Last 6 weeks haven’t been all that great and I’ll admit, I withdrew from a lot of things because my life imploded. So I have lost a lot of motivation in the last 4 months. Coming to the gym was a chore, I wasn’t enjoying it, things personally weren’t going great, a lot of pep talks, a lot of taking things day-by-day and so on. I can say now that slowly, day-by-day, things are improving and I’m starting to find my love for the gym again. I put on 3kgs after pulling out of season A and a lot of the negativity was from that. I felt like a failure, like a joke and just not in a good space. It’s taken me a loonnggggggggg time to accept that it’s ok. My body is fine and I’m starting to love the 🍑and the extras that come with it. I’ve stopped being so hard on myself and actually loving that I’m filling things out a bit more. I’ve decided to compete again but not until Season B 2021. Off season is going to get me some good gains and in 2 years, I should see some growth!
