The prodigal son didn’t come back for the “right” reasons. He came back because his life was a mess and he was starving
He came back for no other reason than he’d hit rock bottom and he knew he’d at least have food back home
Regardless, his father welcomed him back with open arms and threw an elaborate celebration anyway
God doesn’t care why you come back
Just come home

my brother and I don't say "mcdonalds" when referring to the fast food chain. we've always said "mcnaldo's", then it became "naldo's". now it's simply "nald". and we always refer to it as a single unit. like "do you want a nald?"

“Abortion is good, because every child should be a wanted child.”
There is something malicious behind this seemingly benevolent reasoning. Every child should be received with love. But in an ableist society, a wanted child is an able child. In a white supremacist society, a wanted child is a white child. In a sexist society, a wanted child is a boy. Wanted children are children who don’t cry too much, who aren’t neurodivergent or high needs or sensitive or emotional. Quiet, play nicely, don’t complain. Normal children who appeal to the dominant ideology are “the good ones.”
Abortion might make every born child a wanted child. But in so doing, it eliminates the “undesirables”. When we start to categorize human beings as “wanted” or not, based on anything at all, and then decide to “keep” them or throw them away based on this, that is a sign we are already living in a deeply prejudiced and eugenicist society. Abortion enables and facilitates this.
Every child should be wanted — including the unwanted.

Do you ever feel like you don't matter? I think all of us do sometimes. But here's something to keep in mind:
-There was a girl in elementary school who stood up for me when others made fun of my nervous habits. We haven't talked in years. I think about her all the time.
-A kid I didn't know who found me crying and hugged me made me to decide to stay alive for another night, even though we're complete strangers.
-There's a girl at my new school who probably just thinks that we're acquaintances, but she smiled at me on my first day, and for that, I will be forever grateful to her.
-There was a boy in my english class a few years back who was always quiet and withdrawn. I always hoped that he was okay and that he would reach out if he needed anything, and that made me realize it was okay for me to ask for help too.
My point? There are people in your life who think about you and care about you more than you ever know - you might not be aware of them. I'm thinking of you and sending love your way. You matter, and the world is better with you in it.
