Kamri’s Book Corner <3
Bone Gap. A place where the cornstalks whisper tales of murderers and horses prance down waterfalls. This book is full of magical realism but connects back to reality in a startling way. It’s one of my all time favorites, and as you read it, there are so many questions you need to have answered. I couldn’t put it down.

things to do while stuck in your house:
- Read! read whatever it is that you keep saying you will.
- Spend time outside! the world may seem bleak at the moment, but now we have time to enjoy the sun. Exercise. Ride your bike. Have a picnic.
- Communicate! This may seem like the opposite of what you can do. “Social distancing” looms over us, but is there anyone you miss talking to? Anyone who you might want to just say hello to? Think about it. Give them a call.
- Get off your phone! This cursed virus has given us one precious thing: time. What will you do with it? Will you write a novel? Will you mend relationships? Will you learn a new language? It’s up to you.
This whole crisis happening in the world may seem detrimental. But it doesn’t have to be. Use what you’ve been given and stop worrying about what’s been taken. And hang in there. It’s temporary :)
