Not a silly lighthearted mash ep idea, but: I’ve always been curious about the non-medical folks’ thoughts on being stationed at a mash. I wish we could have explored more klinger or radars perspective on being far from immediate danger yet closer to death than any other soldier.

I love the eps when the nurses take over or mulcahey has to perform the tracheotomy. Would have loved to see klinger or radar get the same treatment!

I genuinely believe there was a lot of interesting episodes that we missed out on from the non medical staff, because they aren't the main characters. I always felt that Father Mulchay deserved more than the occasional crisis of faith/why am I in a war zone kind of episodes.

Would need to be an ep in the early seasons - but an episode based at the Pink Pagoda.

Like from the insinuation during some pre season 6 episodes, Hawkeye has seen Margaret there. So idk drunk Margaret on RnR, runs into an also drunk Hawk and Trapper who have finished at a medical conference and have gone to the Pink Pagoda.

Not so much a during the actual series episode, but a short that could have been filmed after Wayne Rogers died, where Hawkeye, Margaret, BJ and Winchester are all standing around at the wake and essentially it is insinuated that Trapper slept with all of them over the years.

Does Radar have peaceful dreams of the farm or just a constant time loop of a nightmare from Henry's death?

Does Trapper actually sleep after what he has seen?

This would have been GOLD. Considering Dreams was in Season 8 and that was when Gary left, they could have squeezed Radar into the episode

I would have loved to see an entire episode set in a Chinese or North Korean MASH unit, with an equally unique bunch of characters with their own weird interpersonal dynamics and personal stakes, also surviving their way through harrowing circumstances. Just a full episode where we don’t see any of our familiar faces, but do feel that same story about the utter meaningless of war and indistinguishable nature of people

an episode idea is one just focused on the nurses. it takes place primarily in post-op with all the different recurring nurse characters. the main cast walks through occasionally as they would in a real episode, but the main storylines are developing nurses like kellye, bigelow, margie cutler (depending on what era you want the episode in) as they talk about their families, home life, relationships at the 4077, etc.

This would be amazing!
