The story of how my job killed my dream (well maybe not yet)
So I worked as a chef in a 'chinese' bar for a while. Cooking involved lifting 3kg bags of frozen meat, then 5-6kg woks full of cooked meat and boiling water that could easily spill on your hands and cover them in blisters, make them ugly for a monts and so on. Just regular kitchen job. But. The problem was that all the veg, prawns, noodles etc had to be flipped by certain movement of your dominant hand (unless you're not human and can do it with the other one. That just doesnt happen). That movement had massive impact on my future-to-be-or-not dissability. I'm not gonna go deeply into medical terminology, nobody cares enough to remember all that babling anyways. Simply my tendon is surrounded by bunch of fibrosis that should never be there. According to the docs they could be there for few years (may have started when I played violin), but doing this certain job made it so much worse, i had to go through 7 days of phisiotheraphy with strange machines that in my opinion just caused more pain; also now I need to wear this iron man sleeve at all time except maybe for shower.
(Thats my iron man arm. And my doggy for scale <3)
My meds make me sleepy and unendurable for people to hang out with me most of the time. So for now I had to quit my job with the perspecive of possibility of not being able to work as a chef again. So my dilema now is if I should keep saving up for my cooking school. Cause I could like fly to vegas and get drunk or something...to ease the pain lol
But for now my only free time entertainment is cinema. I honestly think that the purchase of cineworld unlimited card was the best thing Ive ever done. During first month with my card, Ive seen 15 movies. Which is actually kinda sad.. oh well. I guess I can't have it all ;)
Ill still try to post some foodporn every now and then.
Stay chilled.

The bliss of being President! I get to do all the boring stuff like sending a million emails, deciding upon the size of balloons, budget spending, meetings, sposnosors etc.. URGH my brain felt like collapsing yesterday. Total System Overload! But it was great seeing you all though. Afterwards, Alina and I went down to Bos'n to review some minor details for the event on Thursday. It's looking brilliant.
Ps. I guess the best part of being president is I have VETO right. #VladimirPutin hahahah! :)

10 questions to... VP.
1. My origin- well, I'm half Polish half Russian, lived in Poland for most of my life, can speak both languages tho. My parents tried really hard to raise me as a good and well educated kiddo. That idea died around my 13th birthday. Wonder why? This is what I've become hahaha:
Okey, I wasn't that bad. I was indeed very rebellious, wearing my shocking outfits and hanging out with other rebellious teens. But I was still smart enough to get straight A's (almost all the time, okey) while hangover. So I guess that's a win for me?
2. My Goal(s)
I want to be around food. I can make food, I can eat food and then write about it, I can just eat and not write about it. Whatever. No, but for real, all I want is to be a chef. And not the type of "chef" that I am right now in my noodle bar. I want to go to Le Cordon Bleu and graduate from Patisserie Diploma (that's making cakes and stuff). After that, when I pay back all my debts (that I will probably have to borrow for my tuition)....I want to do Chef de cuisine diploma, which is gonna cost even more, yay me!
No worries, you'll hear about me soon enough. Omnomnom.
3. My biggest dream
Well basically becoming a chef. Also I want to get married to my beloved in Vera Wang dress. Can be Vivienne Westwood, no pressure, won't be picky. Oh and I want a pair of Loubies to match!
yeah I guess this could be mine.
4. My favourite book
Oh boy, there's so many. Harry Potter. Or no, maybe Narnia...or maybe Memories of Geysha...
Okey. Let's go with Harry Potter, because I know it by heart, always coming back to it when I'm sad, know all about it and I'm writing this post wearing Slytherin tshirt. This series was with me through my quite rough childhood and certain characters shaped me a little. #potterheadforever #mugglesproblems #sirusblackisback
And oh lord, Alice in Wonderland. A bit psycho but loved it!
5. My favourite movie
Probably don't have one.
I love everything by Tim Burton, starting with Edward finishing on Vincent. Love every single one of those creepy movies. And Johnny Depp, duh.
Dsney. OMG I'm such a kid. I love Disney (everything but Frozen, hated this shit ughh).
And STAR WARS <3333 Seen all the parts more time that I care to admit. And I do have hope for new ones, after all Avengers were made by Disney as well.
Oh yeah, I love Marvel movies too.
6. Who's my inspiration
Julia Child-even tho she's said to be a bitch, I admire her drive. First woman to graduate from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, after all.
Gordon Ramsay-boy, this man has it! I would love to have a fight with him over any dish, even if the last thing I'd do in my life haha
Capitan America- yes, I know it's a fictional character, but I admire the idea of someone being this good and righteous.
My boyfriend-for not killing me yet.
7. Best song ever
Hmmmm.... I love metal and rock music, but I think the best song ever would be certain musical piece. I heard it for the first time when I was like 5 or something and it made me want to dance so badly! Also my mummy singing along even tho she has no knowledge of lyrics to this day. There is is:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPRHEqfm1JY
If you're not singing along, you're probably dead.
8. Favourite pop-culture icon
James Dean. The Rebel without a cause. What is there not to love, like for real, it was my first celebrity crush. Oh and he shaped a cartain generation for sure. <3
9. Favourite movie character
Wolverine, 100% always. I know that first 3 xmen movies were a bit crap, but the character of Wolverine has just the right level of anger, passion and agression. And the way he looks just makes me go meaoooowwwww. #inlovewithfictionalcharacter
10. My biggest accomplishment.
Being independent I guess? Oh and this cake:
Well, that's all to know about me I guess.
Peace!

Sleepless. Tired, but at the same time frustrated that Norwegian sold me a ticket that promised me Wi-Fi that is now malfunctioning. So my brilliant idea to blog from the sky is obviously not happening. Instead I’ll be publishing this when I reach planet earth and accessible network. LOL. So anyway, uni starts tomorrow. What a joke. In case you haven’t noticed already (and I promise you, you will eventually....) calling Scottish higher education challenging, is to exagurate. Uni will be a piece of cake and the next four years will teach you everything and anything about life in general but nothing siginificant to your education really. If you’r used to producing heavy 6,000 word essays full of references to Kierkegaard, Jung and whoever else you can say goodbye to those days. The evenings spent quoting Hemingway and Albert Camus will soon be replaced by 1.50 drinks and 75p jaegerbombs at some trashy venue full of your drunk peers, classmates, flatmates, people you’ve bumped into on the street and everyone else. Aberdeen has its bliss and opportunities, soon enough you too will realize this. Go hard or go home, but be sure to make your time in Aberdeen worth it. On my way to Aberdeen now :) Thankfully ScotRail has functioning wi-fi. Got these new bad boyz yesterday. Every girl needs fabulous sneakers! #UrbanFashion

To all you who have just moved/will be moving to Aberdeen. Welcome to the most corrupt, rough and deceitful town in all of Scotland. This city is ruled by money, oil, bitches and gold diggers. (and nightclub promoters, who mostly do money laundry or pimping) Stay tuned and we will teach you the do's and dont's in what is nicknamed "RackCity" Enjoy the next 4 years! XoXoX President

Why Scotland will never be a Scandinavian state of welfare
So as some of you might know I injured my foot quite badly. I was sent home from the AE after seeing a nurse for 5 minutes. For some reason she decided to take my temperature and blood pressure. (Whatever that has to do with my foot, fuck knows?) She then asked me a bazillion question on what had happened. I explained that my foot suddenly swelled up overnight and the next morning I could not stand up. I was sent home, jumping on one leg with the explanation “ you’ve not had an accident, this is not an emergency” I called my GP the next morning and was told the next available appointment was the following week and either way they could do nothing as my foot had to be x-rayed. (This is apparently something only Aberdeen Royal Infirmary do) FYI! The receptionist on the phone was equally as confused as to why I had been sent home from the AE in the first place. IDIOTS. Frustrated with the entire situation I managed to get to the airport the following day as I was sure that something was severely wrong. This was not a twist or the result of a contraction/jump/stupid extreme manoeuvre or anything similar. This was pain in its most brutal form. The decision to go home so suddenly was mostly pain but also loneliness. I suddenly felt so dependant on my flatmate and my closest friends. I did not want to be a burden to anyone. My stubbornness and desire to be independent resulted in several failed attempts to do anything by myself around the house. Thursday: Touch down, Stockholm Arlanda, Airport – the best feeling ever. Speaking my own language, being assisted out the airport in a wheel chair, and seeing my family in the arrival hall was exactly what I needed. I was sent straight to the emergency at the closest hospital and was examined – x rayed and diagnosed within 24 hours. The verdict: I have a muscular calcification in my left foot for what is yet, an unknown reason. This has in turn given me a heavy inflammation in the muscle and made me unable to walk without painkillers. The organization of Sweden, the scrutiny and the transparency of medical journals between hospitals, doctors and practices across the city ensured that the doctor knew my exact medical history and my previous injuries. I was not sent home, I was taken seriously, I was cured. (at least for now) Sweden is a mess right now, with right-wing extremist parties growing, racism is now in the open and everyday life is not what it used to be. But my beloved Sweden brought me to life, gave me the best education ever, gave me possibilities, security and health. In comparison, Scotland has a very long way to go. Even though healthcare here is free, it is not. You might as well just overdose on paracetamol while you wait in the waiting area because, that’s what the doctors will tell you to do anyway. Like Maragaret Thatcher once said; There’s no such thing as a free lunch”
