Headcanon collection

Rui (Naruto OC): 

1# Her tail being in the way is very common for her. In her childhood her mother altered or sew her clothing to have a cutout for her tail. When she was older and was able to afford it Rui ordered custom clothing. A pair of comfortable casual pants was also one of the gifts Junichi gave her, during their early relationship.

2# While her tail is still rather flexible and she doesn’t mind sitting on it if she can comfortably adjust it, it is not very muscular. She cannot lift it up and only has minimal control over it. Her tail is mainly an extra fat storage and gives her the ability to go much longer without food than normal humans.

3# Her tail is heavy enough to be used as a heavy and blunt weapon, but because of her limited control over it, Rui only uses it during training or sparring, because of it being rather unreliable and not as precise.

4# When raising her twins, Rui had hoped that her bond with them would be as strong as the bond with her own mother. However they quickly became dependent on each other instead of Rui. She still has a good relationship with them, just not as close as she had wished for.

Myaku (Naruto OC):

1# Before loosing her arms Myaku enjoyed her long hair, putting it into different styles or braiding it. After the loss of her arms she cut it short for practicality and enjoyed her short hair as well. A while after recieving her prostethics she decided to let her hair grow again.

2# Shortly after her recovery her mother took care of her and her needs that she needed assistance with. After her mother passing away, her brother took over the daily care for his sister, even though it initially troubled Myaku because in their childhood they weren’t very close and her issue was the sudden intimacy. However because of that they formed a stronger bond and Myaku has a much closer relationship to her brother.

In her relationship with Omoi she had the same trouble and intimacy issues initially as with her brother and often refused his help. It got better over time, but because of it they had to overcome a few bumps and struggles in their relationship.

When she recieved her prosthetics Myaku decided to move to Kumogakure and move together with him. She still needs help putting on the prostethics and during baths and showers but is now much more independent.

3# While she still is performing her job as Shinobi, she does require someone to accompany her during her missions, which is why she never went onto a solo mission until her mid-twentys, after she adjusted to her prostethics.

Zera & Coal (Mass Effect OCs):

1# After the Reaper War Zera moved into an apartment with Coal, a former Geth mining Unit. They met during the rebuilding of Rannoch and enjoyed the tuime with the Geth. When it came to claming her living space she was the one to make a proposition to Coal and they accepted. The relationship with her parents came under a strain after that, because their view on the Geth remained sceptical and distrusting.

2# Coal was one of the first Units back on Rannoch and to start working on the planets restoration all while adjusting to the changes of the Geth VI and their new individual conciousness.

With a frown on her face, Nori eyed the large orthardian construction. Back in her village most people talked about the large cities and their giant buildings, but it was not quite something for Nori. The apartment tower was almost intimidating, compared what she was used to.

A bit startled she looked at her Xaela friend, that all of the sudden sounded rather nervous. “Oh, I am sure an apartment is not as large of a commitment, my friend.” But it might be a reason to put off the purchase, as neither of the women was quite as excited as before, when they simply pondered over the idea.

“Maybe it would be good to sleep another night over this decision? We don’t need to rush this after all...”, apart from the fact that the housing market was a busy one and said apartment could be gone by the next day. But neither of them seemed quite convinced to go through with their plan. Maybe it would be wise to share an apartment for the time being, an apartment each seemed like quite the workload. A workload they could share if they were willing to also share the little space. “Maybe it would be a good idea to make it a bit less daunting! We could simply share an apartment for now, before we buy one each?”

And there she stood, eyeing at the large apartment building in Shirogane. Not sure if this was really what she wanted. Her hesitation was clearly visible for her friend to pick on to. It was just that it would be much easier to rent a room at Bokairo Inn. Why go through all the hassle of purchasing an apartment? While they talked about it much and they both agreed to purchase an apartment in Shirogane at some point, which was now, she was getting cold feet. How was she going to maintain an apartment…

Before they entered the apartment building, she quickly grabbed her friend’s wrist, “ Nori,” her voice was somewhat nervous, “ is this how you feel before you walk the aisle? Because I’m not sure if I can make such a commitment yet–” Surly a marriage was very different from purchasing an apartment but there was a certain commitment to it too, a commitment she thought to be similar as a marriage. It made her nauseous even.

NOT that her friend knew—it wasn’t like she ever got married… or did she now?

My FFXIV Character turned into a Mass Effect OC. The most fitting was an Asari and yay for me finally getting back into Art. (Only has been like a year haHaa since I last was active here.)

Zera’Maer grew up on the Iyeemi being thaught everything necessary before being sent on her pilgrimage. She was being trained and had a certain talent and knowledge abof out the extranet and programming, as well as the local security. She enjoyed helping with it. Her idea was to pursue her interest in the field on the patrol fleet. But on her pilgrimage she was met with mistrust and her own waryness of anything shady hadn’t gotten her anywhere at that point. After several months and visiting a few smaller colonies she wanted to go to the citadel. However getting there wasn’t possible by normal means or spending huge amounts of credits. Those weren’t available to her. Zera took the risk of boarding a carrier that was headed into the Serpent Nebula. However before reaching the Mass Relay, Terminus Pirates held an attack on the ship and overtook the piloting. Zera and the crew of the carrier were handled harshly by the pirates, resulting them having to do hard labour until a decision by the pirated was made. They’d either be more useful as exploited labourers or or sold to a slavery ring.

The experience had been a traumatic event and there was no support of the former carrier crew who distanced themselves from the young quarian. After approximately 10 days an alliance unit made attempts to recover the crew and ship from the pirates. Those attemts kept being futile until Zera took an attempt at overriding the ships security, allowing the alliance to gain the upper hand and recover the vessel and it’s inhabitants safely.

During the chaos of the recovery Zera manged to sneak into several security programms, as well as data about the improvised fuel management of the Pirates. When found by the alliance officers they were mildly suspicious but after the confirmation that she was a victim as well they offered her a ride to the next destination of the Migrant Fleet.

The young Quarian didn’t want any further risk and was tired out by the whole experience, so gladly took the offer. Zera arrived safely and brought the gained information to the Tesleya. She was accepted as the newest crewmember and with that achieved one of her dreams. However the means of reaching it left her traumatized. While working and studying she was being treated for her PTSD.

She took no big part in the war for Rannoch or the Reaper war apart from stabilizing and optimizing the security in the Fleet itself.

Coal lived behind the Veil with the other Geth, maintaining their mobile platforms and processing information. When it became apparent that the War between the Geth and Quarians could escalate, together with the Old Machines approaching the mobile platforms were prepared for War.

Coals platform allows a range of 764 programs inside, all working with the information Legion provided. After Legion sacrificed itself in order to bring the Reaper upgrades to all Geth and Sheperd was able perform a miracle and soothe the Quarians to withdraw their attack.

Coal got assigned to assist the allied forces in the War against the Reapers. As a former Mining unit from before the Morning War it had recieved Infiltration upgrades to serve as Hunter Unit. The Geth Unit recieved green stripes on his armour to mark it’s individuality, after a few friendly fire incidents from allied soldiers. After the success of the War and the destruction of the Reapers the Geth were stripped of their upgrades but were still welcomed on Rannoch.

Zera was still troubled by her illness, as well as the adjustments to live on Rannoch took a great deal out of her. The controlled and stable life she had built was gone and many of her crew members were busy rebuilding and researching for the new life on their homeplanet.

She had no history with the Geth, everything they knew about the Morning War was one sided and they had to give the synthetics another chance. The only way of achieving that was working together and without any personal connection and no deeply rooted hatred for the Geth, Zera was one of the Quarians that gave them chance. Her father encouraged her to assign herself to a programm of working with the Geth, to also ease her mental troubles of not having to live alone and have support in case of her facing more episodes and being unable to deal with them alone.

It was Coal that got assigned to help her living on her own and adjusting to the changes. It was a big help to her and also improved the Geths understanding  of organic behaviour.

Okay, so far so good. Quick input: I personally headcanon the destroy ending to not destroy all organics but their reaper upgrades (and the reapers ofc). I didn’t feel like I had enough information to work with the synthesis ending and that’s why I settled for this. it all may change though.

Haven’t uploaded in ages cuz i forgot my mail and password after logging out by accident... Need a shipname for my new quarian babe. (Maybe this will be a couple??? I generally pair up anythign that isn’t nailed into a coffin or the ground.)

Also why is it that my lines look far better than my coloured stuff???? im like wth is uo with that. stop it.

For a short moment she pressed her lips together, using her left arm stump to brush hair out of her face.

The fuzzball was in a rather defensive stance, covering the woman from any harm. Yet they were weak rodents, most of the Kirigakure Shinobi’s had predatory summons but actual prey. and even if it was an oversized rodent, it still was merely a fluffy ball of fur. It certainly looked cute though.

“Are you even able to read that map? Like that.” She pointed at it because the capybara was looking at the map upside-down.

It wasn’t unusual for the Chunin ranked to be sent outside, yet still with this position they didn’t let her do any of the “real” Missions alone. Her visible disablity made even the Mizukage consider it when sending Myaku off. So this so titled “Mission” was leading her merely half an hour away out of the village to pick up something important for the Sensor-nin unit. Myaku still suspected the whole “Chunin promotion” to be a swindle, at least her own. Because there was nothing important about this mission, other than to keep her busy.

The yelling of a stranger made her more alert, even though there was only one voice it sounded like they were talking to another person? Maybe it was once of these new fancy electronic things. Weird stuff.

But upon reaching the path the stranger was standing it, Myaku spottet the oversized furry creature that the woman was yelling at. Even now with the view to the sound it was still a strange picture.

With that Myaku simply stood there, staring at this uncommon pair that was blocking the path. “Why are you yelling at it?” The bug furball gained her pity upon watching how the woman wanted to hit it.

So, this was why she’d travel with either her brother-in-law and accompanied by a new batch of Genin or only the Genin. Why? Because she was lost, lost AGAIN! Obviously map reading wasn’t her strongest point, no. NOT AT ALL! And what do you say? She was once a Kunoichi herself? The ‘once’ part is suddenly very clear, yes. Crystal clear I might add. Anyway, this didn’t helped her at this point, she was lost and in need of a hero to save his damsel in distress from, well—from herself…

“ Where the hell am I…” a sound in protest, “ we—we… sorry–” A just as good map reader accompanied the clerk, her just as sassy Ninja pet, Kusa, “ You’re horrible, you know! You’re supposed to protect me and—OUCH!” A gnawed was given to, “ YOU STUPID RODENT!!!” Before she could smack the oversized rodent, it quickly dodged the hand. At least dodging wasn’t a problem it seemed. Too bad it couldn’t read maps…

Was there someone to help these two…? Probably not…

Shipping this far too much though, having read so many fanfics on ao3 (shoutout to the writers, redcandle17, juliettdelta and FancyLadySnackCakes!!!)  it got contagious and I wanna write one too now. Even though I’d probably need a beta-reader to correct my spelling and general awkwardness with writing ;3;

Anywayssss I am sailing this ship so hard idek how this happened. I don’t even know how any of this happened, that I suddenly went full-on into Mad Max…

Collects rocks: Jar, for research to send to the fleet. Especially after claiming back Rannoch, ground stuff and rocks are sooo important! Though maybe Lliana would start after Jar tells her the importance of the ”mission”

Takes pictures of the other while they’re asleep: Lliana, she strikes me as the one taking photos of lots of things and surely of a Quarian sleeping next to her. Jar doesn’t mind, but he probably isn’t really taking photo’s, other than for monitoring purposes.

Gets drunk and breaks shit: Neither, both can get drunk though. Neither of them are aged or experienced enough with alcohol to know their limits. Jar is older for a Quarian but isn’t experienced with alcohol. However neither Jar nor Lliana seem to be aggressive, even if drunk. Maybe Jar, if it clashes with his jealousy.

Can’t swim: Jar, never been to a pool and Quarians in enviro-suits probably aren’t suited for swimming. Lliana surely knows how to swim.

Remembers to feed the fish: Lliana, she probably is more caring towards animals, even fish. So if it wouldn’t be an automatic thing, Lliana would have to remember, unless she manage to put a memo for fish feeding into Jar’s suit.

Puts up Christmas decorations in November: Difficult, because Christmas wouldn’t be a thing for Quarians nor Asari. General early decorating for festivities though, that could be both. Jar is excited for Quarian holidays and I imagine Lliana enjoys decorating a lot. // I also believe she has a super well decorated house.

Sends inappropriate texts and SnapChats while the other is in a meeting: Lliana. She knows how awkward Jar gets and I can imagine this would be a funny prank for her to do, especially if Jar isn’t nearby and has to stay on the fleet. Haha u///u Jar surely could send inappropriate text at inappropriate times too, but he wouldn’t do it on purpose.

Makes Sims just to drown them in the pool: I think both would play the sims, but Jar would be the one finding quick death traps, like drowning them in the pool for fun. (Sims are based on humans after all)

Brings the other coffee at work: Lliana could only bring him coffee if he’s doing paperwork, managing things without the ship. But work usually requires his ship, so there aren’t many possibilities. Jar would prepare some food for Lliana though and bring it to her during her break.

Takes gym locker room selfies:  Lliana. She’d be super hot, working out anyways, so why not take selfies? Jar has his enviro suit, which I ehadcanon as doing most of the working out stuff for him. All the other working out he does during military training so there is no gym required.

Signs them up for tennis lessons and a salsa-making class: Doing weird human stuff together? I can’t see either be interested into that, but I guess Lliana would sign them up. Jar would rather discuss such things beforehand.

Forgets to charge the other’s iPad and leaves it dead on the coffee table: Jar, he would definately forget. probably even after using it himself until it’s dead and then not charging it.
