This is a fact: Toto’s love for Ron is so obvious that it can move mountains. Apart from Ron, who has become the be-all and end-all of his life, he has another friend, who procured him tickets for Nyon-Nyon’s concert. But other than the friends the two have made along the series (Kawasemi, Chikori, etc.), Toto has only his grandma and Ron really and, yes, probably the cousin who helped them in the latest arc.

It is obvious that the anime fast-track their closeness. Before the start of the Yadagama-sama arc, Ron is already being inclusive, pertaining to Toto not only as a business partner but a very close friend, who’s a frequent visitor at his house. In the manga it took a few chapters (the Murders in the Cruise arc) before they reached the closeness they have in the anime.

I wonder how will the anime composition writer Wataru Watari will do it in the second season with the Plateau Auberge arc.
