that INTP moment when you don't answer any phone calls to the point that a friend comes knocking on your door but you still won't respond no matter how hard they try

@intp-again oh, how can I forget about that- smh
INTP summer aesthetic
• books, lots of books; books on shelves, books on the desk, book under bed, half unread, almost completed
• a lot of midnight contemplations
• period dramas
•summery conspiracy theories and documentaries
• attempted skin care routine; done one day, ditched the next
• new music filling up the locked room
•open room window at evenings, feeling summer breeze
•hanging out with one or two friends once every 3 weeks
•not answering half of the phone calls received
•ditching almost everyone from work, school, uni environment
•lazily attempting to write or draw

Hi :) If you want to add something type-related to your summer activities, there's some little-known but very important information about MBTI that maybe you want to check out: all the famous "function stacks" that tend to be taken for granted are incorrect (since Myers). They only refer to superficial traits that go with different combinations of letters (“Ne” as NP-traits, “Fi” as FP-traits, etc), not to the real functions. I have some long posts explaining the problem, if you’re interested :)
oh hey there. ive read about that somewhere, but didnt dig deep enough, i assume. would you like to share more?

I couldn’t have said it any better.
Do you ever just start spending a lot of time around a certain person after a long period of being alone and that person starts occupying almost all of your thoughts and you start getting scared because you may lose yourself in the process of trying to understand that person, you also start picking up their habits unconsciously and you’re no longer certain if you’re still being you or you’re somewhat copying them OR they just simply unleash a certain attitude in you that you never knew it existed before and you just overthink it every night before going to bed and you start wondering what it was like before this person comes but you can’t actually remember even significant details

INTPs hypersensitivity to relationships is so frustrating. First, we are very VERY selective. And not only are we slow to catch up with someone, but we also can ruin anything we have built with that someone in a blink of an eye, just with a few harsh words and a long period of passive aggressiveness. The person may be dear to our hearts but we hurt them willingly and we hurt oursleves in the process, and that’s mysteriously satisfying for a while. But then it’s followed by an overwhelming feeling of guilt.

Stereotype:
INTP: I have no feelings.
Reality:
INTP: I wish I had no feelings.

as an INTP, when I’m battling procrastination, I usually think of how amazed and impressed the people i’m surrounded by (teachers, classmates, co-workers, etc) would be if i do 1% of the required work because i know damn well that i’m too good at what i’m doing. such thoughts tend to give me a push and rid me of my procrastination. in fact, i don’t care what people think of me, but when it comes to my work, the slightest compliments are highly appreciated, so i use that as a starting point to get my work done.

reblog if you’re an INTP and the MBTI test made you both understand yourself more and question yourself even more and you’re no longer sure if the descriptions are truly relatable or your brain is playing tricks on you

INTPs are not underachievers. They’re just always placed in the wrong situations, with unfavourable circumstances to be productive. For instance the hectic atmosphere of the daily routine a.k.a modern life kills an INTP from the inside.

imagine being forced into doing the same thing everyday which includes going to school/college/work, meeting people, smiling back at people when they smile at you in order not to sound rude, engaging in non-intellectual everyday talks and gossips, staying away from the things that actually keep you motivated like isolation, being forced to exchange social media accounts with other people, being forced to go out with a group of people because everyone else said so and you can’t just say no, like?????? WHY YOU NO LET ME INTP PEACEFULLY.
