some days were easier to accept that she was no longer welcome back to france, her family, the royals, made it plain in their statement that margot was an embarrassment to them. she was given the freedom to travel and to do charitable work under the condition that she would not be involved in any scandals. margot let her bodyguard go after twenty two years of service protecting her, and gave her a reasonable amount of money to leave, despite the protests. but the embarrassment is on her features behind the dark sunglasses she is wearing, to protect herself from crying from the self hatred of years of her family embarrassing her each and single time. the spread of word of the shock announcement was made worse by the journalists, especially by the journalist in paris, who debated why the princess decided to spread her wings to america, and the comments underneath made her wish she could not understand her native tongue.
❛ i .. ❜ she begins, her fingers around the coffee cup as she tries to hold her threatening tears from spilling out, looking at @clochanam. ❛ i don’t understand them. i don’t know what made them say that. ❜ she hates her accent, the way the french spills over each word at the end of the sentence. ❛ i can’t go on social media. my phone is blowing up with notifications. i didn’t bring my phone with me. ❜ she groans when she realises she’s being dramatic, and that there are people out there that have bigger problems than this. ❛ they make me hate myself even more. i was never worthy enough to be like them, they made that clear, and i just want to hide away from the world forever. ❜

❛ i’m not welcome at court. ❜ princess margot says as she brings up her goblet of wine to her lips. ❛ what i do with my own time and business is no concern of yours, ❜ her father would be astonished at her lack of respect for the other, but she had no intentions of staying, the idea of poisoning him thrilled her, to say the least, but she doesn’t need that information to be spread. ❛ so i request for you to leave me alone. ❜ she says to @mostardent1y with a scowl on her features.

A FEW VARIOUS SENTENCE STARTERS
❝ i wouldn't find the need to tell you 'i told you so' if you weren't so allergic to admitting i'm right. ❞
❝ there are better hills to die on but i find this one quite comfortable. ❞
❝ would you come with me please? i adore your company. ❞
❝ that's not the worst thing i've ever heard but it's certainly up there. ❞
❝ i would love to help you but i'm afraid i'm suffering from a terrible case of 'it's not my problem.' ❞
❝ could you just think about anyone other than yourself for once? ❞
❝ i'm not going to stand here and argue with you about how much you need to get some rest. if i find you passed out on the floor i'm leaving you there. ❞
❝ would you be a dear and shut the hell up. ❞
❝ i know i need help but i'm not quite ready to ask for it. ❞
❝ do you know where we're going or are we just trying to get lost now? ❞
❝ i have confided this in you, please do not betray that trust. ❞
❝ do you like it here? with me? ❞
❝ are you still happy? with me, i mean. with us. ❞
❝ i didn't lie, i simply presented a selective truth. ❞
❝ do you actually like spending time with me? because i feel like all you do is argue. ❞
❝ one of us will eventually have to have the strength to be honest with ourselves about each other. ❞
❝ i want to tell you something i just need a moment to figure out the right words. ❞
❝ if you were the religious type i would challenge god to win your devotion. ❞
❝ don't tell me to quit being melodramatic it's the only time i have any fun. ❞
❝ were you ever going to tell me or were you just going to make me guess what you're thinking and feeling. ❞
