My silly theory (I'm aware that it's probably not true) actually has some evidence guys !!!

Basically we now know that both Haymitch and Mr Everdeen used the woods. Lenore dove (Haymitchs gf) was covey and (at least in my opinion) I'm 99% sure so was Mr Everdeen (so Mr Everdeen and Lenore dove were probably related in some capacity or at least viewed each other as related).

So yeah guys my head cannon isn't far fetched what do you mean....

yk how lucy gray goes to dig up katniss? it’s criminal how overlooked her follow up line is in that section:

“I think I’ll go dig up some katniss, since we’ve got the fire going anyway. There’s a good patch by the lake.”

“Two weeks can make a lot of difference.”

The first games took about two weeks. 18 days. By the time Katniss mentions the phase of the moon and deduces she must have been in the arena for two weeks, the games are practically over.

She’s seen death after death, brought Peeta back from the brink of it, too. Two weeks can make a lot of difference. Especially for Katniss.

I’m so interested in how people view the Hunger Games as a love triangle because while rereading gale and katniss’s relationship feels much less like “omg are they gonna get together” and much more like “this is a story about how a close relationship can completely fall apart”

Anyway I'll introduce myself with an unpopular opinion I have on the hunger games!

I don't hate gale 🫣 I just think his environment growing up has pushed him to have his extremist views and jumping at the opportunity of helping president coin instead of questioning her. Reminder gale didn't know what those bombs were being used for!

Although that's not to say I don't dislike him as a character,I just don't like that he gets more hate than president snow and coin.

Anyway I'd love to hear some more unpopular opinions (I love when I see new or different takes on the hunger games)
