Lestat squeezed Mina’s shoulder. “We love you and you’re our son. Nobody will ever take you away from us precious boy.” Arun nodded and hugged Mina curling into her body for security.
And baby makes three

The building was gothic and imposing. It was a traditional orphanage filled with the unwanted children of the city. They were all in the same uniforms as they played in the front and ran through the building.
Lestat de Lioncourt smiled at his wife, Mina, they were recently married and wanted to add a child to their family. Lestat wanted to save a child already born so they had come to the orphanage to find a child. “This looks grim non?” He asked his wife, “do you think we will find the right child?”

“I will do it if I have to, Armand’s safety is all that matters. I promise he will be safe with me.”
Arun, Amadeo, Armand.
The boy didn’t know what his own name was. He was held down on the bed as the man on top of him moved inside him grunting. He could hear the slap of flesh as it filled the room, feel the hot breath on the back of his neck. The boy closed his eyes and tried to pretend it wasn’t happening, he found it easier to simply leave his body when this happened.
The group in the main lounge of the brothel stood out. For one, they had a woman with them. It was unusual for women to be there unless they were for sale.
Around them, whores of both sexes tried to tempt them or brought refreshments. Moans and screams could be heard from the rooms, and the room was dark lit by candles and filled with perfumed incense.

Lestat took a deep breath and dogs the homeless man carefully peeling away the layers until he found the sound of his thoughts. “I’ve found it”
Mina had no loyalty to her own kind.
She'd never asked for what she was now. Changed by Dracula, she'd lost everything in the span the weeks to a moment when Jonathan died. Dracula had died but Mina was this...thing. Forever doomed to hide from the sun, unable to eat or drink again, cursed to devour blood to survive.
She'd been taken in by a nunnery, the vampire there taught her what she was. He taught her how to fight, how to survive and then Mina got her bearings, got angry and set out to kill any vampire she met.
She drank criminals but even that felt like it was wrong. she despised what she was. Her goal was to wipe out as many vampires as she could and then when she couldn't do that anymore to walk into the sun.
She'd been tracking an old one; he went by the name Magnus in France. She had plenty to do in France. Lots of vampires.
She walked into his tower, the fire ready at her hand to burn him to death with
and that's when she saw him.

Lestat grinned as he fucked Mina fast and hard, he sucked at her nipples holding her body tightly. “You’re mine!”
The Changing of the Guard
Mina Harker knew what he was as soon as she saw him.
It wasn't a jerk in her gut, or a creep in her spine like some would think. She had dormant vampire blood in her veins but it did not give her any special gift beside longevity. she did not heal quickly, she did not have extra strength or speed. Dracula's gift after they killed him was that she was living a very long time. Eternity was a bloody long time to think about
It wasn't even her monster hunter hunting experience that told her what he was. It was his eyes. Those odd eyes that vampires had; she noticed it appearing more and more over the decades. She wondered why it was different with her experience. Dracula had no such features, he would pass as a normal man. And his age made him very powerful but he also had many weaknesses. The new breed also had far less weaknesses than Dracula did. Garlic and holy places did nothing to them and they were getting far more hard to kill.
This one would be hard to kill.
But best see if she could burrow in, he probably had a nest somewhere. Best see where it led her
She lit a cigarette and went to meet his gaze boldy, to see if what he might do.

hello, my darling. if i can even call you that… yes, i’ve been monitoring your online comments. you will delete your online comments at once or i’ll be forced to do something high profile. that’s right, i know all about your little love affair. if you love Luigi Mangione so much, why don’t you go spend eternity with HIM? what does he have that i cannot give you?? it’s the eyebrows, isn’t it… i can take them from him, you know. easily.

Arun looked up at Mina as she spoke. He touched her face trying to think and understand what she said. Lestat quietly fetched a notebook and a pen for him to use if he wanted to talk. Lestat sat across from them and smiled at their son. “Ma Cherie nothing will ever make us get rid of you.”

Lestat called back that he would. He’d made sandwiches, he carried them through then went to get the plate of biscuits he’d made. Health went out the window when everyone was stressed. “Here we go like a picnic!”
