I could wear my body without any problems the day before yesterday. Today, in London, it doesn’t fit. So I’ve basically destroyed it to make it fit and it just doesn’t work. I’m still super excited to see Taylor tomorrow (of course), but I feel like such a failure. And the worst part. It looked really good before I “destroyed” it. I’ve stopped hotel pillows in it in hope to make it work for Saturday’s show. But I’m not hopeful 😭😭

I’ve had a horrible spring. I’ve had a horrible last year. But now, things finally started to look good. I got my masters degree, I got my dream job as a uni teacher at 50% and working with science in my dream research project at 50%. And next week I turn 25. And I honestly want to do something big, something fun to celebrate. I deserve it after the horrible year. But now I have to work on my birthday. So I can’t be with my family (since we live hours apart). And everyone is on vacation. So I thought “let’s go out and eat with one or two friends from work and then celebrate on the weekend” but no one can celebrate. So no graduation party. No party for getting my dream job. And no party for turning 25. Such a small problem with everything I’ve faced in the last year. But it just sucks cause for ones, I actually wanted to celebrate. (And backstory: I didn’t really celebrate when I graduated from high school because I didn’t see it as a big achievement since I knew I would take a bachelors degree. But I got sick and had to cancel my graduation party for my bachelors degree. So I said I could celebrate my masters degree instead…but hey, who knows, maybe I will get a chance to celebrate when I take my doctor degree 🤷‍♀️)

I love how I switched from social work to criminology. And now I will probably get my first paper published in a scientific journal for social work ✌️ But how cool isn’t it that I will start working with science FOR REAL next week. Like I kind of already to it since my master thesis will get published (hopefully) but next week, I’ll get paid to work with science 🤩
