A Raven Among Crows: Pt 11
You’re a woman disguised as a man at The Wall, but no one knows.
Part Eight Part Nine Part ten
(Y/N)= Your Name
(Y/L/N)= Your Last Name
Warning: Horrible words, death and violence
You reach the top of the wall and see Jon Snow’s black cloak flow in the icy wind before he reached the woods, gone.
“Reinforcements are coming,” a voice behind you said.
You turn to see Edd. He smiled, bruised face and all. You smiled back, feeling happy to seeing a familiar face.
“I see you’re the last ones alive, Edd,” you replied.
He comes and stands next to you with a sign. “Grenn talked about you a lot. And I mean, way too damn much”. He chuckled, “But, he was never going to have you, was he?”
You hesitated for a moment, “That, I don’t know. It wouldn’t make any sense for us to be together. In Castle Black? If I were to become pregnant? If I died, if he died. If our brothers touched me, would he still be there?”
Edd didn’t reply but look down at the Wall, weeping.
“I loved Grenn, I loved him like a brother and I wish I could’ve done more for him... Same with Pyp,” you sniffled. “I wanted to do more for them”. You broke down, clutch your knees to your chest as Edd crouched with you. He didn’t say anything, but just hold you. You weeped into his leathers as the sound squealed.
He whipped your tear away and made you look at him, “What about that big fellow with all those arrows in him? Do you plan on seeing him?”
A chill is sent down your spine, “No... I-I don’t know,” you said. “I want to, but I know he is the reason for this. For Pyp, for Grenn and everyone else... I don’t even know where he’s locked up.”
Edd made you stand and tucked the loose strains of hair behind your ear and kissed your cheek. “There’s guards there, good men who will listen to you. Every brother here knows of your strength and how well you fight, they will protect you - besides, that big ol ginger is locked pretty tightly in chains. He won’t harm you,” Edd said.
* * *
It took a bit, mid afternoon to finally get the courage, the hall is dark and damp with only a few torches lighting the way. Two men dressed in black look and nod.
“is he in there?” you asked.
“Yeah, he’s been very aggressive - we’ll stand guard just incase. Yell if you need anything,” one of them replied.
You entered, his eyes lighten up but then he looks down. “Tormund,” you whispered.
Silence, nothing from him - not even his own breathing you could hear.
“Do you wish to kill me?” you asked.
Nothing, nothing came out of him. But, something was arising inside of you, anger. Anger as Grenn’s and Pyp’s face flashed in your mind. You kicked him in his leg, you kicked him hard.
“Answer me!” you yelled.
“Yes,” he replied. He looked up at you, your bruised and bloody face. Tormund notices the bruise around your neck, a bruise given by him. “Did I do that to ya?”
“What?” you asked as you touched your neck. “This? Oh, you mean when you grabbed me by the throat and lifted my body off the ground? Yes! Yes, you gave this to me!”
He stood up and lunged towards you but you backed up and your back is against the wall, you put on a poker face. “I’ll ask again, do you wish you had killed me?”
He sobbed, on his knees - he sobbed. “Yes, a thousand times yes. Killing you would be better than feeling your disappointing eyes on me. I love you, I love you so much,” he said.
“I told you not to do this, I told you not to attack the Wall and look what it cost you!” He remained silent, once again. You spit in his direction, anger and frustration mixed with sadness. “I don’t want to be yours anymore,” you said.
He looked up, tears already flooding his eyes. “No,” he whispered, some what of a plead to you.
“Goodbye, Tormund,” you said, exiting the room.
“(Y/N!) (Y/N)! Get back here! (Y/N)!!!” he roared.
A sting aches your heart and guards closed the door.
* * *
“They came to us from White Harbor and Barrowton, form Fairmarket and King’s Landing, from North and South, from East and West,” Measter Aemon said softly.
You’re gathered around your brothers, your other brother’s piled next to each other - for you all to burn. You look, to see Grenn’s face, gray and pale and then Pyp’s small face, asleep. You cried a bit by yourself, next to you is Olly, Jon and Edd.
“They died protecting men, woman and children who will never know their names. It is for us to remember them. Our brothers, we shall never see their like again,” Aemon ended the speech.
In unison, a pause and then, “And now their watch is ended,” everyone said.
“And now their watch is ended,” Aemon said one last time.
You looked around, puffy eyes and all to see Stannis Baratheon and his family, standing on the ramparts. You heard while you were with Tormund that they came and taken the rest of Mance’s army. You see how cold Stannis looks but his daughter looks soft and sweet. But what gave you chills, The Red Woman standing near by. Her sly smile with her hands cupped together.
Aemon walked over with a bit of help from Sam and he lit all the bodies on fire and handed the torch to Jon Snow to finish, then handed it to you - you watched as you burn your friend’s body, handing it to Edd and it moved on to the next.
You notice Jon Snow’s eyes wondering around to see the Baratheon family, you cupped his hand into yours. “Don’t stare too much,” you whispered.
Jon looked back and grasped your hand harder. “Who is that?” he asked.
Through the wild flames you see her, once again. The Red Woman. “That’s The Red Woman, a priestess or some say - a witch. Be carful of her, okay?”
Later in the day, Jon asked you to accompany him to see Tormund again. You were reluctant but deiced to go in order to show Tormund you didn’t care. You entered a different room, with him having more Wildling men in the room and he looks healed.
“Your old blind man patched me up,” Tormund said as you and Jon entered the room. “Why?”
“He’s sworn to treat all wounded men, friend or foe,” Jon said.
“You want me alive so you and (Y/N) can torture me?” he asked.
“No one is going to torture you,” Jon replied.
“So how do we die? Hanging, beheading? Drop us from the top of the Wall? Shit, I rather have that than you and (Y/N) torture me by fucking in front of--”
“I don’t know what happens to the prisoners,” Jon interrupts.
“Who decides?”
“I suppose, Stannis does,” you said. Tormund eyes focused on you, again you gave a poker face and his eyes looked back at Jon.
“He your King now?” Tormund asked.
“We don’t have a King,” Jon replied.
Tormund hesitated, “You two spent too much time with us, Jon Snow and (Y/N),” he said. “You two can never be a kneeler again.”
“We’re going to burn the bodies of your dead. Do you want to say any words over them?”
“Words? What kind of words?”
“Funeral words. I don’t know how the Free Folk do it.”
“Do what?”
“Say farewell,” you said.
“The dead can’t hear us, girl.”
You and Jon looked at each other, nodded your heads and decided to walk out. In the middle of you walking out, Tormund called out. “Snow, (Y/N),” he said. You and Jon turned. “Did you love her?” he asked. There hesitation in Jon’s face. “She loved you.”
“She told you?” Jon asked.
“No, all she ever talked about was killing you. That’s how I know,” Tormund said. Jon’s face turns sour and you gripped his shoulder, comforting him. “She belongs in the North. The real North. You understand me?”
Jon removed your hand, looked at you and walked out. You sighed and getting prepared to leave as well.
“I would’ve done the same for you,” he said.
You paused, looked back and press your hands together. “I loved Ygritte. She was my sister and I know what Jon will do is right,” you replied.
“You always speak so highly of him, do you love him?”
Your hair stands on the back of your neck. “Only as a brother.”
“Lies, you want him. Want him inside you!”
“Tormund, don’t do this.”
“Tell me the truth, (Y/N)!”
Tears sting the corner of your eyes, you clenched your fists and kneeled down to his eyes level, he’s taken back by your swiftness and his eyes flutter. You gripped him by his collar and pull him into an aggressive kiss. He hesitates, then kisses you back, fire builds inside of your stomach. You wanted to mount him, to be with him - to be one with him.
You pulled back quickly and he lingers a bit, to keep tasting you.
“Why don’t you get it!? Don’t you understand that my feelings towards you haven’t changed? What I am upset is that you decided to hurt me, hurt my friends, hurt your own men! For what? For what, Tormund!” you just screamed.
You didn’t want to lash out anymore, before he could even respond you quickly turn your heel and run out of the room. Tears flowing down your cheeks as you quickly move past all of the new men in Castle Black, Stannis’ men and the left over men you guys had.
Then, you ran into someone. You bumped and taken a step back. “Ah, I am so sorry-” you said and then you looked up. Stannis Baratheon.
“Ah, I am sorry my lord,” you repeated while bowing your head in respect.
“It’s your Grace and I didn’t know they allowed woman here at the Wall?” he asked.
“Ah, I’m sorry... your Grace. And ah well they didn’t. I was sworn in as a brother at first and the-”
“So you’re a liar?” he interrupted.
“W-Well... I guess so,” you said while you looked down.
“A liar deserves punishment, but i’ve heard tales about you by other men and by my Red Priestess that you’re a fighter,” he said.
“I gotten my fair share of punishments, beaten and others,” you said.
“Ah, okay. I hope to see you soon again, ah what was your name?”
“(Y/N), (Y/N) (Y/L/N),” you said.
“Beautiful, beautiful,” he said. “And where are you from?”
“The Dreadfort, your Grace.”
“So, you know the lords?”
“Sadly,” you replied.
“Good,” he said as he patted your shoulder and moved on. His eyes squinted and walked off.
You felt as if you are being watched, your eyes turned to the ramparts to see The Red Woman staring at you, she smiled at you. You smiled back and waved softly. You turned away and walked back to your room.
* * *
Noise of grunting and shouting woke you up in the early morning. You gotten up and changed into new leathers, you kept your hair down and moved it to the side. You tried you best to flatten your breasts, but to no success. You’re far too bruised to try to keep them down. You just left with sword and dagger to the side.
You walked to see Olly and Jon going at it, practicing. Jon and Olly exchange words as they fight. Jon knocks Olly down but then he helps him up, tussles the top of his hair and they move on. You walked down, seeing men as they give you a sign of respect. You sit by Gilly and Sam. You see Thorne and Slynt walk past you three.
“These men need a firm hand,” Thorne said. “Always have. They’re poachers, and thieves.” He stopped to look at you and Gilly. “Not soldiers.”
They moved on and walked away.
“That one hates me,” Gilly said.
“He hates me too,” you replied. “You get used to the sneers his fat face can make.” It made her giggle, you giggled too and then kissed the top of her head.
“If Ser Alliser is chosen as the new Lord Commander... he hates the Wildlings,” Sam said. “All the Wildlings.”
You shivered a bit, still thinking of Tormund. He could kill him if he wanted to, Thorne could take you and you couldn’t say a damn thing.
“Don’t let them send us away,” Gilly snapped.
“It’s not a sure thing,” Sam replied. “Ser Denys Mallister has commanded the Shadow Tower for 20 years and people say he’s a good man. He’s running against Ser Alliser--”
“Sam!” you yelled. He looked at you then looked at Gilly.
“Don’t let them send us away,” she repeated.
“I told you, wherever you go, I go too.”
“You can’t leave, they’ll execute you,” she said.
“Yeah, Sam? Where are you going with this?” you asked.
“Ah... nothing,” he replied. You side hugged him and then walked to the crowd of men looking at Jon and Olly, still going at it.
“Good, good! Pivot, don’t forget to pivot!” Jon yelled over the noise of Olly’s sword hitting down on the shield.
“Yah!” Olly yelled.
“Come on, Olly! You can do it!” you yelled, cheering him on.
But then, Olly stopped. You all turned to see The Red Woman, waiting for Jon.
“The King wants a word,” she said softly with a coy smile. Jon looks at you, hands you the shield and leaves everyone. “No wait, Stannis wants her too.”
You looked to Olly and handed the shield to him and nodded your head.
The clanking of the chains as the elevator lifted, everything was still as the wind blew, you stood right the opposite side of Jon, the Red Woman in the middle. She kept staring at him. Jon looked you and then looked at her for a moment.
“You’re not cold, my lady?” he asked.
“Never,” she replied. “The Lord’s fire lives within me, Jon Snow. Feel.” She lifted his hand, takes off his glove and she makes him gently touch her face. She turns to you and does the same.
She was warm, super warm. You were taken back and she smiled, you Jon put back on your gloves as you exchange looks.
“Are you two, virgins?” she asked. You and Jon both breathed in softly.
“No,” Jon replied.
She turns to you, for your answer.
“No,” you said softly.
“Good,” she said with a smile.
The elevator rose to the top of the Wall, where Stannis was. You were a bit nervous to say the least. Men still scared you, especially higher born men. You walked out of the elevator onto the ice and walked to where Stannis is with an older man next to him.
“Your Grace!” The Red Woman called out. “The bastard of Winterfell and the girl from the Dreadfort.”
You and Jon both kneel with your hands lowered, Stannis motioned for you both to stand, as you did.
“You know who rules Winterfell now?” he asked.
Jon looked at you, as if to get you ready for his answer, he turns back to Stannis. “Roose Bolton,” he said.
A chill is sent down your spine as you close your eyes, Stannis and everyone else takes notice.
“Hmm, the traitor who plunged a dagger into Robb Stark’s heart. Don’t you want to avenge him? Also seems like your friend doesn’t have a kind relation with the Boltons, is that correct?”
You nodded your head and looked to Jon for answers. Jon licked his lips. “I want a great many things, your Grace. But we are sworn brothers of the Night’s Watch now.”
“I’ve been talking to your sworn brothers, many of them love you both,” the older man behind Stannis said.
“They’re good men,” you replied.
“And many don’t,” the older man said. “You were seen taking the body of a Wildling girl North of the Wall. And you, (Y/N), were seen with a Wildling man, why?”
You and Jon took a moment, you didn’t have anything to say.
“It’s where she belonged,” Jon replied.
“Some of the Nights Watch feel you two have too much affection for the Wildlings.”
“They were born on the wrong side of the Wall. That doesn’t make them monsters.”
“No matter,” Stannis interrupted. “I shall take back the North from the thieves who stole it. Tywin Lannister is dead. He can’t protect them now. I shall mount Roose Bolton’s head on a spike. But if I am to take Winterfell, I need more men.”
“The men of the Night’s Watch swore to play no part--”
“I’m not talking about the damn Night’s Watch. I’m talking about the Wildlings,” Stannis said with a grim look on his face, he pushed past you and Jon and you both look at each other with sour faces.
You all walk back together, following Stannis.
“Your Grace, you want the Wildlings to march in your army?” you asked.
“If they swear to follow me, i’ll pardon them. We’ll take Winterfell once the North is won, i’ll declare them citizens of the realm. I’ll give them land to live on,” Stannis said with a smile.
“It’s a fair offer. More than fair,” the older man said.
“I’ll offer them their lives and their freedom if Mance kneels before me and swears his loyalty,” Stannis said.
“I don’t think that’s likely,” Jon replied.
Stannis, with the same smile moves past you both. “You both admire him, don’t you?” he asked.
“I respect him,” you replied.
“He likes you both, convince him to bend the knee...”
“Your grace,” Jon said.
“... or he burns,” Stannis finished off.
Stannis and everyone else looks at you and Jon. “How much time do we have?!” Jon yelled out.
“Nightfall. The Sun drops fast this time of year! Hurry Jon Snow and (Y/N) (Y/L/N)” Stannis yelled back as he walked away.
You and Jon turned to each other. “If Mance doesn’t comply, Tormund will burn as well,” you said. Jon didn’t say anything but to smile. “What?”
“You still love him, don’t you?” he asked.
“Shut up, right now is not the time for teasing! We have to figure out what to do,” you said.
Jon grabbed your shoulders and made you look at him. “I will handle this, please don’t worry too much okay? Can you trust me to leave it to me?”
“J-Jon I-”
“Leave it to me, (Y/N),” he said with a smile as he left you to head back.
* * *
Nightfall has landed. You’re up on the ramparts, looking down to see Mance walked out, in chains and a smile. He notices you, giving you his smile. Everyone is gathered around torches and a huge pyre set up for him. They’re going to burn him alive.
Jon didn’t convince him, you knew in your heart Jon did everything he could. Your heart sank deeper and deeper every moment you stood alone up there.
“Mance Rayder, you’ve been called the King beyond the Wall. Westeros only has one King. Bend the knee and I promise you mercy,” Stannis said.
You looked around, Seeing Tormund in chains along with the rest of Wildling men. Mance looked around for a moment and looked at you for a bit then back at Stannis.
“Kneel and live,” Stannis continued.
Mance took a moment before he began to speak. “This was my home for many years. I wish you good fortune in the wars to come,” Mance said before they turned him around, setting him up on the Pyre.
You cringed, you know what would come next. You wanted to look away until you see the Red Woman step forward.
“We all must choose,” she began. “Man or woman, young or old, lord or peasant, our choices are the same. We choose light or we choose darkness. We choose good or we choose evil. We choose the true god or the false.” She walked over to grabbed one of the knight’s torches, she takes it into her hands and walks in front of the pyre.
“Free folk,” she continued. “There is only one true King and his name is Stannis. Here stands your King of lies. Behold the fate of those who choose the darkness.” She smiled as she slowly sets the pyre on fire.
Mance looked around, his eyes are wondering. He looked a bit taken back, like he’s praying in his head. He wiggles and worms as the fire grow larger underneath him. You looked to Tormund, his eyes already meet yours. You wanted to hug him, cry and be with him. But you turned away and looked at Mance, gasping for air as everything turned black and the flams engulfed him. You felt something was about to happen.
You looked, Jon is no where to be found. You look to see Olly just as confused, but angry. “No, no, no, Jon!?” you said to yourself in a panic, you walked down from the ramparts to the ground where all the men where. You turned to Olly.
“Olly, where is Jon?” you asked.
Olly with a sour grin on his face, shrugged his shoulder. You turn, the fire is huge, your eyes feel as if their about to melt. Mance is crying out, a chill is sent down your spine, almost all stare but Gilly and Stannis’ daughter looked away. You wanted to as well but you looked to Tormund, only a few feet away. Tears are building up in his eyes.
The groaning stopped.
An arrow is shot straight at his heart. Mance’s eyes looked shocked as there is a relief in the night air now. Everyone turns in the direction of the arrow, everyone murmurs and you see him, Jon holding a bow aimed right at Mance.
You look back at Mance, he slumps over with his eyes still in shock, but quiet. The fire cackles and burns brighter, you look to see Jon Snow leave.
Your mouth slacked as you looked over at everyone’s reactions, they whispered and Tormund looked to you for answers but - you didn’t have any. The fire rose higher and Mance Rayder is now turning into ash.

WHOOPS - I AM SORRY
Uh, Hi?
I know, I knoooowww. Some of yall are probably like - ah Jesus Christ this girl again? YES YES YES.
I wanted to say I am so sorry for disappearing, life hasn’t been so great to me. I was in school for a good while and decided to take up a master’s degree that took majority of my time and energy. I was really sick during that degree and deiced to finally do something about it.
I had to get surgery, after surgery and more. This entire year or so, I had about three surgeries that really took a lot out of me and made me extremely tired, but not a day went by when I didn’t think about this account. I will never take it down and have decided to still finish the series, even if no one reads it at all.
I am so sorry for keeping all of this secrete and I hope no one is too mad at me. For the series, I won’t be tagging people unless I get a fresh list once again.
It’s hard to keep up with who still has what and the user names I have are like a year old or so. Also not to mention, sadly Game of Thrones has ended and a lot of people I know just stopped talking about it.
While this account was peak during the show, I know it wont be anymore and that makes me super sad because, I love Game of Thrones, It will always be one of my favorite tv shows - to this day.
This has been such an amazing journey and once my two series are wrapped up, I’m not sure I will be back to do this since I don’t really have a passion for writing anything else that is in the fan fiction type realm. If anyone is still interested, please let me know.
Writing this... has really helped and like I said, when going through all those surgeries, I never stopped thinking about this blog. I hope we can all make it through, since our world as turned upside down and of course tons of people are turning to reading and I hope I can still do such things.
If you guys still are interested, I will love to continue this. Together.
Thank you guys for understanding.

Is there a chance you could write some Asha/Yara × Euron NSFW fic?
I’d be happy to write a reader x Yara/Asha. I am not a fan of that pairing but anything reader x someone, I can happily write. :-) I hope that is understandable.

A Raven Among Crows: Pt 10
You’re a woman disguised as a man at The Wall, but no one knows.
Part Seven Part Eight Part Nine Part Eleven
(Y/N)= Your Name
(Y/L/N)= Your Last Name
Warning: Blood, Murder, Harsh Words and Heart Break
AN: THIS IS GOING TO BE LOOOOOOONNNNGGGGGG
Once you all returned to the Wall, the horn sang and the doors lifted up. You and about everyone else was frozen. Ice crystals formed on your eyelashes and hair. You couldn’t breathe, the thought of returning back to Thorne and the others, you just wanted to be free and run wild while you were on the other side. But, instead you looked to Jon as the gates rolled up and you all entered.
The sound of hammers clanking together and people talking, you missed it in some sort of way. It felt busier than usual.
“Rangers returning!” a man yelled.
You all mounted off your horses and walked together with Jon, on the other side where all the men hugged for a bit. Sam hugged Jon then you.
“You two all right? Jon? (Y/N)?” he asked.
“Welcome back brothers,” another man said towards us and the others.
“We’re fine,” Jon said.
“I’m good,” you replied.
Jon smiled and you all let out a laugh. It was a sigh of relief in some sort of weird way. Everyone even patted your back and told you how brave you were. Everyone and even Un familiar faces tried to talk to you about what happened.
Olly ran up to hug you and to talk to Jon. He told you over and over how happy he was to see you again, you hugged him close.
“I can’t leave you here, huh?” you joked.
It wasn’t until the moment of happiness was ruined by the voice of Thorne.
“Lord Snow,” he called out.
Everyone turned around, Olly clutched to your side as Jon’s hand rested on his shoulder. Thorn’s attention turned towards Ghost as he howled and barked.
“This is no place for wild beasts,” he stated. “Lock him away or I’ll let Hobb throw him in tonight’s stew.”
Jon walked away, you didn't bother to go as Olly clutched more on to you. You just sighed and looked at Thorne. As everyone split and went back to their duties, you stayed.
Thorne notices you, smiles, and walks towards you. You gulped as you motioned Olly to leave. He does, in a hurry in fact.
Thorne motions you to walk to him, you do. He takes you to where the armory is, he corners you.
“Thorne,” you said out loud.
“I see no one touched ya,” he said as he slowly moved your braid to the side to show your neck. “Only bruised I bit, I see.”
“I fought long and hand,” you said, not showing any fear.
He grabbed your braid and smelled it and then your neck. He looked at you, for moment you though he’d leave you alone. Instead, in one swift motion he grabbed your face and pinned you against the wall. You yelped.
“I could fuck you here and now on how much I missed seeing this body of yours,” he said. He then licked your cheek and smelled you again.
You cringed, a tear escaped and he noticed.
“You could never be ranger, crying like this,” he said.
You thought to yourself, Tormund would kill you for doing this. You wanted to scream it at him. You wanted to cry for Tormund to come and rescue you after all. Inside, you’re still a frighten child.
He lets you go, you look at him. “But not today. As much as I want to take you, you proven to be a decent fighter. Go on now,” he said.
You ran away, far away from him. Clutching your furs and leathers to your chest, you ran.

Later in the day, in the hall of all men and boys to hear was talk of Mance’s Army and what the plan was.
“Mance’s army was closing in on Craster’s Keep when we left. We saw their campfires from Ostric’s Hill. They’ll reach the wall before the next full moon,” Jon Snow said.
“I’m surprised you didn’t ride over and say hello,” Janos Flynt Said. “The king beyond the wall is your and (Y/N)’s old friend, isn’t he?”
“We need to prepare,” Jon Snow replied.
“We’ve been preparing,” Thorne said.
“We should seal the tunnel,” Jon said. Everyone in the room muttered to themselves about Jon’s plan. “Plug it with rocks and ice. Flood it and let it freeze.”
“And how would we range north?” Thorne asked.
“We wouldn’t.”
Everyone yelled and called him a coward. You watched the chaos unfold.
“You would cut off our legs, pluck out our eyes, leave us cornering behind the Wall hoping for the storm to pass?”
“We can’t defend the gate against 100,000 men,” you stated.
“This castle has stood for thousands of years. The Night’s Watch had defended her thousands of years. And in all those centuries, we have never sealed the tunnel!” Throne yelled.
“Have you ever seen a giant, Ser Alliser?” Jon asked. “I have. (Y/N) and I, both have.”
You stood up. “He’s right. The Tunnel’s gate won’t stop them,” you said.
“The bars on those gates are four inches thick. Cold - rolled steel,” Throne replied.
“And they won’t stop them,” you stated.
Everyone muttered again. Thorne looked at you as if you were his worst enemy. He held his tongue for a moment.
“Remind me which order you belong to, Lord Snow and (Y/N)?” he asked.
“The stewards,” Jon said.
“Ranger, before it was taken,” you said.
“And now?” he asked.
“Your personal steward,” you replied.
“Now. Are the stewards responsible for maintaining the tunnel?”
Jon spoke before you, “No,” he said.
“Who would that be?”
“The builders,” you said.
“Ah, the builders. First builder Yarwyck, Lord Snow and (Y/N) here recommends sealing the tunnel, leaving us unable to carry out our duties as sworn brothers of the Nights’s Watch. Do you agree with them?” Thorne asked.
Yarwyck took a moment, he looked at the council and the back at you and Jon. He hesitated with his answer, but it was clear on his face before he spoke his words. He shook his head, “No,” he said.
Everyone muttered under their breaths and it was starting to piss you off. Jon and you cringed.
“Given your deep knowledge of the wildling army, Lord Snow and (Y/N). You, Jon Snow and Tarly will take night duties on top of the Wall until the full moon,” Thorne said as everyone laughed. “As for you, (Y/N). You’re going to check on every ranger and making sure they have everything they need.”
Everyone muttered again, you closed your eyes and nod as Jon pulled you down to your seat, along with Sam pulling Jon down as well.
“Anyways, moving on! First Builder, we’ll need 100 barrels of pitch brought atop of the Wall,” Thorne said.
Everyone talked. You turned to Sam and Jon and the others.
“So, does that mean you get to come to our rooms then, (Y/N)?” Edd joked.
You flung your gloves at him. “Shut up you,” you said then laughed.
Grenn’s face was sour. Everyone turned to look at him.
“Aye, he’s just mad because he thinks the other brothers will take turns on you,” Edd said.
You smiled and cocked your head, “Grenn, you think that’s true?” you asked.
“You know how men are,” Grenn said.
You grabbed his hand, everyone looked at you two. “I’m going to be fine, trust me. And besides, you’re coming along with me to check on everyone,” you said.
Everyone chuckled.
“Aye, and I won’t let anyone hurt her either,” Jon said.
You smiled and nudged Jon. “And I won’t let anyone push you off the Wall, that’s my job,” you joked.
“If this all ends badly, I think I’m going to miss this the most,” Pyp said.
“Pyp, don’t say that. I’m sure we’ll all make it out alive,” Sam said.
Your smiled faded a bit, you’d have to see Tormund soon, even if you make it that far into the night to live to see him. You thought about him more and more as the voices around you faded. You wanted to kiss him, you wanted to make love to him again. The more and more you thought about him, the more you thought about you having to kill him.
What if he’s mad at you? What if he can never forgive you and the man you once knew is a monster. What if, it comes down to Jon Snow or Tormund. You looked at Jon Snow, his smile faded as well once he saw you. You could tell he was thinking the same thing, maybe not now but later. He motioned to ask if you were okay, you nodded, turned back to your bowl of stew and ate.

Meanwhile . . .
The Wildlings rampaged through Moles Town, killing left and right. Ygritte killing anything she sees in sight, out of anger, out of rage. Her and Tormund ran the streets and went through every house and hut there was.
Blood splattered on them and the blood seeped through the ceilings of the the houses.
“You ready for some crow?” one of the Wildling men shouted.
“Aye!” Everyone yelled.
Ygritte caught up to Tormund, fury in his eyes.
“What’s the plan with (Y/N), you never said and we’re close to Castle Black,” she said.
“We kill every last crow and I will take her. Far away, I’m sure she’ll leave with me,” he said.
“And what if she doesn’t want to leave?” Ygritte asked.
“She has no choice,” he said as he walked faster ahead of her.
Ygritte grabbed his arm and yanked him. “If you both die?” she asked.
“Then you can burn our bodies both, and whatever heaven or hell we’re both sent to . . . I can be happy with her.”
“You’re a mad man! What if she dies? What if you die?!”
Tormund pondered for a moment. “I will built her the biggest pyre I can built, I will climb on top and burn with her,” he said softly.
“Tormund,” Ygritte said.
A tear trickled down his face. “If I die, let it be by her hands,” he said, whipped his tear and walked away.
* * *
“I shouldn’t have left her there . . .” Sam said as his word trailed off.
“You couldn’t have know,” you said as you take Sam’s hand.
You’re gathered around with all the guys. Jon, Sam, Edd, Grenn and Pyp.
“Of course I could’ve known!” Sam yelled. “They’ve been raiding the villages close by.” His voice is shaking, you rubbed his hands with your thumb and tried to comfort him the best you could.
“And we’re just cowering in here while they slaughter our brothers,” Grenn said.
“Our brothers had orders to stay at Castle Black,” Edd said.
“So it’s all right then!? Black jack and kegs and molly chopped to pieces ‘cause they broke the rules?!” Grenn yelled.
“Grenn,” you said.
“I didn’t say it was all right,” Edd replied. “I’m saying they shouldn’t have been there.”
“We’re pledged to the guard the realms of men,” Grenn said.
“She’s dead because of me,” Sam said.
“We can’t even guard Mole’s Town!” Grenn yelled.
“We can’t go after them. You know that,” Jon Snow stated. “It’s what they want.”
“And little Sam . . . as if I cut their throats myself,” Sam said softly.
“Maybe she managed to hide herself,” Pyp said, trying to cheer him up. “I thought you were all dead. You went north with Mormont and no one came back. Not for ages. But then you all did.”
You smiled and grabbed Pyp’s hand as he took yours.
“She survived Craster, and he was the worst shit I’ve ever met,” Edd said. “She survived the long march to the Wall. She survived a white walker for fuck’s sake. She might’ve got out.”
You turned towards Edd, he nods at you. You grab the scruff of his leathers and rub his arm. He smiled as you turned towards Sam.
“She might have,” Sam said.
“If they hit Mole’s Town,” Jon said. Everyone turned to him. “Then we’re next. Mance and his army must be close.”
“100,000 of them,” Grenn stated. “And there’s what, 105 of us left?”
“You counting Black Jack, Kegs, and Mully? 102,” Edd stated.
“How do 102 men stop 100,000?” Pyp asked.
Edd walks over to the table, takes out cups for everyone, he pours each cup with ale as he talks. “Whoever dies last, be a good lad and burn the rest of us,” he said. “Once I’m done with this world, I don’t want to come back.”
Everyone grabs their cups and takes a gulp.
“First things first,” Jon said. Everyone looked to him. “We have to protect (Y/N), at all costs of course. But, don't forget that our own lives matter as well.”
You stood up. “I don’t want any one of you dying for me. You hear me? You, are all my brothers. I had no one growing up, I was rough little girl growing up in the Dreadfort. I can fight as you all saw, I will fight beside my brothers. Now, and forever,” you said.
“I could drink to that,” Edd said as he patted your back and motioned for you to sit.
“Now, and forever,” Jon said to you and smiled.
* * *
The wind blew all night, lanterns and torches were lit. It seemed like no one was resting, no one was talking, and no one was ready. All men you checked on, you and Grenn had no trouble. No one talked to you both. No one said one word to either of you but nod their heads and told you to carry on.
As you both walked out of the rooms and into the open court yard, Olly saw and hugged you.
“Are - are we going to die?” he asked.
You rubbed his head and nodded no. He buried his face into your leathers, tonight - you were a warrior along with your brothers. You had your leathers on, with longer warmer boots. Your hair is tighter braid with your dagger and steel by your side.
“Go on Olly, you’ll be fine,” you said to him.
He ran off and you turned to Grenn and smiled. Grenn shuffled his feet.
“Grenn? What’s wrong?” you asked.
“I - I just have a lot on my mind,” he said.
“Say it. Better to say it now,” you said.
Grenn gulped as he looked into your eyes. “I, feel something for you. (Y/N), and I can’t explain it,” he said.
You knew exactly what he meant. “Grenn,” you said, but in all honesty, it was all you could get out. All you could do is smile at him, take his hand into yours and give him a small peck on the lips. “I don’t know if we’re going to die tonight, even if we do or we don’t, I want to leave you with something to keep going.”
Grenn was quiet, he didn’t say a word. He just, tensed up and looked into your eyes. “Could we ever be together?”
“No. Not with this happening,” you said, you were honest.
Everything was a bit awkward. You said you needed to be alone for a while and he agreed. You went off on your own, into corner and weeped. For your fears, are coming to life.
Meanwhile . . .
Tormund, Ygritte and the others gather around their fire. Ygritte, sharpening her weapons as Tormund sipped on his ale.
“Did I ever tell you about her?” Tormund asked, a smile on his face. “My Sheila?”
“Yes,” Ygritte replied.
“Oh that was a night to remember. Of course, I’d had a good bit to drink,” he chuckles, trying to find humor during this tough time. Other men around him chuckled a bit as well. “Her fangs were sharp, but she knew how to use them and she was nice and soft down below. No, she was no ordinary beast. Many is the man who--”
“I know you never fucked a bear! You know you never fucked a bear. Right now, I don’t want to think about the bear you never fucked. Right now all I want to think about is each one of these arrows finding its way into a crow’s heart,” Ygritte snapped as she threw down one of the arrows she finished carving.
“We could be waiting here a while,” Tormund replied.
“Good,” she said. “The longer we wait, the more arrows I’ll have.” Everyone remains quiet for a bit before Ygritte started again. “When they came up here, to our land and put up a big wall and said it was theirs. Then they started hunting us down. This time, we’re the ones doing the hunting.”
Everyone nodded their head, it wasn’t until the main Thenn, Styr said something. “You’ve got a lot to say about killing. Even more words than arrows,” he said.
Ygritte, her face twisted with anger replied. “Back in those villages, I killed just as many of them as you did. More, I reckon.”
“Yes, but none of those were your crow lover, or your crow’s other lover,” Styr said.
“I probably killed him already,” she snapped.
“So you’ve said. But you never put an arrow in that girl crow.”
“And if not, the only thing left of him is gonna be his fun bits hanging around my neck,” she said. “As for her . . . she was too fast.”
Styr chuckled and Tormund shifted in his seat.
“More words,” Styr said. “You know what I think you do when you see him? Serve him up a nice juicy slice of ginger minge.”
Men laughed as Ygritte got up to his face. “You been thinking about that ginger minge?” she asked. “Wondering what it tastes like?”
Styr stood up, in Ygritte’s face, “Maybe I have”, he said.
“Jon Snow is mine,” Ygritte replied. “Anyone else tries to kill him, I’ll have an arrow for them!” She announced it everyone before she turned back to Styr. “And not one of your bald friends is fast enough to stop me.”
Styr chuckled a bit. “Maybe so, but I know they’re fast enough to get to your lady crow.” Ygritte’s face shifted as Tormund stood up in defense. “Oh, I see I must’ve hit ya in some way.”
“No one touches her,” Tormund announced.
All the Thenns chuckled in unison. “We’ll see who gets to her first,” he said as he walked away.
* * *
Back at Castle Black, you couldn't see but to walk the castle grounds and bite your nails. Bad habit you must admit. As you walk to the courtyard you see Gilly. You smiled as you run towards her, Sam, little Sam and Pyp.
“Gilly!” you yelled.
She turned around with a smile on her face and embraced you the best she could with little Sam in her arms. “I’m so happy you’re here!” she yelled.
“I though you were gone! But now that you’re here, I promise me and Sam will protect you and little Sam,” you said.
You two turn towards Sam and smiled. But then, the horn blows. Everyone looked at one another then . . . a second one blows.
“Get ready!” a man yells in the distance.
Everyone’s eyes widen with fear as Gilly and Sam looked around. You took a deep breath as you felt your heart racing a thousand miles per hour.
“Man the gate!”
“Ready yourselves!”
“Prepare!”
“Up on the Wall!”
You grab Sam’s arm and Gilly’s, “Go on now, get her some place safe,” you said.
“B-But,” Sam stuttered.
“Go!”
They both run as you’re left staring at Pyp, a sad look took over his face. “Pyp,” you breathed out. He runs and hugs you tight, he presses his forehead against yours. “Don’t die.”
“Aye, same to you.”
You had to get to the top of the Wall with Jon, to help him, to protect him. You ran towards the cart and yelled for them to lift, the men lifted and cranked up the cart up to the wall. You stepped out, the icy cold winds hit your face and you grinned.
“Jon! Jon!” you yelled frantically.
The horn blowing in your ears as men pushed passed you to get into their positions. The horn, that damn horn ringed in your ears. You saw him, that curly black hair, you saw him.
“Jon!” you yelled as you ran towards him.
“(Y/N), come now!” he yelled as he grabbed your hand and you ran over to the ledge of the wall. You gasp and take it all in, the woods in front of the wall . . . on fire. The biggest fire you’ve ever seen before in your life.
“Light them up! Light them all!” men yelled at their post.
You and Jon rolled barrels oils towards the arches and men at the edge of the Wall, lifted them up onto a device that rolls them down on the Wall. “Here we go, boys. Theres one. Let’s go! There’s two!” Janos yelled as they lifted up the heavy barrels.
“(Y/N),” Janos Flynt called out. “To the archers!”
You smiled and nodded as Pyp handed you a bow and arrows and you waited. You practiced a bit with the men, you must admit you were a bit better than the other boys... it was Ygritte who taught you better than any man.
“I have to see her again too,” you whisper to yourself as you looked at your bow. Seeing her would make you happy but then fearful as well.
The horn blows again. You tuck whatever lose strains of hair behind your ears as you hear other men shouting at other men, you were calm and collective. The noise started to drown out and all you could hear is your breathing.
You close your eyes but then the horn again blew and you snapped you out of it. One . . . two.
They emerged out of the woods... giants and others yelling and clanking their swords as the giants bellowed. You shake a bit as you look at Jon and Grenn.
“Archer’s nock! Everyone else, hold!” Throne said in your ear.
“Grenn, no!” a man yelled as a barrel full of oil fell down the wall. Everyone looked but you remained steady.
“I said nock and hold, you cunts!” Throne yelled. “Does nock mean draw!?”
“No, ser!” you all yelled in unison, including you.
“Does fucking hold mean fucking drop!?”
“No, ser!”
“You all plan to die here tonight!?”
“No, ser!”
“That’s very good to hear! Draw!”
The horn keeps blowing as everyone pulled their bow with the arrow on fire, you breathed in. But the horn . . . the horn was soft.
You turned to see Thorne and Jon look as confused then they turned to the man that was in charge of blowing the horn.
“No! Not me, down bellow!” he yelled.
“Tormund,” you whispered.
“They’re attacking the southern gate!” Janos Slynt ran up and yelled at Thorne.
“Now?”
“Now!”
Everyone looked around, you were conflicted now. Throne hesitated but looked at Slynt. “I’m going down here. Brother Slynt, you have the Wall.”
“What!?” he yelled in confusion.
Thorne turned back, frustrated. “What are you fucking waiting for!? Loose!”
“You heard the man, loose!”
You focused back quickly and released your arrow. Hundreds of arrows fly in the night sky as the fire on them seem like it was raining fire. But, it only managed to hit a couple of wildlings and they soon backed up with shields in hands. They shouted and cursed at us.
“Nock! Draw! Loose!”
Everyone draw and released as we were all in unison drawing and releasing as many arrows as we can into the sky. But again, missed by a couple of feet, you panted as you felt a chill run down your spine. He was close, you turn as you hear the noise down below, they breached the castle.
But you had a job to do, you turn as the giants bellowed. They charged. Your heart sank as you saw the giant riding the mammoth running towards the Wall. “Nock! Draw! Loose!” Everyone’s arrows released in the wind at it became a point where everyone did it without hesitation.
“No discipline, no training. Gang of thieves, that’s all this is. I commanded the City Watch of King’s Landing. Those men obeyed orders,” Janos Slynt said.
“We can’t just let them attack the gate!” Jon Snow yelled.
“Yeah! Are you fucking kidding me!” you yelled.
“The bars of those gates are four inches of cold-rolled steel.”
“Those are giants riding mammoths down there!” you yelled as you turned towards Janos, Grenn, Edd and Jon. “Do you think your cold-rolled still is going to stop them!?”
“No such things as giants...” Janos said. “A story for children.”
Everyone looked away and almost to seem to have given up. Until Grenn called for Slynt.
“Brother Slynt! We just got word that Ser Alliser needs you below!” Grenn said. “You’re the most experienced man he’s got, Ser, and he needs you.”
Everyone looked around at each other frantically. “Needed below? Yes, yes,” Slynt said as he walked away.
Grenn nodded at you and Jon as Edd smiled. Everyone looked at Jon Snow, all of the archers.
“What now? Lord Snow,” you said with a smile.
Jon smiled as he stood right beside you. “Archers, nock your arrows!” he yelled.
You smiled as you ready your bow then you yell, “Nock arrows!” to repeat his command.
“Draw!”
Everyone drew their arrows as Jon gave the final command, “Loose!” he yelled. Everyone released their arrows onto the wildling herd hitting much more of them as they tried to attack the wall and they started to climb it.“They won't summit before dawn,” Jon said.
“How do you know that?” Grenn asked.
“Because me and (Y/N) made that climb!,” Jon said.
“I think they’re in a bigger hurry than you two were,” Edd said.
Everyone strapped other archers onto a a device that lowers them to face straight down the wall, everyone is nervous as so are you, but you don’t fear falling - no, not one bit.
“Hold the bridge! Hold! Wait for it! Come on with the rocks!”
You ready yourself, “Nock!” Jon yelled. “Draw! Loose!”
You breathed as your arrow escaped your grasp, strike as you hear the wildlings scream, you smile but out of no where you see a giant arrow rush past you as hit one of the wooden tops.
“Down!” Jon yelled as he grabbed you and brought you down and him on top of you. You hear a man yell as you look to see the giant arrow had snatched the man’s body and took him flying.
Fear, finally. Fear washed over you. “Hey! Hey!” Jon yelled at you, still on top of you. “Look at me! Look at me, (Y/N)!” He grabbed your face as he pressed his forehead against yours. “I got you, I always got you.”
You nodded your head as he stood up and he lifted you up with him, you hug him as you two embrace for a bit but then you let go.
“Is she okay!” a man yelled. Everyone looked concerned for you.
“Tell us if the girl is okay!”
You smiled as you walked forward onto the deck, “Jon Snow,” you said. “Lower me.”
Jon strapped you in a lowered as you as you place two arrows in-between your teeth and one already in your hand ready to draw.
“Nock! Draw! Loose!” Jon yelled as arrows fly, you grab the other one in the grasp of your teeth as you let loose another, then repeat. Jon grabbed you and high five you.
“We’re doing it now!” he yelled.
“Now!” Edd yelled as they released the barrels of oil down the Wall. You watched as they came crashing down onto the wildlings, everyone took a deep breathe when the giant finally mounted off of his mammoth. The giant and the mammoth both bellow. The giant started to rip off the wood off of the door, he hooked it and then hooked it onto his mammoth and pull. They bellow below as they pull harder and harder so hard we can even hear the door crack.
Jon and you turn to the Wall. Jon looked at Grenn and grabbed him, “Take five men, gold the inner gate,” Jon demanded.
“Aye,” Grenn said.
You felt panic wash over you but before you can say anything, Jon grabbed him. “Hold the gate,” he said. “If they make it through . . .”
“They won’t,” Grenn replied. He smiled as he called other men. “Come on, Hill. And you, Cooper!”
Before he walked away, you grabbed his leathers. “Take me too,” Grenn looked at you, sadness, fear and anger in his eyes.
He leaned in and kissed you. You let him before he looked at you, “If I did that, I would regret everything . . . you, three, on me!” he yelled as he walked off with his battle back. “Come on, you lazy bastards! I have a woman to get back to!”
The horn blew as Edd walked over and looked at Jon and you. “Oil!” Jon called out.
“Oil on the ramps!” Edd called out.
They lit the ends as they started to fall, they’ll explode on them. You watched as Jon was commanding them to drop them. They crashed down as the mammoth was scared off, one of the giants ran after it, stomping on other wildlings in the process.
“Out of the way! Get out of here!” one of the men yelled as one of the barrels were stuck. You and Jon looked in a panic. One of the men ready the harpoon, they launched and hit the giant running after the mammoth. We hear a roar.
“Cut the rope!” a man yelled followed by an explosion.
You and Jon duck as men are set on fire and you and Jon can hear them screaming. Men are in a panic as they run off and still get impaled due to the debris while others fall off due to fright.
“We need more archers!” men yelled. “Come on! quickly!”
You, Jon and Edd hear footsteps behind yall, it was Sam.
“Sam!” you yelled.
“What are you doing up here?” Jon asked.
“The wildlings are over the walls! Ser Alliser’s fallen! The Castle won’t stand much longer!” Sam yelled.
Everyone looked at Jon. “Edd,” Jon called out. “You have the Wall.” Edd’s eyes widen as Jon walked towards Sam. “If they try the mammoths again, drop fire on them. If the climbers get too high, drop the scythe on them! (Y/N), with me!”
“Aye!” you yelled as you walked pass Sam and Edd towards the lift.
Jon grabbed his sword and took it out. “Come, brothers! Now fight with me!” he yelled as you all got into the lift with other men.
“I hope I know what you’re doing, Jon Snow,” you said.
“Same goes for you,” he said. “Stay alive.” he said.
You smiled. “Aye.”
As the lift lowers, your eyes dart around to try to find her... try to find him,
“I don’t want you out there,” Jon said to Sam.
“You can’t protect me forever!” Sam yelled. “There won’t be anywhere to hide if the castle falls.
Jon hands Sam a large key. “I need him, more than I need you.”
Sam nods his head, you place your hand on his shoulder and rub him before Jon opens the door, the lift is near the ground. You read yourself with your bow and arrow, along with your sword and dagger. Jon Snow, before it touches the ground jumped off and started to fight, swinging his word and already killed one wildling in the way of him.
You ready your bow and release three arrows in wildlings, you jump down, roll and kneel to get a better aim at others. The fight, starts now. You get about five more arrow into wildlings before one surprised attacks you and chokes you, he throws away your bow and knocks down all of the arrows ready, he smiles he thinks he's winning until the side of you, you grab your dagger and stab him on his side. He screams and falls over as you slit his throat.
You get up, dirty a bit from the blood as you wipe it across your face. You huffed as you drew your sword and spin to slice other wildlings. You run forward to try to protect your brothers but then your mind came about Tormund, you looked around at all the chaos.
“Girl crow!” a man yelled.
You look to see a bald headed man, scars and all over his head. He laughed as he ran towards you, but Jon knocked you down on the ground to protect you.
“Go!” he yelled.
“I’ll get her! Don’t you worry!” the bald headed man yelled.
You got up and ran towards the wall of the castle to take a deep breath, you see her. Ygritte. She ready her bow and arrow as you ran towards her and knocked her out.
“Get off of me!” she yelled, then - she saw your face. “(Y/N)!”
“What are you doing!?”
“I-I,” she stammered.
“Protect him!” you yelled as you gripped her up and pushed her.
“Thank you, (Y/N),” she said as she nodded her head, her eyes fluttered with tears as she ran towards him.
You watched her but then as you turned you were lifted up by the throat. Your vision is blurry but then it came to you, you see his ginger hair and his blue eyes.
“T-Tormund,” you gasped for air.
“How could you break my heart?,” he asked. “How could you do that me!”
A tear escaped your eyes, he took notice and lowered you. You notice the arrow in his shoulder. “You’re hurt,” you said as you wanted to touch him, hold him, kiss him. . . make love to him.
“Why did you do it!?” he yelled as he tried to grab you but you took out your dagger and cut his hand. He yelled in pain as you ran, he cried as he tried to cash after you but other brothers came and pushed him away. “Tell me! Tell me! I love you!”
They beat him bloody and he became . . . wild. As you had time to take a breath, you notice all of the calmness in the area. Everyone surrounded Tormund. He roared with more arrows in him, you looked away.
“Tormund,” Jon called out. “It’s over. Let it end.”
“This is how a man ends!” he yelled as you heard more swords clanking then, the sound of a crossbow hit him as he fell to the ground.
You looked as Jon kicked him. “Put him in chains,” Jon said as men grabbed him. “We’ll question him later.”
They dragged him away. “I should’ve thrown you from the top of the Wall, boy!” he yelled. “I should’ve killed (Y/N), in front of you!”
Jon handed another brother the crossbow as he walked towards you and grabbed your arm to walk with him. “Aye, you should have,” Jon said.
* * *
You, Sam and Jon walked the castle, you’re a bit bruised off as you notice all of the other men laid the other bodies in a pile.
“So we held them off?” Sam asked.
“Just for one night,” you replied.
“This is a great victory!”
“A great Victory?” Jon asked. “Mance was testing our defenses. He almost made it through. And he has more giants. He has more mammoths. He has a thousand times as many men. They’ll hit us again tonight. Maybe we can hold them off for a day or two but we’ll never beat them.”
“Where are we going?” Sam asked.
“I’m going to find Mance,” Jon said.
“W-Wait, what?” you asked. “To fi-- you can’t do that!” Sam said. “No one gave you any orders.”
“Who’s left to give orders?” Jon asked. “The wildling army’s only an army because of Mance. He united one hundred warring tribes. Without Mance, they lose their leader. They lose their purpose. They go back to fighting each other. Scatter back to their homes.”
“Without Mance?” Sam asked as he tried to run after him. “You’re going to kill him?”
“I’m going to try,” Jon said.
“Jon, they’ll never let you within a hundred yards of him,” you said as you picked up pace with Sam and Jon.
“And even if they did, even if you managed to kill him--”
“They’ll kill me? If I don’t go, they’ll kill me anyway. They’ll kill the rest of us, too.”
“They won't just kill you. They’ll boil you. They’ll flay you. They’ll make it last days!” Sam yelled.
Jon turned towards you and Sam. “You’re right. It’s a bad plan. What’s you two’s plan?”
You and Sam couldn’t say anything but decide to walk to the tunnel. Upon it, you wanted to run away. You saw Grenn, Grenn’s body laid out next to the giant. You dropped out Jon and Sam’s talk but just looked at Grenn, you got close to him, kissed his forehead and closed his eyes.
“And now your watch has ended . . . I’m sorry,” you whispered to him.
You look to see Sam waving the torch of fire to signal to raise the gate. You took up as Jon looked back at you and Sam.
“Jon,” Sam said. “Come back.”
Jon smiled as he turned towards you, nodded his head and walked out. You take a deep breathe in as Jon walks further into the cold.
“He’s fucking mad man,” you said as you turn to walk away.
“Are you going to see him?” Sam asked.
“If you’re talking about Tormund, no. I don’t think I want to see him,” you said.
“He’s asking for you, no one would tell him anything . . . But I think you should.”
You held your breath as you walked forward, you heard the news of Ygritte, Pyp and now Grenn. Tears escape as you were on your way to your room. The men finally respected you and gave you a more secure room away from everyone. You locked the door behind you.
“I fucking hate you,” you said to yourself. You were thinking of Tormund, you told him . . . you begged him to not do it and at what cost? Loosing your best female friend, loosing Pyp. . . Loosing Grenn! All of Tormund’s horrible words to you.
You stripped as you took off everything, let your hair down and looked at yourself in the mirror to see all of your bruises, but still - you thought of how soft his hands would be on your skin.
“I need to see him,” you whispered to yourself.
