New chapter in time for Petra's birthday!! 🎂🎁🎈🎉

It brings me so much joy to see so many artists and fans celebrating her, that I just had to post a new chapter today. Also, I remember posting a chapter of this same fanfic exactly one year ago, on Petra's birthday again. It was chapter 3 last year, and now it's chapter 27! 🤯 I can't believe how far we've gone, almost 150k words, and there's still so many more to come!

I've been preparing a fanfic for the final day of Rivetra Week 2024, which was yesterday, but I failed to complete it in time. Oops. My strike is broken. 🤣🤣

I would have loved to post it yesterday and be on time -- PLUS November 3rd was the anniversary of one year after the anime's ending. An important date! But I decided the fic wasn't ready yet. Currently, it's undergoing heavy editing, and it'll hopefully come out soon!

And then I'll focus again on "Threads of duty", my long ongoing fic.

Let's face it: the Rivetra fandom is not what it used to be. The ✨️ "glory days" ✨️ are over.

Levi and Petra, unfortunately, were never a popular ship compared to other couples from the series. 😥 And now that the anime has ended (almost a year ago, can you believe it???!! 🤯), the popularity of Rivetra begins to fade.

🚨HOWEVER!!!🚨

Some of us are still here! 🙋‍♀️ And it doesn't matter if your fics get hundreds of kudos 💯 or barely any. You write FIRST AND FOREMOST for yourself!

If you enjoy this pairing, don't worry about the views 👀 you'll get. I get it, it's rewarding to receive positive feedback and words of praise. 📈 But at the end of the day, you don't create to please others.

And I promise you, there is always someone out there who will want to read your fic, or admire your art, even if your ship is relatively unknown!

Moreover, your works may not rise to fame instantly, but who knows? Perhaps in the future -close or distant- someone may discover them and get OBSESSED! 😲
