“Hot and bothered” in the sense that it is 90 degrees out and I am extremely annoyed

There are a couple of things about current shipping culture that confuse me.  

1. The focus on whether or not a pairing will become canon as a reason people should ship something or not.  Do you not understand what the “transformative” part of “transformative works” means?”

2. This idea that saying “I ship that” means “I think that, as presented in canon,this is a perfect, healthy relationship that everyone should model their relationship after.” 

Sometimes shipping something does mean that.  Sometimes shipping something means “Person A is a trash bag who doesn’t deserve person B but I would love to explore how Person A might grow to deserve Person B.” Sometimes it means “I want these characters to live together forever in a conflict free domestic AU.”  Sometimes it means “I want Person A to forever pine after Person B.  Nothing is beautiful and everything hurts.”  And sometimes it just means you like their faces and want to see Person A and Person B bone in various configurations and universes.

I was gonna do this earlier but I was knackered to do it; so here we are CLOTTEDSAPPHIRE PROPAGANDA TIME!!!!

So hear me out on this chat; these guys are like, shadowvanilla and blackbell with a different flavour (that's how I see it anyways). Having these guys interact would be insanely funny and interesting because they would probably hate each other tbh. (I love enemies to lovers....)

BS is more lowkey about it than Candy Apple, but he's just as enamoured with his master than she is. BS may have gotten a staff with a familiar (?) inside and more attention than CA (bc lets be real he's probably the real favourite minion based on Smilk's actions). But its not enough, it will... never be enough. Because Shadow milk is not looking at his minions the way they look at him, why else would Pure Vanilla still see loneliness in him after everything?

Meanwhile CC (while not directly stated) has probably sought after the affection of his adoptive father since he was child, receiving nothing but expectations of greatness in return. Custard probably only cares when CC is doing what he wants, and even then is that care even real in the first place.

Two liars always putting on a mask, internally seeking acceptance and love for who they really are behind the mask. And then you put them up next to each other.... How fast do you think they'd see each other's flaws? Takes a liar to know a liar after all.

>Maybe CC would refuse to admit he's deep down just as bad as BS, because he's a good person and BS is following the beast of deceit. Maybe they find they do have things in common and begin talking, finding friendship and later love in each other that they couldn't find elsewhere? They could totally fix each other guys i'm telling you.

Black Sapphire's probably the one who initiates most of these, let's be honest. (Think like. BS constantly aiming for CC in Mario Party to screw him over even when he's losing. CC aiming for BS even though he's already winning...it's out of malice at first but then turns into their weird way of flirting)
