Azula was greatly disturbed by what she was hearing- how could a lack of bending purify someone? Why would these people claim non-benders are better than benders? She wouldn’t lie and say non-benders were beneath benders, inadequate in comparison- after all, she wouldn’t have taken up with Mai and Ty Lee, if that were true- but to say non-benders were more pure? She wanted to laugh.

Then again, this place was strange enough to her that she suspected it could be true, that benders had begun oppressing the non-benders- something she wouldn’t agree with. Whoever this man was, the people were thoroughly supportive of him. He was quite enigmatic and charismatic, which she was sure couldn’t hurt.

It didn’t pass Azula’s attention that he had seen her, and she crossed her arms, lifting a curious brow. His words, his recognition of her, made her smirk, a silent pride on her face. Well, wherever she was, at least they could tell who was relevant.

The order to capture her made her shoot the leader a wolfish, wicked grin. Oh, that was cute. He thought they’d get away with that? Of course they wouldn’t.

Azula jumped up and did a perfect windmill kick, hot, blue fire coming from her hands and feet as she spun in the air before she landed. She wasn’t going to be taken down so easily.

The moment Amon saw her move, he moved as well. With a run and a jump off the stage, electrified glove placed neatly over his hand, he stood there. 

The cause would benefit from such a capture and he wasn’t only going let his supporters try and obtain her themselves. 

He stood in the middle of the crowd. Eyes bore directly at the former princess. And the glove on his hand sparked with electricity. 

“Tell me, princess, what brings an old royal -- like yourself -- to a place like this?” He asked. “And with such a young appearance, too, as if you hadn’t aged a day since the war.”
