This is a Jade of Credit roleplay blog !! Interactions and asks are welcome <3 I enjoy roleplaying a lot!! I apologize if I don’t respond quickly though, I get busy occasionally.

Now, just because I’m roleplaying her does NOT mean I support any of her actions. I simply think she’s a character with interesting writing- and yes she’s manipulative.

I’m not really shipping her with anyone on this blog. That just feels wrong. ESPECIALLY with characters that are canonically quite young (aventurine, topaz, Sunday, Robin, you get it). Please DM/ask before shipping unless it’s ships with your own character.

I’m a minor. Nothing explicit please. Any pronouns work <3 (she, he, they)

P.S. Jade’s language seems like she’s sometimes flirting with people. Please do not exactly take it that way, it’s more of manipulation. I’m not trying to push ships on anyone, just simply stay in character.

A smooth chuckle escaped Jade as she let her coworker speak. She absentmindedly ran her manicured fingers over the scales of her snake, listening to Topaz’s words. She glanced at the door to make sure she had no customers waiting, then continued.

,,Quite popular, hmm? I suppose an energetic thing like him would be. And don’t worry about getting off track, little Jelena. As long as you get your work done efficiently, it’s not a problem to indulge yourself once in a while~”

The Stoneheart tilted her head at the rant, her small smirk still in place. She knew much about Topaz’s work- it was part of her job after all. While the younger woman was still a work in progress, she was already quite good.

,,I know. You never fail to pique my interest. It’s almost hard to predict what you’re going to do next…” She reassured, knowing full well Topaz would hang on to every word she said. She was also aware that her words could be hard to interpret as an insult or a compliment, and she wouldn’t elaborate. ,,And I may be. I’m not quite sure…” She drawled, making sure to drag this out. ,,Though which ship are you on? All I know for sure is there’s one nearby.”

The Stoneheart lifted her phone to her ear, her manicured nails tapping gently on the case. A small smirk tugged at her lips at the familiar energetic voice of the younger woman.

,,And an unknown currency, hm? I’m sure Aventurine is truly grateful for your help. But yes, a simple pawn shop day for me. Everything is going well, though, I hope? Where exactly are you?”

,,Haha~ you know me too well, little Jelena.” Jade responded to the last statement. She spun a pen gently in her fingers. While she did enjoy the woman’s enthusiasm, she had no doubt that one day she would find out the truth about the IPC… and everything else. Or; she would become an even greater asset, once she learned to keep pushing.

But until then…

,,Numby is with you, huh? How is he?” Jade knew very well the warp trotter didn’t like her, but she was content to make small talk with her fellow Stoneheart.

For a moment, Jade’s mind wandered, her focus slightly deviating from the call. Many thoughts flowed through her head, but she eventually returned her focus to her phone.

,,I’m glad you’ve gotten your work done. I must say, you’re always rather quick with it…” Jade purred softly, sitting down and crossing a leg over the other. Her snake slowly coiled around her arm, and she gave it a small smile. It wouldn’t hurt her, anyways.

Each time I ponder how I ended up in my current position, I start thinking of the future.

Is the future truly set in stone? Every choice we make, every step we take, every rock we kick- is it all foreseen?

Elio, the ‘guide’ of the Stellaron Hunters, is told to be able to see the future, and even copy it down in a ‘script’. Almost as if we’re a show, all planned out. And yet, sometimes I hear that there are other ways- other scripts- that lead to destruction. The future knows more about us than we do.

Will we reach the end of our story in our own way, or is it perhaps already set in stone?

The question I often posed to myself when I was younger went as so.

“What is the price to pay for life?”

I have said before that everything has a price, and that includes to live. And with the way I have lived my life, and everything I’ve witnessed and contracted- I believe I have come to a conclusion.

Some may call my contracts ‘a deal with a devil’. Others, ‘a deal with an angel’. But in truth, it’s neither of that. You show me your desires, and in turn, I offer you the chance to have them fulfilled- but there’s always a price. All I’m doing is making a fair deal, yet some see the cost too high.

The question I pose: is it truly your greatest desire, if you’re not willing to sacrifice everything for it?

He looked like a mess he had just gotten into a fight with some ipc guys as he was breathing heavily he sighs

“FORK YOU!”

He tried to flip her off but his beacon makes him use his ring finger instead which showed off his shiny engagement ring

“YOU MADE ME COME ALL THIS WAY WHILE I TRY TO HAVE A NORMAL DATE WHTH MY FIANCÉ FORK YOU!”

The pink haired woman turned. It wasn’t as if she was surprised; she was warned of an intrusion a while ago. She calmly adjusted the brim of her hat, a small smirk replacing the neutral expression she had previously wore. Her heels clicked on the marbled floor as she drew closer, yet maintaining a distance as to be prepared if attacked. Her gloved hand closed around her cane.

,,Ah. To what do I owe the pleasure of a galaxy ranger visiting my store? I must say, you look rather… roughed up.’’

Jade knew well why he was here, yet she decided to ask anyways, her words laced with the subtle feeling that she was attempting to provoke him. Her eyes landed on the ring, studying it. She was sure she had seen a matching one not too long ago… but she decided to stay silent about it for now.

My opinion on Topaz?

She’s a bright young girl. And while she’s already a precious gem- an asset to the Strategic Investment Department- she still has potential to be uncovered. To put it bluntly- she’s a little too sympathetic. She does her job well, but, as seen with Jarilo VI, she can be quite easily swayed.

But, on the Jarilo VI case, she handled that quite well. I believe a little ball of ice is a fair exchange for the Astral Express’s favor. They can prove useful later on; along with their attachment to both Jelena and Aventurine- which could most certainly be used to our advantage.

I’m well aware she harbors some sort of affection towards me; and favors me in a way. And I admit, I use that to my advantage. But I have trained her quite well.

One day, she will realize the first principle of negotiating a deal is to keep pressing after a victory. Until then, she’s still a work-in-progress.

The phrase ‘love can come in any form’- is true.

Some people love purely, and believe everything can turn out okay. That there is always light in the darkness.

Some people love carefully. They check if there’s strings attached constantly, and are always terrified they will lose the other.

And some people love horribly. A dark version of love, oftentimes leading to obsession. Some people don’t know they love, and usually care for others in a twisted way.

Some truly don’t care at all.

These, are the things I have observed from my fellow Stonehearts over the years.

And yet, I still can’t figure out, which way do I love?

Watching the Stonehearts, you find rather interesting things to observe. Each one is different in their own way; each have their own pros and cons. I acknowledge that even myself has cons- after all, everything must be a fair trade.
