If you argue that men and women are not inherently socially distinct, can you explain why radical feminists often advocate for female separatism rather than relearning gendered socialisation?
you have to stop seeing men and women as polar opposites who are fundamentally different from one another if you want your feminism to go anywhere

Hello hi, I haven't seen anyone on this hellsite (affectionate) talking about Labour's pledge to fund free breakfasts for all primary school children in the country so guess I'm doing it now.
So if you live in an area where the seat is going to be won by either a Tory or Labour candidate and you're still on the fence on actually voting Labour and not convinced by the whole tactical voting thing, hello hi, here's a reason to vote Labour: free breakfasts for all primary school students in the country.
[full article here]
Personally, I think that it's a bad thing when children in our country go hungry because you know, 20% of the whole country lives in poverty, so I genuinely think this is a very good policy.
Obviously, it's not perfect; I'd personally like it to go further. With that in mind, here's an article discussing the policy from the perspective of a school in an impoverished area whose breakfast clubs are currently being funded by a charity called Magic Breakfast.
But I still want to see this policy put in place, but that won't happen if Labour don't beat the Tories on July 4th, which is why I'm voting Labour .
Also, I'm adding this to the mountain of evidence that Labour aren't just Tories in Red Ties, which is anti-voting rhetoric btw

one of the many reasons that Labour's proposed VAT on private schools is a good thing.
“Rich kids should go to public schools. The mayor should ride the subway to work. When wealthy people get sick, they should be sent to public hospitals. Business executives should have to stand in the same airport security lines as everyone else. The very fact that people want to buy their way out of all of these experiences points to the reason why they shouldn’t be able to. Private schools and private limos and private doctors and private security are all pressure release valves that eliminate the friction that would cause powerful people to call for all of these bad things to get better. The degree to which we allow the rich to insulate themselves from the unpleasant reality that others are forced to experience is directly related to how long that reality is allowed to stay unpleasant. When they are left with no other option, rich people will force improvement in public systems. Their public spirit will be infinitely less urgent when they are contemplating these things from afar than when they are sitting in a hot ER waiting room for six hours themselves.”
