More random stuff (Rising Charcoal AU), nothing special, but if I only posted perfection I would not post anything at all

I haven't brought it up much because Eternal Sugar's OLD design is the only fully colored character, but me using pink for Elder Faerie in some art is because his non-outfit color palette is mostly pink now, not some other reason. Why/how is he pink now? Secret until a reveal far from today (most definitely far).

A little bit of ranting below

I need to draw more Elder Faerie suffering, but I can't reveal anything about what's actually going on until I actually begin telling the story and reveal where the hell he's been that isn't the afterlife.

You can probably already guess if you really wanted to? Or probably atleast before I do reveal what's going on in his silly little life. I feel like it's pretty obvious, but also might just because I KNOW so ofcourse it feels obvious. Plus, I know all the little hints I have/am going to put in art and stuff.

If I ever get there. I love this project, but I have no guarantee I will be able to pull myself together enough to feel confident making the story in my head a story on the internet.

If I do get to the reveal, expect a spike in posts about all of the stuff I made pre-reveal in the following posts because like.

I hurt him because he is my favorite I swear.

Then I gave him Silent Salt so they could be best friends, see? I do treat him well!

(also I have accepted that Rising Charcoal Silent Salt and Canon Silent Salt will just be completely different. Eternal Sugar can easily be changed to fit more with canon, but I think it's too late for me to completely switch up Silent Salt here. Will try to make them match though.)

Ok I don't want to rant (rare) so I'm just gonna summarize

1. Rising Charcoal AU isn't dead

2. I've just been drawing Cehald Korin (original project) so that's why I haven't been posting (I'll post Cehald Korin eventually probably maybe)

3. Plan for posting miscellaneous Rising Charcoal AU art is to do "art-dump" at the end of the week. If there's not enough good art, there won't be a post that week (I will not follow this schedule)

Anyway take the art. Not anything great, but it's here.

Okay um posting more so to confirm more shit about the AU production than yap about the AU details

Rising Charcoal is in no way dead- although Dandy's World brainrot definitely made me switch over to drawing it more for a little- it's just that most of the ideas I've been having are:

So I haven't had much to post

I am thinking about prioritizing making a proper Google Doc then upgrading the masterpost before resuming posting properly

I tried to draw some more stuff to put in this post, but this is all I got that I'm willing to show

The Ovenbreak Dragons might get included now, just be aware that if they are, they will probably be varying amounts of different to canon because I don't play Ovenbreak so I don't know everything about them (I'll start doing more research once I have decided for sure if I want them in the AU)

Planning on working on a proper Longan Dragon design before making a post about them, cause their potential is the main reason I'm going towards including the other dragons (although they will probably end up the most OOC)

Not gonna tag for COB since this is still a CRK AU

Working on stuff for the ancients (some of which I am willing to post) and have been switching on and off trying to make a few legendary designs (including changing Sea Fairy's), so maybe I'll be able to post some of that???

Chance I might give the Legendaries new names, but no one else will get the same treatment (well, with one exception, but one name was in the past while another will be in the future)

Also I still haven't figured out what I'm doing with Shadow Milk- Smilk update please give me more ideas

Mfers put up with dumbassery to get to their favorite creation going anime and I'll be damned if I'm not one. All I have to decide is who the hell he's working with and against what

Flipping between allying with the Creme Republic, Parfeadia, both, and an assortment of story-potential having epics (Pastry leaving the order, Twizzly getting trapped in this hell of a timeline, others I have to think of). Each come with their own funny problems to think about

Urbanshade Researcher, Specializes in Magical Items. Specifically the items you could expect to find in a medieval fantasy world, specifically...

Necrobloxicon is on hand at all times, even snuck one out onto the surface (they are fairly high ranking, so they were able to use some exclusive stuff to their advantage. A couple people might know, but Rose probably hooked them up with free necrobloxicons if they kept quiet).

Eyes' dark scleras and markings were caused by extended use of the necrobloxicon (they do change colors just like the necrobloxicon, but Rose keeps them red outside of special occasions). Exact cause or way to replicate it is unknown, all they know is that it was caused by the necrobloxicon's power. It doesn't seem harmful- atleast for now.

As hinted at previously, she is willing to get people necrobloxicons if they don't have access to them already. However, it will come at a price for anyone who isn't her friend. Thing is, she has no problem with people getting close to her just to get access necrobloxicons- she understands that whoever is going on dangerous missions will want whatever they can get. So her bar for being considered her friend doesn't immediately cross out anyone only being nice to get the necrobloxicon.

Has more control over the necrobloxicons than others it seems. Can and will levitate the cube fast enough and accurately enough to smack you with it.

Rarely goes on missions herself, but she is not all that bad if she does. She survives at least.

Basically, she's based on the necrobloxicon.

Anyway, back to Cookie-posting.

Didn't finish because I got home and I would not be an honest Gendervoid if I finished Smoked Cheese not in a bumpy car. Didn't have enough time to think about her outfit so the goggles look so out of place. Might make her pre-disappearence design to celebrate Chapter 6. Then Dark Cacao can be Chapter 8 I guess because I do not have to design Pure Vanilla for this AU
