The rhythmic thud of the volleyball against the polished gym floor echoed through the empty space, each bounce reverberating in your chest. It was late—well past the usual practice hours. The team had cleared out, the lights overhead casting long, eerie shadows. Yet, Kuroo Tetsurō remained.
And so did you.
You hadn’t planned to be here, but something about the sight of him practicing alone had drawn you in. It always did. There was something mesmerizing about the way he moved—controlled, precise, like he was playing a game only he knew the rules to. His sharp eyes were focused, his breath measured, the usual cocky grin absent from his face.
You sat on the bleachers, knees pulled to your chest, watching. The air felt heavy, charged with something unspoken.
“You’re pushing yourself too hard,” you said softly, your voice barely carrying over the sound of the ball colliding with the floor.
Kuroo didn’t respond.
He tossed the ball up again, fingers brushing over the surface before spiking it with force. It hit the floor with a loud crack, rolling toward the far end of the court. His shoulders tensed, his jaw clenched.
“You don’t have to do this,” you tried again, your fingers curling into the fabric of your sweater. “You’re already—”
“Already what?” His voice was sharp, cutting through the space between you.
You hesitated. “Already good enough.”
The silence that followed was suffocating.
Kuroo turned slowly, his expression unreadable. His dark eyes locked onto yours, and something in his gaze made your stomach twist. Not the usual mischief. Not amusement. Something colder.
Then, without warning, he hurled the volleyball toward you.
Your breath hitched, your muscles locking in place as the ball cut through the air like a bullet. It was too fast, too precise—aimed directly at you.
But at the last second, it veered off, missing you by inches.
It smacked against the metal bleachers with a loud clang, bouncing away before rolling to a stop.
Your heart pounded against your ribs.
Kuroo tilted his head, his lips curling into something that wasn’t quite a smirk. “You flinched.”
You swallowed hard, trying to steady your breathing. “You threw a ball at me.”
“Did I?” He stepped closer, his long strides unhurried, his gaze never leaving yours. He stopped just a few feet away, close enough that you could see the way his fingers twitched, like he was still holding the weight of the ball in his hands.
“You missed,” you whispered.
He exhaled a sharp laugh, running a hand through his messy black hair. “Did I?”
The repetition made your stomach knot.
He had missed. On purpose. But that wasn’t the point. The point was that he had wanted you to react. He had wanted to see something—fear, maybe. Or something else.
Your body was still tense, hands curled into your sweater as you tried to process what had just happened. The lingering adrenaline made your fingers tremble slightly, but you forced them still.
“You think I’m good enough?” His voice was quieter now, but there was an edge to it, something simmering just beneath the surface.
“I do,” you said, and for the first time, your voice didn’t waver.
Kuroo studied you for a long moment, his expression unreadable. Then, just as quickly as the moment had turned sharp, the edges softened.
He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “You’re too easy, you know that?”
The words sliced through you before you even had time to process them.
Too easy.
It was such a simple phrase, but it twisted in your chest like a knife.
Too easy to fool. Too easy to keep waiting. Too easy to pull in, just to let go.
Your stomach tightened as the words settled in, weighing heavier than they should have. Maybe it was because, deep down, you had already thought them yourself. You had wondered if you were too desperate for his attention, too quick to forgive the way he played with your emotions. Too willing to believe that maybe, just maybe, you meant something more to him than just another source of entertainment.
Kuroo wasn’t cruel, not in the traditional sense. He didn’t insult you outright, didn’t belittle you in obvious ways. But he had a way of choosing his words carefully, of making them linger just long enough to make you question yourself.
Your chest ached with the weight of it.
Your fingers clenched around the fabric of your sweater, nails pressing into your palms. You wanted to say something, anything, to defend yourself. But what could you say? That you weren’t easy? That you didn’t hang onto his words like they meant something? That every time he looked at you, you didn’t overanalyze every flicker of emotion behind his hazel eyes?
Lying wouldn’t change the truth.
Kuroo reached down, grabbing the ball from where it had settled. He spun it in his hands, his fingers tracing the grooves absentmindedly.
“You should go home,” he said, his voice lighter now, almost dismissive. “It’s late.”
You hesitated, but he didn’t even look up at you this time.
Something in your chest cracked.
“That’s all?” The words left your lips before you could stop them.
Kuroo let out a short chuckle. “What else do you want, kitten? A love confession?”
Your breath caught.
The way he said it, the way the word kitten rolled off his tongue so effortlessly—it was mocking. Like he was laughing at you.
Your fingers curled into fists. “I just… I don’t get why you keep me around if all you’re going to do is push me away.”
Kuroo finally looked up at you, but there was something unreadable in his gaze. Something that made your skin prickle.
His lips parted, like he was going to say something real—something that might finally give you an answer. But then, just as quickly, the moment passed.
He sighed dramatically, shaking his head. “Man, you’re bad at this.”
Your throat tightened. “Bad at what?”
Kuroo smirked. “Keeping up.”
The air left your lungs.
Keeping up. Like this was a game. Like you were supposed to just know how to play, how to read between the lines, how to navigate the sharp edges of his words without getting cut.
But you didn’t. You never had.
And Kuroo knew that.
“You really are something else,” he mused, tossing the ball up and catching it again. His tone was light, almost amused, but the weight of his words crushed you. “It’s kind of cute, honestly.”
Your stomach twisted.
You weren’t sure which part of that sentence hurt more—the fact that he thought you were something else, or the fact that he called it cute, like it was funny. Like it was just another quirk of yours, something to be teased about, something to be entertained by.
Kuroo sighed, rolling his shoulders. “But really, you should head home. I’d hate to keep you out too late.”
That was it.
Like you hadn’t just stood here, feeling your chest tighten with every word. Like he hadn’t just thrown a ball at you to see you flinch. Like you weren’t trying to understand him and failing every single time.
Your throat burned, but you nodded. Because what else could you do?
Because Kuroo Tetsurō played games.
And no matter how much you wanted to believe otherwise, you were just another piece on his board.

Toji remains seated on the carpet with his children's small toy table in front of him, too small to allow him to even place both of his hands on it.
“What would you like to order sir?” asks Megumi holding a crayon and notepad full of drawings, and looks at his father with a serious expression, or at least tries to.
Toji parts his thin lips for a brief moment and looks at the paper with coloured lines that should, in theory, represent the menu of the well-known restaurant “Fushigurosʼ Restaurant”.
“Is it possible to have the special of the day?” he asks as he carefully searches for the right words and smiles, highlighting the scar on his right side.
With a quick nod of his head, Megumi walks over to his three-year-old sister and informs her of their customer's request. In response, the little girl turns to him, looks at him from head to toe with her big green eyes and shakes her head slightly, causing her black hair to move as well.
After this dramatic reaction, her brother goes to the table and reports the cook's reply. “Well, the dish of the day is made of,” he pauses briefly and pretends to read the note scribbled a moment before, “biscuits and water.” he finishes by flashing a smile.
“Biscuits and water?” repeats Toji and nods slowly. “Alright thank you.” he finally says and, again, Megumi walks over to his little sister.
The latter starts mumbling and with every word spoken her brother nods and agrees. Toji does not know exactly what the two are saying to each other but he can't help but smile.
“Oh, there's a tea party?” your voice catches the attention of the three raven-haired who turn towards you; your two children happily run over and hug you as if they haven't seen you in years while your husband remains seated next to the toy table.
“Mummy, Daddy has so many demands!” the little one complains and her lips form a pout as she looks towards her confused father.

The sound of small footsteps running across the wooden floor stop you from your speech and you turn your head towards where your daughter's snow-white head would be pierced.
Blue eyes meet yours and a smile forms on the child's chubby face as she joins you on the sofa where you are sitting.
You take her in your arms and smile, giving her a kiss on her red cheeks and move a few unruly locks from in front of her eyes.
“ Did she wake up?” 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘂's voice can be heard from your phone and your daughter's attention switches to the screen. Seeing her father's face the two-year-old brings her small hands towards the phone and you let her take it as you sit her on your lap.
“ Papa?” her still sleepy little voice makes both of you giggle and 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘂 answers her in his corny tone, calling her by the thousand nicknames he gave her.
“ Did you take a nap, my sweetpie?” he asks her and she leans her head against your chest, rubbing her eye with her little hand clasped in a fist and then looks back at you, smiling even more.
“ Don't you want to give daddy a kiss?” you ask her in a sweet tone and she snaps kissing the screen and then smiling proudly at her own gesture.
“ When I get home you'll give me all the kisses you want, alright my angel?” 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘂 says and she shows him her little thumb, something 𝗬𝘂𝗷𝗶 taught her those times he babysits her.

REO MIKAGE
“I'm back!” not even two minutes pass before Reo hears the feet of his three-year-old running towards him.
The little girl arrives with a big smile but just two steps away from her father, slows to a halt, her smile slowly falling away as she keeps her doe bright purple eyes glued to the doll behind her father.
She passes her unenthusiastic gaze from the toy to her father, then looks behind for you, her mother.
“Look what daddy brought you.” you tell her as you approach your husband and the doll the size of your baby.
“Do you want to play with it?” Reo asks holding out the toy but in response the little one runs away, heading for the big sofa in the living room.
“I think she doesn't like it.” you say keeping your gaze on your daughter, “she is perhaps afraid.” you add cautiously.
Reo hands you the doll and walks over to the little one and picks her up, trying to reassure her that everything is fine.
“Don't worry, if you don't want to play with that doll, we can go get your other toys, alright?” he asks her and she nods, keeping her chubby cheek resting on her father's broad shoulder.
ISAGI YOICHI
“Shall we take this too?” he asks as he shows him a red rose.
The child's eyes widen and he carefully takes the thornless flower in his small hands. “It's beautiful...” he comments as he continues to admire the beauty of the flower.
Isagi has taken it upon himself to pick up his seven-year-old son from school, and on the way back, they stop at this recently opened flower shop.
“Do you think Mummy will like it?” the child asks him enthusiastically, and passes his gaze from the flower to his father.
Isagi smiles and ruffles his dark hair, “I think she'll love it.” he replies and buys a bunch.
“Do you want us to get some chocolates as well?” proposes Isagi and receives immediate confirmation as the little one runs to the convenience store next door.
SAE ITOSHI
“When is daddy coming?” your already impatient four-year-old asks you about the waiting time. You are at the airport and your husband should be arriving any minute now.
"You've been waiting for him for a fortnight, we'll see him soon!" you tell him as you stroke his hair.
You run your eyes over everyone leaving and all of a sudden your son starts running towards the passengers who just got off.
“I'm coming Dad!” you hear him shout and see your husband pick him up as he smiles.
You catch up with them and Sae gives you a quick peek on the lips before you hear your child's disgusted cries.

I really apologise for the delay in posting this request, and so do all the others in the imbox. I took a break because I had to catch up with my studies and so I had absolutely no time to devote to tumblr (at least as far as writing is concerned).
I apologise again, and I promise to post the other requests you sent as well! Thank you very much for your understanding!

Tumblr media
I have no words to describe what I am feeling. I never imagined I would get this far and I honestly didn't think that the things I write could be enjoyed so much. But thank you so much for all the support and love you have given me.
I am aware that I haven't updated in months, I don't bring content anymore and although I have a lot of ideas I am busy with personal matters. I am already writing down some of the requests I have received, and even though this blog was originally supposed to carry content that was not acceptable to minors, I focus my energies on totally opposite stories.
In May I should be back to posting more frequently (although I make no promises), and I hope to continue receiving requests. They are always open!
Thanks again for everything!

“ Mummy!” the little girl runs to her mother and hugs your legs as soon as her little body collides with yours.
You grin from ear to ear and call her in a happy tone as you move some of her black locks from her face.
“ Honey,” you call her by the nickname and lower yourself to the level of her eyes; those green eyes the same as her father's and older brother's.
“ Kissie.” she tells you, pointing her little index finger at her cheek, and you without objection indulge her.
When she feels satisfied, she runs towards her father who welcomes her with open arms and Toji, without a second thought, presses his thin lips on the same area where you left the kiss, all with his eyes fixed on your face and your reaction.
Like every couple, you too have your little quarrels and this time you are stubbornly not speaking to him while he, well, tries to get that dossa rage out of you.
Your daughter is unaware of the ploy her father used to get an indirect kiss from you, and you can't help but look at him with mixed emotions.
You avert your gaze from him when you notice the right side of his mouth turn up as if mocking you for your naivety.
The rest of the day is difficult for you as with every interaction with your children, Toji does the same.
Did you run a hand through Megumi's hair? Well, his father does too but he does not receive a smile rather a strange look from his son.
Did you rub the tip of your nose with your daughter's? Toji does it too and that makes the little girl giggle more, pleased with the attention she receives.
But just when you think you've figured out your husband's next move, he leaves you surprised by planting a kiss on your temple or cheek while you're not paying too much attention.
Never underestimate this man.

“ Show mummy what I taught you!” the sappy voice of 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘂 catches your attention and you look curiously towards him and your two-year-old daughter.
The latter is in her father's arms and wrapped in a towel, fresh out of the bath she took, looking at you with her toothy smile.
She squints and frantically moves her head from left to right and back again. Her wet snow-white hair throws drops of water towards 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘂 and you put your hand in front of your face to protect yourself from that unexpected attack.
The child's giggle makes you smile and you see her looking at her father for compliments on the joke well played.
“ Did you see that? Isn't that the sweetest thing? Did you notice how she closes her little hands into two little fists? Look!” your husband's squeaky voice does not stop commenting on your daughter's sweet attitude.
The child noticing 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘂's expression and cheerful tone does the recently learned gesture again, wetting again a part of his face with droplets.

he is the type of boyfriend / husband that when you are angry with him, and you don't give him attention and therefore ignore him, he starts singing love songs trying to win you back again.
“ Baby~ please, sorry I promise I won't do it again! Never again!” he tells you as he follows you around the house, with his lower lip trusted out and his eyebrows furrowed slightly, forming a pout and the expression of a lost puppy.
You tell him nothing and ignore him after he hands you a box placed on a high shelf that you could not reach.
“ Baby~” he whines but it is ineffective on you.
You turn to him as the soundtrack of I love you baby reverberates from the TV and he looks at you with a proud grin.
1 minute and 20 seconds: he grabs your hands and you can't even hold back a smile, and it's in vain to curve the tips of your mouth downwards as he leads you behind his impromptu dance moves.
“ I love you baby and if it's quire all right.” he spins you around, later returning his hand to the small of your back and the other clutching yours tightly as if you could run away.
“ I need you baby to warm your lonely night.” he continues to sing in the meantime brushing the tip of his nose against your pink cheek.
“ I love you baby trust me when I say...” he gives you kisses light as feathers on your face and brings your bodies closer together.
“ I'm sorry.” he says to you while giving you repeated pecks on your lips.
