I've been preparing a fanfic for the final day of Rivetra Week 2024, which was yesterday, but I failed to complete it in time. Oops. My strike is broken. 🤣🤣

I would have loved to post it yesterday and be on time -- PLUS November 3rd was the anniversary of one year after the anime's ending. An important date! But I decided the fic wasn't ready yet. Currently, it's undergoing heavy editing, and it'll hopefully come out soon!

And then I'll focus again on "Threads of duty", my long ongoing fic.

Let's face it: the Rivetra fandom is not what it used to be. The ✨️ "glory days" ✨️ are over.

Levi and Petra, unfortunately, were never a popular ship compared to other couples from the series. 😥 And now that the anime has ended (almost a year ago, can you believe it???!! 🤯), the popularity of Rivetra begins to fade.

🚨HOWEVER!!!🚨

Some of us are still here! 🙋‍♀️ And it doesn't matter if your fics get hundreds of kudos 💯 or barely any. You write FIRST AND FOREMOST for yourself!

If you enjoy this pairing, don't worry about the views 👀 you'll get. I get it, it's rewarding to receive positive feedback and words of praise. 📈 But at the end of the day, you don't create to please others.

And I promise you, there is always someone out there who will want to read your fic, or admire your art, even if your ship is relatively unknown!

Moreover, your works may not rise to fame instantly, but who knows? Perhaps in the future -close or distant- someone may discover them and get OBSESSED! 😲

Don't get discouraged! 🚫 Don't engage only in popular fandoms! 🙅‍♀️Trends come and go, but if you connect to certain characters, it's something deep and lasting. 🧡🖤

Whatever it is, we get it! Making time for a fictional couple isn't high on your priorities.

With great responsibilities, comes zero time for the things you love.

So, if you're anxious about finishing your entry in time for Rivetra Week, please don't be! 🙏 We all have our own timing.

In case anyone wonders about my fanfiction "Threads of Duty", I took a break from it so I can prepare fics for the Rivetra week from October 27th until November 3rd. Sorry to keep you waiting! I really really want to continue it, and I am very excited about the upcoming chapters!

However, I wanted to focus on other rivetra projects as well, and balancing everything would be impossible.
