Rich: I guess that's one thing I'm not looking forward to, but I'll get through it somehow. It used to get pretty hot during summers in Bristol as well. Maybe you should film one sometime then? Could be cool. Alright, I'll help when I'm back. Sounds like a deal.

Emory: You'll be fine, they will have water and air conditioned trailers for you. I'm terrified of the dark, shooting a horror film would scare me. Thank you, I'll welcome you back if you want, I'll also see you off.

Rich: Huh, sounds familiar. Except we were forced to come here by our school, which is quite honestly even weirder. Right, it's practically blazing out here. Can't believe some people deal with this year round. That sounds like the plot of some really cliche horror film or something. Exactly, must be a pain searching everywhere. I'll do my best if you need me to.

Emory: Yea, it is weirder. I dealt with it all year round until Plus 3 started, it gets this hot in Cali. It really does sound like a horror film. It does, and I may need some help, but maybe when you get back.

Rich: Really? That's cool, have you gotten to spend much time with him around the parks and all that? And literally no one has recognized you yet? Proves how amazing your disguise is, I suppose. Ah very nice, well hopefully that won't be necessary then. Oh...well, let me know if you need help finding it. I'm sure it can't be that hard, right?

Emory: He just got here and if memory serves me right he's not one to want to actually go to Disney let alone be here. He was probably forced to come here by his parents. No one, not even him and it's not like I'm actually disguising myself either; it's just too damn hot to wear black when I don't have to. It blends into the wall and I haven't found it. My mom told me that when I find it, simply push but to me that's common sense. It's in all the movies, they push to open the secret passage or say a password. I don't think it's too hard, probably more time consuming than anything. I may need some help finding it to be honest.

Rich sighed in relief at the sight of Emory, smiling at her warmly. “Spoiler alert, wasn’t my dad, it was Meyers from the video company. Just finalizing some details and questions I had about the process. Can’t wait to get started on it.”

Emory giggled when Rich told her the spoiler alert. “Did he tell you when you’ll get started on it?” she asked a bit excitedly, she was overall happy for him and she knew it’ll give him time to clear his head and focus on something different.

Upon hearing the girl speak, Declan had almost forgotten how much she could talk, at least around him. Esmeralda had never been the most outgoing person, but the two seemed to have always been fairly comfortable around one another. “You know you’re always welcome to come to ours. Father is never home anyways and even if he was I doubt he’d  noticed if another person was in our mansion.” The words escaped his mouth in almost a nonchalant tone as the young man slightly threw his hand forward before proceeding to speak. “You look different” Declan said as his smile stayed present across his facial features while his eyes wandered the girl’s face.“Normal? I’m taking it that no one here knows your secret?”Declan asked as the rim of his lips curved into a smile. “Now what will I get if I keep this just between us?”His left eyebrow arched slightly while tilting his collar downward. “That’s pretty awesome,we get to graduate together.”Upon hearing the question leave her lips, Declan’ curved his neck away as a laugh fell from his throat. “ I think both is appropriate to say”  

Em smiled when Declan invited her to stay at his. She knew he’d keep her safe, they were comfortable together. “I’ll take you up on that offer.” she smiled at him. A small giggle fell from her mouth as he mentioned her looking different. “Too hot for dark colors.” she shrugged really not wanting to wear black in the heat, though she did have on less clothing. “Not everyone knows. A few do.” she admitted and watched as his eyebrow arched, she knew he had something up his sleeve. “Depends on what you want, though I wouldn’t care if it got out. It would explain everything more, I just can’t tell everyone because of a promise I made to my parents and the principal.” she stated honestly. “It is awesome, we’ll have to do something big.” she smiled widely.

Confusion filled Declan’s mind as he heard the question fall from the girl’s lips. “ She’s as good as you can be with a diplomat as a husband.” The harshness was evident in Declan’s tone. He had never been close to his father, in fact, both of his parents were mere strangers to him. Suddenly, Declan’s eyes watched the girl  lean into his ear singing  Sweet child of Mine. Immediately the corner of his lips  curled into  a smile as his eyes shifted to the side, glancing at the girl in surprise. “Esmeralda?”

“I’ll let my mom know, she’s currently in Canada and at my house for a few days. It’ll be mine again when I get back and yes I’m still terrified of the dark.” she spoke knowing that he’s probably never been to her mansion or even suspect she’d live on her own due to her immense fear of the dark. Emory’s smile grew as Declan recognized her. “The one and only. My parents don’t want me home schooled, they want me to have a normal life so they sent me here. I now go by Emory, Em, or Um. And apparently I’m the only 16 year-old-senior.” she said feeling as though he’d probably ask the singer why she was there even though she knew she never really talked this much, she was just excited to see him. “So did you get kicked out from your old school or did your parents decide to move you too?”

Rich: Oh yeah, I guess I sort of got used to you /not/ being recognized...I can only imagine how crazy in must get in California. You're better off in Toronto, then. At least for now. That makes perfect sense, and I'm glad you're starting to feel a bit better.

Emory: That's ok and an old friend is here. I don't think he's used to me not being recognized. It does get crazy like I talked to a fan since I'm dressed in a disguise now, but I saw a few people walk around in shirts with the Plus 3 logo on it. But even here if people recognize me Disney will just give me a cast member escort, I asked. Thank you, she was supposed to move in with me here in Toronto... my birthday present is her room, I didn't open it or find it yet. My mom said that there's some secret passage way leading to the other half of the house(I was wondering why it looks longer from the side) and it's still hidden.

Rich: Oh, right...don't want to bring back any memories or anything like that too soon, perfectly understandable. Well, I'll send photos or whatever, I'm sure it'll be a fun process. I'm pretty excited to see how this video turns out and how the entire process works.

Emory: I don't mind going, it's just that I'll be recognized. I can't hide there nor will I be able to be around you because of the paparazzi. I kind of welcome the memories, they're now bittersweet, but make me happy.

I ended up going to a Pandora store in Disney Springs even though I know I’d never wear it. I ended up buying the bracelet and a bunch of charms. I currently have it on, but I’m not sure how I feel about it. I made it to remember Christina, the angel wing charm is because she’s now an angel, all the in between one are to record everything that we’ve done together. 

I think I’m getting somewhat better, I still look to the clouds for guidance and close my eyes simply because I can see her. I don’t ever think the whole she left will fully close and I don’t want it to.

Rich: Awesome, that would be fantastic. I'm surprised they didn't ask you to participate as well; were you invited to go along to California?

Emory: I was invited to go, but for different reasons. Rob is there and he's still worried about me even with talking to him on the phone. I kindly declined the offer and decided to stay and not think too much.

“Yes being a Coyne has it benefits” The words fell from Declan’s lips as the right rim of his mouth curled into a smirk with  his eyes falling down to the girl. Her features were pleasant to look at. “Emory Rae, intriguing.I’m Declan. The pleasure is all mine.”

“How’s your mom by the way? My mom asked if I had ran into you yet. I just didn’t recognize you.” She asked curiously knowing her outfit was entirely different due to being at Disney. She had leaned in close to his ear. “Sweet child of mine.” she sang knowing that the last time she saw Declan and his mom was when his mom asked her to sing for a party and that was the requested song.

Emory smiled when she walked into rich. “Tell me, where are they shipping you off to?” she asked curiously.

Rich had managed to find a seemingly vacant spot near the elevator, glad to escape the noise of the hotel hallways to speak on the phone with the music video casting director. “The desert where Coachella is hosted? Yeah that sounds phenomenal,” he spoke into the receiver, when suddenly he noticed a shadow behind him. “Er, I’ve got to go, thanks sir - Dad - I mean Dad,” he covered quickly, instantly becoming nervous. As he hung up, he turned around. “Can I help you with something?”
