Deus Ex picdump from my lore. These were all meant to be for an "artbook style" post but since I've been taking forever to finish them I just decided to post them all together now.

The only finished pieces are the "character info pages" and that one "photo" of Walton and Lawrence in the middle.

Top left: Lawrence's page, on the right a WIP that details his MJ12 power armor and shows several shots from all the sides.

Middle left: Walton's page, on the right the image that serves as Lawrence's graduation photo when he turned 18 and made it to the MJ12. They both have this pic on their office desks.

Bottom: A concept for Walton's house, which I imagine to be of Brutalist architecture.

I need to draw Lawrence in casual wear more often. :D (But without that hair shave...)

Doing a few speedpaints feat. Lawrence from pictures of his faceclaim for fun. I will put them all together whenever i'm done.

Brother there's a reason why Walton told him to stop sideshaving (as much as he likes how it looks on him)

There's nothing going on here, that's just an unfortunate crop.

Kind of a symbolic illustration on how Walton sees himself as the "victim" of Lawrence's "malice" rather than himself being the literal problem.

There’s a photo on the desk - on the ebony frame, you can see a small gold plate with a date engraved on it: 28th September 2045. In the picture, you can see a younger Lawrence with his direct superior. You take it from its frame and notice there’s something written behind it:

“28th September 2045. Officially appointed as mister Simons’ assistant!!!”

Right below, another message but with a different calligraphy: “Happy belated 18th Birthday. - W.S.” 

(For those curious, Lawrence’s birthday is on the 21st of September)

Finished two pages of my Deus Ex artbook-inspired illustrations for my story ~ There are quite a lot focused on these two so I’ll compile all the finished work in a single post whenever they’re ready.

Asad Al-Fārūq is the President and CEO of “Rebirth Industries”, a conglomerate of multinationals involved in Pharmaceuticals, Genomics and Genetics. After his father’s premature death due to a rare genetic disease, Asad was approached by the same men who “helped” his father build his fortune: the Illuminati. 

During one of the many reunions of the Council, he met the person who would become his lover and business partner: Bob Page. The two are around the same age but with completely different personalities - Asad is serious, calm and collected, even when angered. He’s genuinely interested in helping people with his research and disapproves of Bob’s hunger for power.

Here he is. The other half of Lawrence’s DNA.  Some more lore (no spoilers edition!)

The Adam clone in the Versalife vault in Mankind Divided is a “gift” from Asad to Bob

He has a PhD in Medical Genetics

I think he’s more of a “well-intentioned extremist” rather than a full on villain like Bob. Asad really thought “I can fix him”

Due to safety reasons, Bob and Asad keep their relationship secret (as much as they can - let’s be honest, they’re… Way too close for anyone to have any doubt). Page actually declared to be married to his behavioral therapist - something Asad pokes fun at him for (”Really, Bobby? Full on violation of ethics between doctor and patient?”)

Subtext? What’s that?  Chapter illustration for my story. I tried to give it the same vibes of the OG game with all the retro stuff.

Some Bob Page based on the King Mala song mentioned (and linked) above. Added symbolism from my Deus Ex lore as well, but you can see this as a simple canon fanart as well. :)

The vibe someone who’s not familliar with my Deus Ex lore should get is that Lawrence and Walton *do* look similar. Is it the clothing? Is it the body language? Is it the same eye color and some other facial features? 💀 Since I plan on having at least one illustration per chapter in my fanfiction, this should be able to tip people on Lawrence’s nature as his half-clone from the very first chapters. :D

Card 1 of 2 for my Deus Ex story I made to illustrate the possible character development path Lawrence (”Agent Judas”) can take according to Reader/JC’s choices.
