priority is taking care of myself first. This does not make you selfish! It makes you aware. It makes you a better person, for those you surround. By loving yourself you help others with your positive energy! The last few years I devoted a lot of days to my health. I learned to forgive and move on. I know a lot of people constantly wonder why certain people aren’t present in my life, the answer is simple; the people who choose to be in my life are the ones who have shown me consistency, acceptance, and no judgement. We all get older and I’d like to think wiser. We all walk away from things that no longer serve purpose. What I can speak on is that I personally love and give too much of myself at times. That is probably why I find myself in this position. However my heart is not going to form into stone because of it all. Instead, I will appreciate those who have stayed. Those who do not have a list of every wrong. I will surround myself with people who work on themselves, people who exude happiness and success for not only themselves but for others. “The future belongs to those who learn from the past and live brilliantly in the present moment!” I am tremendously blessed and reminded that I have everything I could possibly need. My heart is full of love. This year I vow to keep myself grounded and the easiest way to do that, is by investing my time and positivity on those who have done the same for me. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to go into this new and exciting decade of my life.

This week was hard! It tested me in every way. Over 5kcals burned, 10 hours, 10 classes of HIIT. My face says it all. Mental clarity, is hard to achieve. The quickest way for me to clear my brain is by working out. You deserve peace. Give yourself the time to work on yourself.
