Another reason I love Tony and Bruce’s relationship is because of how organic it is. No tricks or tropes, they’re just two people who met and fell in love formed natural bond. It didn’t take long for them get along. Not only was there natural chemistry, there was mutual respect. This why the therapy scene rubs me the wrong way sometimes, because while it’s cute and it shows intent that Bruce doesn’t want to hurt Tony I STILL BELIEVE he would have listened without falling asleep. Tony has always had his back and wanted Bruce to feel comfortable with him.
