God’s plans for you are too big for you right now. Your present suffering is God stretching you, and preparing you to fit into the purpose your were created to fulfill. You are building muscle, your faith is growing steadily. Be patient, you are going to do great things.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say to be nice. It says to be kind, to be gentle. to be respectful, to give careful instruction when someone is messing up. Nice is way below all those things, because nice gets used as an excuse to never stand your ground and never have the courage (a virtue the Bible does call us to exercise) to say something that needs to be said.

You’re never too broken to not be used by God. You’re never too dirty to be loved by God. You’ll never make enough mistakes to make God turn His back on you. You are not powerful enough to ruin God’s plans for you. It’s never too late to offer God your heart (even if it’s beating a little slower than you’d like it to.)
If you are breathing you have a purpose. There is someone out there who needs to hear the words you have to speak. There is someone out there who needs that hug you have to give. There is someone out there who needs to see your scars. There is someone out there who needs you, plain and simple.
You have been given a life for a reason: you were knitted together for a purpose.
Even the darkest nights turn into morning. Don’t let your pain overshadow your future.
Perhaps you were created for such a time as this. Esther 4:14
Don’t let your fear hold you captive. Don’t let your shame chain you. Don’t let your shame fool you. Don’t let your guilt trap you. Don’t let your doubt control you.
Tell your demons to get lost. You have work to do.

Marry a man who only has eyes for you.  Marry a man who can control his gaze from the temptations of the world because he respects you.  Marry someone who will go the extra mile to make you feel loved because if it isn’t raw, passionate, deep love… it isn’t worth it. Marry a man who hears the change in your voice and recognizes that you’re hurting inside.  Life is too short to have a love that is ordinary.  Marry someone who doesn’t need his body to touch you because sometimes words are more than enough to make us feel things we have never felt. Marry someone who recognizes how special your heart is and treats it with the utmost care and love.  Don’t marry someone who is reckless with your emotions. Â
Don’t settle.  Don’t accept less than you deserve because you deserve a love that takes you to places you never even imagined.  This love doesn’t always come easy, it takes work… but falling in love with this person will be effortless.Â

Reminder: If you woke up this morning with breath in your lungs and a heartbeat God isn’t finished with you yet. You still have a divine purpose to fulfill and you have a reason to live wholeheartedly. Don’t get discouraged if you are in a difficult season today. Don’t doubt God if the chapter you find yourself in is painful and taking longer than you expected. It won’t last forever. Eventually, you will enter a new chapter with Him. And you will thank Him for getting you through and making you stronger because of it. But for now just keep on going and keep on trusting. Your story is not over yet.

When Jesus looked down from the cross, he didn’t think “I am giving myself to you because you are so attractive to me.” No, he was in agony, and he looked down at us - denying him, abandoning him, and betraying him - and in the greatest act of love in history, he STAYED. He said, “Father, forgive them, they don’t know what they are doing.” He loved us, not because we were lovely to him, but to make us lovely.

Most Christians only point fingers of judgment at the world because they themselves still crave the sin the world enjoys. They still lust after sin so they want the people of the world to be punished for being able to do the things they deeply desire to do, but would never admit to. Believers that are fully satisfied in Christ need not point fingers of condemnation but rather open arms of beckoning saying come! Feast on Christ, a much more fulfilling prize than sin.
