I have others but I can't find them right now, I'm so stressed. I have no idea what to do, rent is due so soon and I don't have it, I still need over $400 before the 1st, and because I have to use venmo and instant transfer doesn't work, i don't even know if I can make it....

I hate begging, I hate it so much, I hate doing it more than anyone hates seeing me doing it. I've put in so many applications, I've spent hours job hunting online, I've spent hours trying and trying and trying.

I'm not doing well, my aunt is dying and the emotional toll it's taking on me is unbearable, Not only am I heartbroken about her being so sick, I'm stuck in the middle of very confusing shit because she keeps wanting to go back to her house but she can't, she's too sick, she doesn't understand she's not going home, watching her go through this and her thinking that her family hates her and is keeping her there is heartbreaking...

On top of that I've been struggling so much with traumatic flashbacks, the anniversary of my abusers death was this month and it's painful and horrible and I feel sick.

My mental and physical health has gone down hill due to this stress, I need help, I can't be unhoused. I will not be able to survive.

Thinking about Gurathin visibly revising his opinion of Murderbot when he realizes it's positioned them to kill GrayCris. It is no longer too good to be true, it is no longer 'pretending' to be less dangerous than it is, it is no longer professing honesty. It did lie, it is dangerous, and it is going to murder.

And like any pessimist, this comforts Gurathin. He didn't want Murderbot to lie about their odds (unlike Pin-Lee, who just moments ago was practically begging to be lied to). He thought Murderbot's plan was too good to be true, too dangerous, he clearly felt that it was lying - and then it was! He was right!

And he turns on a dime. He's the one who realizes what it's doing first, he doesn't protest that it's wrong - he understands. He knows what companies like this are like. He knows there will be no negotiating, no pleas for mercy. They are a threat to GrayCris's profits and threats must be eliminated.

And him making sure to give Murderbot the exact time to launch. Because he knows that is the only way Murderbot's getting out of this alive. And now he believes, regardless of Murderbot's internal motivations, that it is going to do everything it can to get them out of there, and he's going to pay that back as best as he can.

Yup! It's now called THE BURN LINE, after some discussions with the company publishing it in North America.

It's set during the UK heatwave of 2022, as five people - a hotel receptionist, a civil servant, a train driver, an investment analyst and and unhoused youth - encounter something terrible on the London Underground that they can't seem to remember, but that leads them deep into the horrors the sit in the heart of the city.

Sent the copyedits off last month, and I believe the current plan is for it to come out mid-2026, but watch this space for updates!

Saw a post a while ago wondering about how the show would look without Murderbot's internal narration and decided to try my hand.

Mostly I just seperated the vocals and background track and cut out the vocals whenever MB was narrating. Then I did a little bit of trimming and rearrainging to cover up some of the longer close ups that stood out with the removed VO.
