I was hungry and instead of eating a bunch of cookies I wanted, I cut up two cucumbers and I'm not even half way through and don't feel so hungry anymore :)

Intro <3
It's the new year which means we have a clean slate to start or make more progress towards our goals!
My name is Alex and for me that's losing weight. I've always been "the big girl" and the way my weight sits on me takes away from my quality of life and doing the things I want to be able to do. There are literally so many exercises I physically can't do because of my fat getting in the way and I can't say how many times I've chosen not to go to events because I can't find any clothes to fit me the way I want them to. Other people who are big for their height can almost definitely relate to me here.
I'm really tired of it and I want a change, an actual real noticeable change. Though in 2024 I started to take small steps towards myself after leading a pretty sedentary life, I'm fully committed and choosing me in 2025.
Current habits (will update)
Min. 1.5L water/ day
Min. 8k steps/ day
Cardio 2-3x per week for min. 1 hour in the form of dance
Allowing myself only 4 sweet treats throughout the week (as a binging control)
Sleeping min. 7 hours everyday
Portion control
Reading and/or journaling for at least 30 mins every day
I know none of this seems like much but it's all in the small steps :)
Goals and stats

Current weight: 192lbs (honestly I haven't looked at my weight since a few months ago since scales make me anxious but in the spirit of accountability, I will do a weigh in soon)

I'll reward myself with something any time I hit a goal within the next year. Realistically, I am determined to hit 140 by 2026 but not much below that. Those are there just in case I end up doing more than I think I will and will be what we work towards next year!
