hey so like. i retired this blog a while ago due to some personal (mostly mental health related) reasons, but within the past 30 ish minutes or so, i realized i have no interest in being kind to this community anymore and i am going to be telling you all the truth about how i feel about this community.
i will be honest, the reason i initially quit was only partially due to mental health. the rest of it is honestly that this community is absolutely vile and full of some of the nastiest people i have ever seen online who have zero idea how to treat a character who is a minor.
the amount of excessive gore, violence and physical/psychological torment this fandom is obsessed with writing, drawing and posting of a character depicted as a LITERAL CHILD has disgusted me since i made this blog.
a friend of mine posted a few screenshots of danny and vlad bickering and captioned it something fun. and the tags in the reblogs were all pr0ship stuff. i did some digging into the blogs who added these tags. they are full of n0nc0n, p3d0, and other absolutely revolting content. within minutes of the post going up, these tags were added.
i have kept my mouth shut for too long but after seeing the way people have responded to an innocent post with perverted and disgusting comments, i can safely say i will not be returning. there is no need for me to ignore it anymore.
i hope some of you seek help. you really fucking need it.
