As a reflection on what I have submitted I feel that I've had a consistent plan of my design through the process and I hope that I've managed to convey that in the final pdf. There are probably a few part of the design I could've taken more time on to develop, such as the exterior of the building or the courtyard.
Going forward I hope to gain more skills in creating atmospheric images using 3D modelling programs rather than just digital collaging over a hand drawn image, if I had done this I might’ve been able to create a better felling of natural light in the building. I could’ve also done with a few more atmospheric images to get a good sense of how the whole space works together.

this is my second atmospheric interior image, the area of my design shown in this image is of the entrance way where you can see the front desk, the rain wall and the locker space.

these are some photos I have taken of the original model in progress, these will be some of the images I use for the 2-4 images of the model that I need in the booklet pdf, although I'm thinking it would be a good idea to made some small changes to made it closer to my final floorpan.

I finally decided I didn't want to recreate the floor plan digitally, so I decided that tracing the original from butter paper onto normal white paper with a pen and then scanning it would do the trick. the pen really made the scan a lot clearer

these are some rough sketches of the left corner of the baths, trying to get the right type of perspective for the space. I really want to do an interior image of the rain wall but im unsure how ill do that yet.

after the week ten formative assessment I made a few changes to my floor plan, instead of an L shape rain/shower wall I used another circular shape that extends all the way to the back wall, and I wanted to create a smooth curved end to the hallways.

I made a digital version of the mapping I did on butter paper at the start of the design process, with the shows and dark spaces of the site and the way foot traffic moves through the space.

This is my final drawn up floorpan, instead of one large pool I have chosen to make two large baths that can have different temperatures, also with the change to the baths I have changed from a more organic shape to only circular shapes. Another thing I have changed is having the rain shower from the ceiling in an “L” shape bordering the baths, and also having dome smaller baths as well.

This is a shortened version of the concept I posted earlier, this defines the most important aspects of the design:
With the Dadly Foundation building being in the heart of Auckland City and in walking distance of busy university campuses, this is an opportune space to provide a calm experience for visitors.
As one enters that baths you are met with the soft patterning sound of water and calming natural light which envelops you as you  submerge into the baths.
In the modern design of these baths every aspect is considered to encourage that calm that many traditional baths have provided for centuries.
