Your local tsunangry warlord is here. After a long round of sickness and being tied down to the bed so he would rest GYOBU!!, he's finally evaded any shaking soldier who would attempt to stop him and alert the person who had the power to make him rest while his limbs were powerless.
But now, he was relatively healthy again. Nothing was going to stop him from going onto his warpath once more.

The Saika Faction has allied with Mitsunari…
I do respect their choice, and I understand why they would make it…it’s only natural to join up with the larger side, isn’t it…?
*sigh*

For the Saika to suddenly call out to the Western army, Mitsunari had barely allowed himself to wait where they had decided. Neither parties were late, but Mitsunari was already there - seeing this was where he resided and had taken to pacing about the area, a hand on his weapon. Not for even half a second did he lower his guard. He would not fall to any ambush, he would not fall to anyone.
Not even Tokugawa Ieyasu.
As he hears his name spoken, Mitsunari head turned to the voice and took a few steps over, eyes slightly narrowed. So it was indeed what they were here for. The tone or body language from the woman wasn't given much thought, even if they were acknowledged. "The terms have not changed. But I do not take well to betrayal. If it is to happen..I will not spare you or a single man that stands in line with you."
@Mitsunari
Magoichi had brought her men to the steps of Osaka Castle, prepared to form a pact with Mitsunari Ishida. She was not positive of the outcome of this conflict or if the Western Army had a chance, but after deliberating she realized a contract with Mitsunari would be the most advantageous to her and her men, no matter the outcome. Besides, with the addition of the Saika, the Western Army had the greatest advantage in her own opinion. Nonetheless, this was going to open a lot of old wounds. Magoichi knew Mitsunari well; she was certain he still held a grudge for the Saika’s betrayal of the Toyotomi and he would not let her forget it. She grinned to herself as she made her way up the stairs, knowing that nothing he could throw at her could phase her. “Mitsunari?” she called out as she entered their agreed upon meeting place. She maintained a cold indifference as he appeared and stepped toward her. “I’ve come to agree to your terms, unless you’ve changed your mind about hiring us?” She folded her arms across her chest, as if challenging him.

Reckless isn't the word. Gyobu will assess them for me. I have no reason to not trust the people that he accepts into the army.
I am not high or mighty like Ieyasu. I merely have my goals set elsewhere, Gyobu can deal with the rest, I need to kill the bastard.
Too high and mighty to work at making allies, hm? Well that is rather like you isn’t it? Not trusting others, yet letting people into your army who you yourself did not personally assess. Reckless as always I see.

...  Hmph. Making agreements with people has never been my job. I left that to Gyobu to deal with. Unless the people need me to personally persuade them with my blade, there isn't much need for me to talk.
You know Mitsunari, you don’t always have to do everything alone. I understand that people cannot be trusted. Ieyasu tried to convince me of the value of relationships, but I will always believe that too much trust placed in others leads to nothing but pain. That is why I will never make permanent alliances. However, it doesn’t mean that agreements between people with mutual goals cannot be formed. I’ve based my life upon that idea. You have a lot more to offer than you think, so much so that it might just in fact be “nice” to have you around.

mercenarymaiden replied to your post: I felt the need to inform you that Ieyasu has been courting me and has just about won me over…I need to know if you are willing to do what it takes to gain me as an ally. If not, consider yourself the Saika’s enemy.
Of course he would try to get me to join his army. My men are the difference between victory and loss and he knows it. I am under the sway of no one though, so please drop the insults before you hurt yourself. Also… its nice to see you again…
I had no doubts he would try to have you in his army.
Hn. I would rather be without an army if I know they would betray me.
With people that would end up leaving - I rather not have them join in the first place. Even if it means going alone.

..is it nice? I don't know why anyone would find my presence 'nice'.

Ieyasu would take the means to courting someone just to have them over in his army?  Despicable. If you are to fall such acts, then the Western army has no need to foolish morons.

Ishida Mitsunari has returned!
It has been many days of walking to and fro from the battlefield. As Mitsunari usually refused to rest at places that weren't Osaka, it could be rather troublesome for the army. Thankfully, Gyobu had been there to persuade him to allow the army to rest.
But they were finally back at the Osaka castle. I doubt you will need more than two guesses to know where Mitsunari had went to first upon arrival. But with persuasion to change and bath, the western leader was no longer drenched in blood, their pale visage no longer standing out due to the dark colored blood over his face and hair.
..Though. He had definitely returned to haunt you all. God knows where he will wander off next time when he goes for an Ieyasu huntstroll.

Why would an enemy not call you chubby? You are. And obviously, it's a way to rile you up to your attack patterns become predictable.
Sakichi had become Takechiyo's sparing partner after they have decided to throw away their spear. Though it was soon that they would stop being addressed as their childhood names..Sakichi was..none too happy about this growth spurt Takechiyo was having.
Position it by his side - if it was a katana, it would still be sheathed - the purple ribbon danced in the wind. A gift from Hanbei-sama. The teen's eyes narrowed as he watches for spots that he could strike with Takechiyo swinging their fists about. He too, strikes, charging forward, but didn't end up unharmed - though he did feel that he managed to whack Takechiyo...somewhere near their head.
Probably flat in the face.
Sakichi
Grr…hold still!
[Takechiyo used Mega Punch!]
