Hey supers!

Been out as superstraight for months, and I have filled out my sexuality in every survey and form as "superstraight" only once did I get crap 😅 How's it going for all the other supers out there? It can be hard when people make way more superphobe blogs and stuff than there are actual s+ posts on this platform. It's so silly because if you are a real super you know that your existence isn't hurting anyone else. If you don't, then you should. Don't ever let anyone make you feel guilty for being superstraight. I’ve been too busy to make content lately ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyone heard of the guy who got in trouble for not doing a porn scene with a lady who he found out was a transgender woman? Something about she’s trying to report a hate crime because the man doesn’t want to have sex with someone who has a penis. Yikes. I found a few tabloid articles on it, but I’m having a hard time finding anything else because uh... the search results that come up with this topic are less than useful and I don’t want to scroll past that sort of thing. It sounds like every article and comment section was painting the guy as horrible and transphobic though, which is really disappointing and shows that S+ rights have a long way to go. 😑 I came out to my friend as superstraight a few weeks ago! She was concerned but eventually she understood that there are a lot of misconceptions against S+. When the S+ movement started, there were a bunch of “memers” that desperately tried to cling to the movement and then left in anger that we were respecting pronouns, telling Nazis to fuck off, and in general not being a toxic 4chan raid like they were lead to believe. Which was easy, since we came from tiktok long before people on 4chan had ever heard of superstraight and attempted to co-opt it. I’m still here and talk to my superhomies every day, the memers have left us alone, and the haters just don’t understand yet Maybe one day the world will understand what superstraight is really about.

When you call S+ people Nazis...

It is an absolute disrespect to the people who have suffered and died at the hands of the Nazis. Imagine this, you time travel to 1940s Germany and prove you are a time traveler to some ordinary people there. Many people are living in absolute fear of the government and you talk to someone and find out that the family next door got hauled away never to be seen again. They ask you "will we ever be free of Nazis?" You answer: "No. We still have a Nazi problem in 2021" "Nein! That's horrifying! What are they doing in your time?" "They are calling themselves superstraight 😠" "...Hä?" "...so is this a political group? Are they taking people away?" "No they say they don't want to exclude transgender people from their sexuality and I saw people take pictures from a... um... a fancy personal television mail Nazi communication center where people claimed to be supporting superstraight people." "..." "It's anonymous communication hub thing but I'm pretty sure it means all superstraight people hate Nazis." "..." "Look they even have the initials "SS" which proves they are all Nazis. "A lot of people have those initials." "Yeah well, they are Nazis though and I wish I could beat them all up." "...I just want to know if I will ever see the family next door again, or the smile on their children's faces. I want to know if there will be food in two years to feed my family with. I want to not see people die in war." The time traveler then proceeds to attempt to kill Hitler which according to time travel law, only makes things worse. As someone has read about Nazi atrocities it absolutely makes me angry to be called a Nazi and othered in this way for my sexual orientation. Like I said, absolute disrespect towards those who died at the hands of the Nazis and it also comes with a ridiculous desperation to other S+ people. If you are threatened by people having sexual boundaries, and defining their sexuality themselves to reflect this, to the point that it makes you angry and violent, then you are a control freak of a rapey incel. No means no. Supersexual people do not have to explain and justify the depths of their reasoning for their supersexuality like they are presenting a thesis and you are the judges trying to poke holes in it. Superphobes, you are not the attraction police. You are not the CEO of sexuality. If you think supersexuality is bad because it "invalidates trans people" you need to realize that none of us signed up to be anyone's personal therapist. Validation begins on the inside, I use people's requested pronouns but I'm not going to sit here and pretend like I could be attracted to someone, just so there's an illusion of open possibility to make someone feel better.

That's wrong. And for vulnerable supersexuals that's dangerous because it erodes their boundaries.

S+ is not about "genital preferences". S+ is not about being transphobic. S+ is certainly not about Nazi ideology. S+ is about being your authentic self with no apology or compromises. Even if no one understands it. Even if someone tries to move goal posts and "what if" guilt trip you all day. Even if people intentionally misunderstand you and try to other you as being some type of evil. That's all my fellow supers. 🖤🧡

Since I’m not a rapey incel, I don’t get mad when someone says “nobody wants to have sex with you”. It does not negatively affect my self worth in any way. A lot of people use that as an outright insult and I can’t help but think “why? Why is that an insult?”. It says far more about the insulter than the target. In some cases variants of that dig are very inconsiderate of ace people who don’t do sex or relationships because it perpetuates societal standards of self worth around sex that is harmful to some aces, but that’s a whole tangent. I don’t know if trans people are “the most oppressed people on earth”, that title might go to someone being literally tortured and raped in a Chinese prison or concentration camp right now, but I get what you’re saying with that. I’m not calling trans people a bunch of pedophiles and rapists. That would be ridiculous and hyperbolic, just like it’s hyperbolic and intentionally dishonest to say that supersexuals people all think this. Many superphobes however, have disturbingly incel tendencies (don’t worry I mean incel as a gender neutral term, anyone can think like an incel) to where they think they are entitled to people’s attraction, and are trying to use shame, crying, and intimidation to make sure everyone says they are open to dating trans people. Not to use a cliche word here-- ok nvm I’ll use it: This is just all the way problematic. What supersexuals want is for their sexuality to be respected without people calling them names and accusing them of things because of the natrual boundaries of their attraction. Ps: I don’t know what calling people pedophiles has to do in the context of supersexualites.
