Ok .1 I really, REALLY like this. This is awesome art and I love the attitude & personality they put into Kris.
2. Looking at this picture and being one of the peeps who really likes the player-is-actually-possessing-kris idea/theory, this really adds a new element to it: the idea that both Kris and the Player is part of Gaster’s experiments. Kris being the only human in a monster community and capable of being possessed by a Player’s “Soul” (ergo why he ripped the soul out and chucked it into the cage at the end of chapt 2), and the Player who was lured into the game via the body survey and who was supposed to have a vessel, only to have it discarded by the MAN BEHIND THE SCREEN and find themselves in Kris’s body instead.
The idea that all that is part of Gaster’s experiment is really mindboggling and super neat to think about!
