29) Do you have a story that you feel doesn’t get as much love as you’d like?
30) In contrast to 29 is there a story which gets lots of love which you kinda eye roll at?
31) Send me a fic recommendation and I’ll post it for my followers to see! (The asker is to send the rec not the answerer)

Blue Ocean - Chapter Five
AN: Chapter five is finally here. Enjoy!
Pairing: Saul Silva x reader
You don’t know for how long you and Saul sit there. All you know is the feeling of his hand around yours, the way you both seem to breathe at the same time. Neither of you say anything but there’s no need. The silence is comforting and you watch a pair of birds flying low over the pond. A ping from Sauls mobile startles the both of you, and you look over at him to see him frowning at the screen. He lets go of your hand and the chilling feeling in your gut returns, making you wrap your arms around you.
“Do you wanna grab some breakfast? It’s almost half past eight,” Saul has pocketed his mobile and is looking nervously at you. You’re just about to answer when a ping from your own mobile interrupts. It’s a text from Farah.
“We’re on our way to breakfast, you and Saul coming? - Farah”.
“It seems like my sister thinks we should join them, so sure,” you smile and stand up, waiting for him to join you. You start to walk back towards the school, Saul silently walking next to you. On impulse, you reach out and grab his hand again. You’re still confused about the whole thing but you have never felt this calm around anyone. Sauls whole body straightens up when you grab his hand and he gives it a light squeeze, smiling in your direction. You smile back and the two of you keep walking, your hands swinging slightly between you. By the time you reach the entrance, you hesitate slightly. Sensing your discomfort, Saul lets go of your hand.
“It’s alright, I meant it when I said slow. It’s okay if you don’t want to tell anyone yet,” he smiles at you. “Thanks, I’m still confused and I just don’t know how to act,” lacing your hands together, you shrug your shoulders and look up at him, trying to make him understand that you don’t want to hurt his feelings but you need some space. He seems to get it, because he just smiles again and gestures towards the door.
“We should head inside, before your sister comes looking then,” you’re almost over the threshold when you realise that you’re still wearing his jumper. Showing up to breakfast in it wouldn’t be the smartest right now. You unzip it and hands it over to Saul, who takes it and shrugs it over his shoulders. He must be thinking the same thing because he don’t say anything about you handing it back.
“Thanks for letting me borrow it,” you miss the warmth his jumper provided but you can still faintly smell his cologne on your own clothes. Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad after all. Lost in your own thoughts, you don’t even notice that Saul has stopped by the entrance to the cafeteria.
“So, do you wanna walk in there together or should I wait here while you look for Farah?”, you shake your head and smile, motions to the doorway and heads inside, Saul following you a few steps behind. You spot your sister in the far corner, sitting down with Luna and Rose but Ben is nowhere to be seen. Heading for the line, both you and Saul grabs a tray each and you load yours up with fruit and a yogurt, not really a fan of breakfast. Grabbing a bottle of water, you walk over to were your sister is sitting with her friends.
“Hey, you feeling better this morning?” Rose is the first to speak, reaching out and patting your arm. You sit down next to Farah and gives her a smile.
“Yeah, no, I’m still confused and I still not entirely comfortable with this, but I’m doing better,” you mumble through a mouthful of yogurt and the girls nod.
“Well, the good thing is that we’ve checked out all the books we found about the topic so we can go over it later, if you still want to?,” Farah slings an arm around your shoulder and you relax into her side. You nod your consent and smiles at all of them.
“Sorry for just bolting past you girls last night, all you did was try to help and I appreciate that,” you sincerely apologise to them, genuinely sorry for behaving like you did. Luna reaches over for your hand and squeezes it lightly. Rose just smiles widely at you.
“Don’t worry about it Y/N, we understand that the situation wasn’t easy for you,” Farah tugs your hair, like she usually does and you swat her hand away, the gesture a comfort for the both of you. Luna coughs and sits up, quickly getting up and sitting down next to you and that’s when you notice the boys walking over with their trays. Rose rises an eyebrow at Luna’s actions and she waves a hand over the seating. You understand why she moved places, because now you’re sitting between her and Farah with Rose opposite her. Sitting like this, Ben shuffles in and sits next to his girlfriend while Saul claims the seat opposite Luna. Andreas sits down at the end of the table, between Luna and Saul.
“Hello girls, all good?”, Ben kisses Rose cheek and looks over at the rest of you. You nod while your sister and Luna says yes. Now that the boys are occupying the rest of table, you look down at your tray and focus on the fruit. Ben is chatting with Saul about something, Andreas and Luna discussing something concerning both their realms and you once again feel like you should be elsewhere.
“Hey Y/N, we’re going to check out the grounds, wanna go with us?”, it’s Cassia waving at you, slowly heading your way. You stand up, taking your tray with you.
“Sure, let me just dump my tray,” you shove it down the tray disposal and walks over to where Cassia is standing. You spare a quick glance in Sauls direction and he flashes you quick smile before anyone notice anything.
“Farah, should I stop by your suite later?”, your sister agrees and you wish them a good day, walking away with Cassia chattering in your ear. Nyx is waiting in the courtyard and the three of you head off past the gates.
—————————————————————————————————————————
Knocking on the door to your sisters suite, you wait. Rose is the one that opens and invites you inside, stepping over the threshold looking over the common area. Memories from the night before comes flooding back and you bite your lip.
“Have you eaten lunch?”, Farah looks up from the book she’s reading, reaching out with a hand towards you. Heading her way, you grab it and sit down, only just noticing that the table is covered with plates and some food.
“We figured we could eat while reading, since it’s technically lunch time,” she hands you a bottle of water and you accept it.
“So, like we said yesterday, there isn’t many books left on this subject and it’s hard to find any information. We’ve gotten what we can from the school library and I also found some books in the deep archives back home,” Luna is sitting in the armchair, balancing a plate on one knee and a book on the other.
“Oh, you mean from the Royal Library of Solaria? Luna, that’s really kind but you didn’t need to do that, I’m sure the books from here is good enough,” Farah swats your arm and Luna laughs. “It’s no problem Y/N, I don’t mind,” thanking her, you smile and reach for a sandwich. You look at the girls, waiting for them to start talking, seeing as they obviously know more than you for the moment.
“So, before we start explaining everything, I should tell you something Y/N,” Farah is eyeing you and for a moment, you get worried again. What now?
“Look, I know that this isn’t something you want to talk about, but you should know that I’ve told the girls about mother and father,” hearing your sisters words, you sit up straight, staring at her like she’s gone crazy.
“You’ve what? Why would you do that?”, this is a subject you’re not willing to discuss and you can’t for the life of you understand why Farah would either.
“Because they’re my closest friends Y/N and we’ve got no secrets. I just want you to know that they know,” neither Rose or Luna say anything, only offering small smiles. You stare down at your and Farahs joined hands. Taking a deep breathe, you turn towards her.
“I don’t really see why this is important right now,” she levels you with a glare, so much like your mothers that you have to look away. Grabbing your chin, she forces you to look at her again.
“Because I know that its probably one of the reasons you refuse to see that your bond with Saul is a good thing, and yes Y/N, I get why and I don’t blame you at all for it, but it also explains a lot. So I told the girls, mainly because they’re my friends and I trust them but also so they can understand why this is difficult,” feeling yourself tearing up, you cough and takes a sip of water. A part of you understand why Farah has done what she has but another part just wants to forget that it ever happened. She continues when you stay silent.
“I know that you don’t want to talk about this but I think that we might have to,” taking both of your hands into hers, she looks at you. You’ve spent the last few years trying to forget what happened when the two of you were younger and now she wants you to remember it all. Looking over at Luna and Rose, you take a breath. You don’t want to but you have a feeling Farah won’t let this go.
“Alright,”.

Blue Ocean - Chapter Four
AN: Long wait again, sorry but I've been super busy and tired all the time. Enjoy chapter four!
Pairing: Saul Silva x reader
Leaning against the wood, you take a deep breath. Your heart is still beating violently in your chest, an unknown hurt taking root in your stomach. Exhaling, you open your eyes to see Cassia and Nyx watching you, their expressions full of questions.
“Will you guys accept it if I just wanna go to bed and not talk about it,” you make your way towards your bed, but Cassia stops you with a hand on your elbow. Sighing, you sit down on the couch, crossing your legs underneath you.
“We got worried when we couldn’t find you after the mixer, so we tracked down your sister. No, she didn’t really say what happened, just that you’ve had a rough evening,” Nyx smiles gently at you and you can’t help but to smile back. Despite barely knowing the girls for more than a few hours, it warmed your heart that they cared.
“We get it if you don’t want to talk about it, but know that we’re here if you need us,” you give them a weak smile.
“I don’t really feel like talking about it, it that okay?”, they both nod and you head towards your shared bathroom for a quick shower. Climbing under the covers you ignore the incoming texts from Farah, turning off notifications and closing your eyes. Despite sleeping for the better part of the day, you drift off quickly.
Your sleep however is not peaceful and you spend the night tossing and turning, the ache in your chest never going away. Waking up, you look at the clock to see that it’s only 6AM, and it’s way too early to be awake. Shoving the blanket over your head, you try to go back to sleep. But a quiet knock on the door interrupts you. Grumbling, you get up only to find your sister standing on the other side. Trying to shut the door in her face, you fail when she grabs your arm and hauls you outside. Her grip is tight and you wince.
“That’s what you get for ignoring me last night. Mind telling me why Saul returned looking like someone killed his puppy?”, Farah stares at you and you blink, trying to wake up.
“I don’t understand why you would want this to be a good thing Farah, I don’t want a soulmate,” you hiss when she squeezes your arm tighter. Noticing your discomfort, she lets go but blocks you from running away from her.
“Do you know how many people would kill for a chance like this Y/N? To have someone perfect just for you, to have a person who will love you no matter what,” she deflates by the end of her rant, and then you notice the dark circles under her eyes. Looks like she slept no better than you.
“I want a choice Farah, is that so wrong?”, you sit down on the bench and after a few seconds, she sits down next to you. She grabs your hand and you relax, despite still feeling angry. Farah always had a way of calming you down, and you always felt safe with her. Maybe that’s why this was so hard, because she didn’t care for what you thought or felt.
“I understand that, and I get that you’re upset, but Y/N, please, give Saul a chance,” swallowing, you look at her, trying to understand why she’s pushing you.
“But why? Why are you pushing me like this?”, you shake your head, thoughts racing.
“Because I want you to be happy, and I know that if you give him the chance, you will be. I’v known Saul for three years now and he is one of the kindest guys I’ve ever met. Please Y/N, just talk to him if nothing else,” she’s pleading with you and you know that she won’t stop until you give in. So you do.
“Okay, I’ll talk to him, BUT, this does not mean that I accept any bond or whatever,” Farah is smiling then and you just close your eyes and shake your head. Damn you for not knowing how to say no to her.
“Thank you sweetheart, I promise you won’t regret it. Now, how about you meet me and the girls later today, so we can look at those books,” you agree, the thirst for knowledge overriding not wanting anything to do with this soulbond. She wraps you in a hug and you smile into her shoulder.
“So, can I go tell Saul that you’ll talk to him?”, you nod and she stands up, pulls on you hair and you smack her hand away. Watching her rounding the corner, you head back inside to get dressed. There’s no need to go back to sleep. You give a silent thanks that classes doesn’t start until next week and head into the kitchen to make some tea. Putting cheese on your toast, you hear the other girls stirring and take your breakfast with you into the common area. Sitting down, you fiddle with your phone, blowing away some steam from your mug.
“Wanna talk about last night now?”, Cassia throws herself unto the couch opposite you, still in her pyjamas. Shaking your head, you swallow the last of your toast.
“I don’t actually know what to say, it’s all very confusing and I still don’t know exactly what happened. But I promise to share when I understand everything myself,” she seems to accept your answer and wanders into the kitchen. Nyx is still buried beneath her blanket and you leave her be. Leaving your mug in the sink, you head towards the door for some fresh air. Opening the door, you once again run into Saul, who looks like he’s about to knock. Looking down, you don’t meet his eyes.
“Hi, um, Farah said that you maybe would like to talk? So I thought we might go for a walk down by the ponds, if you’re up for it. I promise I won’t touch you or anything,” he seems nervous and you can’t help but to feel sorry for him. The ache that has been bothering you all night and morning lessens, and it dawns on you that it isn’t you that’s feeling it, it is Saul.
“Yeah, I’d like that, and I apologise for last night. I didn’t mean, yeah, well, I didn’t mean to be so cruel,” you feel like you should apologise to him, because you remember the way the tears ran down his cheeks and you bite your lip, suddenly feeling guilty. But then he smiles at you, and the guilt disappears.
“I don’t blame you for acting the way you did, I’m just glad your willing to talk to me,” he’s being nicer than he has to be and you muster up a smile. His widens and he gestures towards the outside.
“Shall we?”, you nod and the two of you head outside. Keeping his promise, he walks with his hands in his pockets and there’s a space between you and him. No one says anything, you just walk down the path leading to where you assume the specialists train. The pond is still, and the morning air is crisp. Exhaling, you wrap your arms around you, wishing that you had taken a jacket with you.
“Are you cold? Here, have my jumper,” he’s already holding it out and you hesitate for a second. His face falls and the guilt returns. Reaching out, you take the jumper from him, sliding it over your arms. The jumper is still warm from when Saul was wearing it and you can smell his cologne on the collar. Whispering a quiet thanks, you continue to walk. Eventually you sit down on a training mat, looking out over the pond. Saul is still holding his distance and makes sure there’s some space separating you two. Silence fills the air, and you don’t know if you should say something. He breaks the silence before you can.
“So, I get that this isn’t ideal and I know you said that you don’t want anything to do with me, but I’m just asking for a chance,” he’s looking at his hands when you turn towards him and your heart aches in a weird way. Having spent the last 36 hours being angry and confused, you don’t really know what to feel. On one hand, you’re still upset, but when you look at him, right now in this moment, you want to say yes. You want to give him a chance.
“Everything about this confuses me. I don’t know what I feel, or what I want,” you don’t know what else to tell him.
“How about we take it really slow? I won’t push for anything, I’m just happy if you’re talking to me,” he lays his palm out flat, giving you the choice to either take his hand or not. It’s an open invitation and you close your eyes for a second. Your head is saying no, but your heart is saying yes. He’s been nothing but kind from the moment you met him. Opening your eyes, you look at him and slowly, you reach out and intertwines your fingers. The spark goes through you the moment you touch, neither of you say anything. Letting out a breath you didn’t know you were holding in, he does the same. A smile passes between the two of you and you never answer him. Holding his hand tells him all he need to know.

Prompt #1
AN: So, I have had this prompt forever and never gotten around to writing it. But now it's done. I did change some things because they fit easier with how I write. It got way longer than I intended and I'm still not super happy with the ending, but still, I hope you guys like it. Thank you @silvafox for the inspiration. Prompt: You've always hated your power to reveal people true opinions of each other, it got your parents divorced, after all. But after jokingly using the power at a work party while drunk, you realize your partner/spouse loathes you. But your worst enemy, an asshole coworker, loves you. Pairing: Saul Silva x reader
In general, being a mind fairy wasn’t the easiest. When you were younger, you had a hard time coping with your gifts. Your mother, being a mind fairy herself, tried her best to help you, but while she mainly focused on dreams, you strayed between the mind, dreams and thoughts. But it all paled in comparison when you discovered another part your gifts around your twelfth birthday. It was a normal morning, you and your parents eating breakfast together before the start of the day. Noticing a weird aura around them, you closed your eyes to delve deeper. You wish you never had.
What followed were the worst minutes of your life and from that moment on, you hated that part. You hated the fact the their divorce was your fault, because if you hadn’t delved deeper into their bond, they never would have revealed their true opinions of each other. You couldn’t stand to know that your parents loathed each other and the fact that they found out was your fault. Over the years you’ve tried to find other fairies with the same ability but so far you’ve come up short. There wasn’t much information in books either, so you could never put a name to ability. It didn’t matter, because after what happened to your parents, you vowed to never use it again. So you secluded the part deep within yourself and tried to live your life as best as you could.
You went to school, met your partner, who would later become your spouse and eventually got a job offer to teach at Alfea, a very prestigious school for fairies and specialists. You jumped at the chance when Headmistress Dowling contacted you with the offer and since your partner could work from anywhere, you packed up your things and moved to Alfea. The pain and guilt of what you’ve had done as a child was always there but you learned to live with it. You had told your partner of what had happened but asked them no never speak of it, and noticing what a discomfort the subject brought you, had dropped it.
Teaching at Alfea was everything you’ve ever dreamed of except for one thing. Or rather one person. Saul Silva. The headmaster of the specialist had made it his personal mission to make your days a living hell. He was always getting on your nerves, complaining about this or that, making comments under his breath when he thought you weren’t listening. If the two of you ever had to work together, you spent more time arguing than anything else. Farah quickly noticed and tried to keep the two of you apart as much as possible.
“Hey Y/N, wait up,” looking behind you, you notice Ben Harvey juggling several plants at the same time. Laughing, you offer to take some of them off his hands. He generously accepts and the two of you continue to stroll towards the greenhouses. Arriving there, the smile on your face disappears quickly, seeing Saul leaning against the wall with that cocky smirk of his.
“Ben, I need advice on a couple of things, do you have time?”, he follows the two of you inside. Wanting to get as far away from him as possible, you put down the plants on a bench and noticing Ben doesn’t need any help, you hurry away, pushing past Saul and closing the door behind you. You would never admit it out loud, but despite getting on your nerves most days and just in general being an asshole towards you, you couldn’t help but to notice the fact that Saul Silva was attractive. You hated yourself for even looking at him like that, but there was something that stirred a feeling deep in your gut every time you looked at him. You always shook those feelings away, reminding yourself that you were in a loving relationship, with a partner who loved you.
The thought of your partner halted your steps. How long had it been since the two of you slept in the same bed? Shared a kiss? Thinking back, you couldn’t remember. Lately you had been working late with Farah, planning a new lesson plan for next year, and more often than not, you had opted to stay in you overnight suite that you vacated at Alfea. And your partner was constantly working, traveling. But had it really been that long since the two of you saw each other. Checking your phone, you noticed that your last phone call was over 2 months ago. Arriving at your door, you went inside and sat down. Staring at the phone, your finger hovering over the call button. Despite the feeling telling you to not call them, you pressed down and held the phone to you ear. Several dials tones pass by before they pick up, sounding slightly out of breath. They almost sound surprised to hear from you and the feeling grows worse. Not wanting to argue you nicely ask them is they’re still coming to the annual Alfea Christmas party, hosted for the teachers each year. Agreeing to a time and date, you quickly hang up, neither of you uttering any words of love or comfort. Curling up under the covers, you close your eyes hoping that sleep will come soon.
Two weeks later
You were drunk. Or maybe tipsy. Either way, you had consumed far too much alcohol and decided to maybe switch to water for the rest of the night. Your partner was chatting up someone on the other side of the room, and even though there’s a lot of people around, you see them flirting. Somehow, it doesn’t bother you. It should bother you that the person promising you the future, forever and always, is flirting openly, but it don’t. When did this happen? When did you fall out of love with each other. Noticing you watching them, they make their way over to you. Sitting down, they take your hand, asking if everything is alright. Looking at them, you decide that no, everything is not alright.
And that’s when you notice it. The orange aura surrounding them, the same aura that once had surrounded your parents. Through the haze induced by the alcohol, you stare at them, unconsciously delving deeper into their mind. What you find should leave you in tears, but it doesn’t. The feeling of anger, loathe and tired is spreading throughout their body, and it is all directed at you. You let go of their hand.
“So, where you ever going to tell me?”, you stand, looking them in the eyes. You’re just tired now, and you want straight answers. You pull them to a quiet corner, out of prying eyes.
“Tell you what?”, they look confused for a moment, but you see the understanding slowly dawning in their eyes. Anger quickly surfaces and you don’t even have the strength to defend yourself.
“You said you never wanted to talk about this, and I never thought you would ever read me like that,” they’re upset and you understand. But you don’t care. Exhaling slowly through your nose, you take their hand.
“If you want out of this marriage, you should have told me,” they look down at your joined hands. Eyes meeting, you know this is the end. They take a few steps back, fiddling with their ring. Making the decision for them, you slid your ring off, handing it over. Sharing one last look, they turn on their heel, walking away.
“Hrm,” a quiet cough startles you and turning around, you see Saul watching you with a look you can’t quite understand. But it isn’t what catches your focus the most. It’s the warm red aura surrounding him, all while watching you. You choke on air and he steps towards you, a hand stretched out.
“Are you alright?”, gone is the usually cocky facade he sports around you, instead a genuine concern etched onto his face. You try to utter something but it gets caught in your throat. Spluttering you sit down, trying to make sense of what you’re seeing. You know what the red aura means, granted you haven’t seen it much, but you remember it surrounding both you and your partner, former partner, in the early days of your relationship. It doesn’t make sense. Saul hates you, of that you’re pretty sure. He’s always an asshole and he never gives you a break. He should not be surrounded by the warm red light around you. Not knowing what to feel, you do the only thing you can. You bolt.
“Y/N, wait up,” you can hear his footsteps behind you and you turn around so quickly the two of you almost collide.
“Why do you care Saul?”, you don’t intend for it to sound so harsh, but you’re tired and confused. A lot has happened in the span of a very short time tonight. You stare him down, waiting for an answer.
“Why do I care? I know I haven’t exactly been very nice towards you and Ben told me off a couple of weeks for it,” feeling even more confused you continue to look at him. A blush is rising on his cheeks and he’s claps his hands together, so far from the person you’re used to him being.
“I’m not good at this, and I know you have no reason to believe what I’m about to say,” he takes a step towards you and the look in his eyes have you standing still.
“Good at what?”, you cock your head, and then the red around him glows even brighter than before. He seems nervous all of a sudden and clears his throat.
“Talking about this, eh, talking about feelings,” you gape at him, feeling speechless.
“What feelings?”, you remember that he doesn’t know about your ability, so you ask the question, despite that fact that his aura says everything. He cares for you, no he loves you.
“I care about you. I know that I haven’t exactly shown it, but emotions isn’t my strong suit and when I felt this way about you, I panicked. You’re married and I didn’t want to ruin anything so I thought the best way was to act like an asshole,” he speaks clearly and you want to laugh out loud. This situation is more messed up than you would like it to be but the feeling you usually get around him stirs in your gut once again.
“My partner just left. I gave them my ring back,” holding up your hand, you show him the blank spot where your wedding ring used to be. Explaining that your marriage has been over for quite some time and this was only waiting to happen, you see him smile, and you can’t help but to smile back. Feeling that this conversation is far away from being over, but something tells you that it can wait. Taking a step forward, you grab his collar before he can react and rise on your toes to press your lips against his. The red swirls around the both of you and for once in your life, you don’t hate your ability.

Blue Ocean - Bonus Chapter / Sauls POV
AN: So, here is a look into Sauls head, first meeting reader. Hope you enjoy!
Pairing: Saul Silva x reader
Saul scanned the room for any of his friends when he felt something collide with this chest. Reacting on instinct, his hands shot up to grab a hold of the person in front of him. Looking down he is met with the most adorable eyes, staring up at him. Looking slightly winded from bumping into him, he chuckles and takes a step back, holding out his hand.
“I’m Saul Silva, nice to meet you,” he curses himself silently in his head, probably could have said something smarter than that. She’s staring at him, seeming loss for words. Sticking out his hand, he waits patiently for her to tell him her name. At last she grabs his hand and when she does, it’s like nothing he’s ever felt before. The spark that shoots through his body has him taking a step back, she doing the same. The girl lets go of his hand and a chill spreads through his body. She is saying something but he can’t hear her.
He knows what that spark means. By no means an academic like Farah, Rose or Luna, he has spent enough time with the girls during their endless study sessions. He was there when they discovered one of the old tomes on magic centuries ago. Both he and Ben was there when Farah found out about something called soul bonds and how they manifested. That spark he just felt, touching the girl in front of him, was exactly that. A soul bond. Feeling giddy at the thought, he’s on the verge of saying something when Farah interrupts.
Confused as the why Farah knows the girl in front of him, the smile on his face slips when she introduces her as her younger sister. Quickly reprimanding both him and Andreas before he even has a chance to defend himself. He notices Andreas puffing up but he pays no attention to their conversation. He only has eyes for the girl in front of him. Y/N. He can tell that she’s uncomfortable, the blush on her cheeks spreading and she curls in on herself, like she wants to disappear. Finally noticing Ben trying to hold Andreas back, he quickly steps between them to prevent a fight breaking out. Farah proposes getting drinks and is quick to drag Y/N with her. Shoving his friends away from each other, he turns to look after her but she’s already walking away.
“Hey man, come on,” Andreas is snapping his fingers in front of his face, trying to gain his attention. Scratching the back of his head, he shoves his hand away. Ben is laughing, leaning against the pillar looking at him with a face that he can’t really read.
“So, Y/N is pretty cute, right? I bet you that I have a chance there”, Andreas is wiggling his eyebrows at both him and Ben, smiling cockily. He’s is used to Andreas being this way, thinking that all girls want him and he’s used to getting what he wants. The jealousy startles Saul. He doesn’t even know Y/N yet, and despite what occurred earlier, he has no claim to her. He don’t know if Farah has told her sister about their discoveries during last year.
“Hey hey, did you miss Farahs entire lecture moments ago? No flirting with her sister,” Ben whacks Andreas over the head and gestures across the room where the girls are standing.
“Yeah I know but maybe Y/N is as into breaking the rules as I am,” that stupid smirk is back and Saul wants to swipe it off his face. He clears his throat and shoves Andreas for good measure. “How about we just listen to Farah and try to not get on her bad side,” he stuffs his hands into his pockets and eyes his friends. Andreas mumbles something under his breath while Ben just smiles.
“Whatever man, I’m getting out of here. You guys coming?”, Ben shakes his head and gestures towards the fairy hall.
“I wanna say goodnight to Rose first, but I’ll see you guys in the morning,” placing his empty cup on the table. Despite being a fairy himself, Ben was placed in the specialist hall during their first year, so the three of them shared a suite.
“I promised Farah I would give back some books I borrowed over summer, I’ll tag along,” he tells the lie easy, not wanting his friends to know that he just want to see Y/N again.
“Alright boys, later,” Andreas is already walking away, leaving him and Ben alone. Taking a deep breath, Saul feels himself relaxing slightly. He starts towards the fairy hall, Ben silently tracking alongside him.
“What’s on your mind?”, one of the kindest people he’s ever had the pleasure of meeting, Saul felt touched that Ben cared. He also knew that he could tell Ben what had happened moments before they interrupted him and Y/N. Walking at a slow pace, he calmly explains how you met and the spark that erupted when the two of you touched hands. During the conversation, Bens eyes grow wider and wider, but he still manages to answer when he’s done.
“So that’s why you couldn’t stop staring at her,” he teases and Saul ducks his head, feeling his cheeks grow hot.
“Well, obviously we need to check those books out again, but from what I remember it sounds very alike. Amazing really, if this is indeed what we’ve read, the two of you could have the first recorded bond in centuries,” Ben babbles on and on but Saul can’t concentrate. A surge of panic goes through his body and he feels his chest constrict. His throat clams up, breaths coming up short. Ben finally notices and gives him a weird look.
“Saul, what’s wrong? Hey man, calm down,” leaning against the wall, Saul tries to catch his breath. It takes him a few seconds before he realises that the panic he’s feeling isn’t his, but Y/N. Holding up a hand, he gestures towards where the girls suite is.
“Something’s not right, this isn’t me, it’s Y/N,” despite still being out of breath, he takes up a sprint towards the suite and shoves the door open without knocking. Taking one look at his friends faces, he looks at Y/N. He’s barely over the threshold when she collapses and now he’s the one panicking. Hurrying to her side, he doesn’t care if the girls know or not, taking Y/Ns hand, squeezing it tightly. She doesn’t stir and he looks to Farah for answers.
“We told her and yeah, this happened,” she places a hand on his arm to calm him.
“Help me carry her to my room,” he doesn’t need to be told twice, gently lifting the girl into his arms. Feeling her against him has his heart doing double jumps and he feels himself calming down. Placing her gently on Farahs bed, taking a seat next to her, never letting go of her hand.
“She’ll be fine, she’s just shocked. It will be alright when she wakes up,” Rose has joined them now and is placing a quilt over Y/N body. Looking down at the girl who has already captured his heart, he wishes that she would wake up right now so they could talk.
“Why don’t you join the others in the common area? I’ll stay with her,” turning towards his friend to protest, he quickly shuts his mouth at Farahs look.
“I know you want to stay but she’ll be confused when she wakes up and I fear that seeing you might not make it better at first. Let me talk to her and then you can come in, alright?”, as usual, Farah is right and he presses a quick kiss to Y/N knuckles. Leaving the room feels wrong but he does it anyway. Shutting the door behind he, he sits down on one of the sofas, closing his eyes. Now he can only wait for her to wake up.

Blue Ocean - Chapter Three
AN: Chapter three is here. Sorry for the wait but I caught the worst writers block and spent eons (felt like it) rewriting the same paragraphs over and over again. Still, I hope you enjoy!
Pairing: Saul Silva x reader
Waking up hurts. You blink several times trying to focus your surroundings. There’s a bright light coming from the window and dull ache is spreading through your body and you wet your lips, trying to swallow at the same time. The action causes you to cough and in the corner of your eye, something moves. A glass of water appears in front of your face, and you tip your head back, gulping down the water. You’re aware that someone takes the glass from your hand again, but you’re already falling back against the pillows, your eyes closing against their will.
“It’s okay Y/N, go back to sleep.” You can’t place the voice but a familiar touch smoothes back your hair and a hand grabs onto yours. Despite the water, your heads throbs violently and you sigh, letting your body relax.
The next time you open your eyes, it’s dark outside. Most of the pain is gone and you sit up slowly, looking around the room. You’re still in Farahs suite, on her bed from what you can see. She is seated at the end, reading. Gently nudging her with your foot, you let her know that you’re awake. Looking up from her book, she tosses it aside and is quick to stand up. Grabbing you in a hug, she squeezes you tightly and you squeeze back.
“How are you feeling sweetheart?”, she pulls back and looks you up and down. You can hear voices coming from the common area, quietly talking about something you can’t make out.
“I still got some headache but mostly I’m just tired,” she turns and grabs a water bottle from the beside table, handing you it silently. You don’t like the way she watches you, like you’re going to break any minute.
“So, what do you remember?”, you sigh, closing your eyes, navigating through your somewhat hazy memory. You remember the chamomile tea, soothing your nerves. You remember the three girls trying to calm you down, remembering the bang of the door hitting the wall. Slowly you remember the conversation happening moments before and you feel your heartbeat quickening.
“We were talking about soulmate.. wait, you were talking about Saul!”, you shove the blankets aside, trying to stand but Farah gently pushes you down again, telling you to calm down. You try to control your breathing, making your heart slow down. At the same time, you can hear movement from outside Farahs bedroom, raised voices. Perking up, you try to catch what is being said.
“Let go of me Ben, I need to go in there,” even though the voice is somewhat muffled you would know it anywhere. Saul. Just the thought of him brings you back to where your hands first touched. That spark. You remember wanting to feel it again, but right now it makes you sick to your stomach. Most people would probably jump at the chance of having a soulmate but all you can think of right now is that your choices are being taken from you, forced from you. You turn towards your sister, anger stirring in your gut. She takes one look at your face and with a flick of her wrist, the door to her rooms closes, lock hatching.
“I know that it’s a lot to take in, but remember that this is a good thing,” she’s reaching towards you, hand hovering, trying to placate you. But it doesn’t work.
“A good thing? Is that what you think this is? Farah, one of the most important choices we are given in life was just taken away from me,” you take a deep breath, trying to calm the anger threatening to take over. Looking her dead in the eye, you continue.
“You’re telling me that you’re okay with this? Me not having a say in who I’m supposed to fall in love with, not having a choice? Because it’s what this means right?”, it doesn’t occur to you that you’ve raised your voice, loud enough to probably be heard through the door. Farah is staring at you, seeming at a loss for words. You shake your head and it’s then you notice that it has gotten very quiet through the whole suite. Clenching your hands you shove your way past Farah, making your way towards the door. You need to get away from this situation, right now. Yanking the door open, you head towards the exit without sparing a glance at any of the other occupants in the room. You’re almost at the door when someone grabs your arm. You hiss, trying to break free from the grip but failing.
“Y/N, calm down please. Just sit down and we can discuss this. I’ve sent Rose and Luna to the library to get the books we need,” Farah is pleading with you, but you don’t want to hear it.
“No, let me go. I don’t want this and you of all people should understand that,” your voice is harsh and you can feel your control slipping. Farah lets go of you then and you don’t waste another minute, bolting from the room as quickly as you can. You vaguely hear someone swearing behind you and footsteps quickening to keep up with you. Almost running over Rose, rounding the corner, you mutter out a quick sorry. She opens her mouth to say something but you’re already heading away. The footsteps behind you are still there and you have a feeling who is chasing after you. Ducking behind a pillar, you know you’re not far away from your own suite where you can hide away. But luck isn’t on your side today it seems. A hand grabs onto yours and you skid to a halt.
“Y/N, just listen please,” Saul is pleading with you but you’re upset and you just want to be left alone. Turning on him with a cold stare has him straightening up, however not letting go of your hand. Ripping it away, you shove him back a few steps.
“Don’t touch me,” the venom in your voice makes him wince and for a moment you feel bad for hurting him. Holding up his hands, trying to show you that he won’t touch you again, he takes a step forward.
“I know that you’re confused and angry but please, just come back so we can talk about this,” his voice wavers, but right now you don’t care.
“I don’t want to talk. What is it that you don’t understand? Just leave me the hell alone,” you try to ignore the tears glistening in his eyes and turn on your heel. This time he doesn’t follow you. You pick up your pace, wanting to get back to your suite. Arriving at your door, you see Saul rooted in the same spot you left him in, tears silently running down his face and hands balled into fists at his side. Opening the door, you step inside. Swallowing, you slam the door shut, never once looking in his direction.

Note
love this new Saul fic. Even though Reader is Farah's sister, how does Farah feel about it all I wonder? Is Farah in this verse just a good friend to Saul or does she have feelings? interesting dynamic.
Thank you!
Farah and Saul are best friends in this fic. I know that a lot of people like the two of them together but I wanted to do something different! I think they have good chemistry but I just see them as two very close friends :)

Blue Ocean - Chapter Two
AN: Chapter two is here, it got quite long, but I hope you enjoy it!
Pairing: Saul Silva x reader
You’re standing there, staring at him. His smile reaches his eyes, lifting one eyebrow. Shaking your head, you clear your throat and takes his hand. The spark that goes through your body when your hands wrap around each other has both of you taking a step back. You look down at your joined hands and up towards his face again. The smile has been wiped off his face and his brows are furrowed, looking deep in thought.
”Eh, well, I’m sorry for staring, it’s just that you caught me off guard,” you let go of his hand and immediately a chill forms in your gut. His face says it all, he’s also feeling whatever this is. You both stand there awkwardly, waiting for the other to say something. Now it’s him that seems at a loss for words.
”Y/N, hey, there you are! I’ve been looking for you,” Farah interrupts the moment and you turn around to see her and the rest of her friends standing behind you. A blonde boy you haven’t seen before is with them and you guess that it is Andreas, seeing as Saul is standing in front of you.
”Oh, great, you’ve met Saul,” she comes up to your side and nudges you in the side. Sauls eyes is quickly moving between you and Farah and you can see the cogs turning in his head. You roll your shoulders and look down at the ground again. By now, the rest of the group has joined you, forming a half circle in the corner of the room.
”So, um wait, you’re Y/N? Farah's sister?”, Saul directs his question at Farah and she smiles widely and wraps her arm around your shoulders. ”Yes Saul, this is my sister. My little sister, let that be a reminder to you both,” she says, looking both Saul and Andreas in the eyes. Saul smiles again but this time, it doesn’t reach his eyes like it did before. Andreas straightens up from the wall he’s leaning against and crosses his arms over his broad chest.
”What’s that suppose too mean?”, he says and levels Farah with glare. Ben sighs and pushes Andreas back slightly, as if preventing him from saying something else.
”What she means is that you flirt with just about anyone and everything, and I think that she would like it if you didn’t flirt with her sister,” Rose laughs and shares a smile with Luna who rolls her eyes at the scene in front of her. You, on the other hand, can feel the blush creeping up your cheeks and you shrug Farah’s arm of off you. She barely notices seeing as she’s busy giving Andreas a lecture on manners. He protests Ben’s and Farah’s words, Rose and Luna quickly agreeing with your sister. Andreas scowls at them and mutters something under his breath.
But you only have eyes for Saul. He’s looking at you again and you suddenly want to feel whatever it was that you felt when you touched his hand for the first time. The look in his eyes tells you the same thing but once again, Farah interrupts you.
”Alright, now that this discussion is over, how about we get something to drink?”, Saul is quick to break eye contact, moving to stand between Andreas and Ben. A wise choice seeing as the boys are moments away from starting a slap fight. You notice that Rose and Luna has left the group, already heading towards the refreshment table on the other side of the room. Farah turns to you and repeats her question and you nod, unable to say anything. Directing a punch towards Andreas arm, she pulls you past the boys and you trail after, silently. You turn around once more, looking in Sauls direction but he’s still busy shoving the other two boys.
”What was that over there?”, Rose’s question startles you out of your thoughts. You smile at her and cock you head. ”What do you mean?”, you curiously asks. Luna lets out a short laugh and your sister do the same.
”What she means, what we all mean, is what did we interrupt?”, Luna gives you a vague gesture towards the other side of the room. You feel the blush returning to your cheeks and you curse your inability to control your emotions at the moment. Farah crosses her arms over her chest, looking at you with something you can’t exactly pinpoint.
”You didn’t interrupt anything, I just happened to collide with him and he saved me from cracking my head open on the stone floor,” you answer a little too quickly. Too bad your sister knows you better than anyone. She snorts and you hunch up your shoulders.
”That was the worst lie you’ve ever told me Y/N. Alright, I might buy that that’s what happened but both yours and Sauls feelings were all over the place when we got there,” she looks at you, giving you the same look that your mother often used when she wanted to wring the truth out of either of you when you were younger. You sigh, knowing that you can’t lie to your own sister. The only problem is that you didn’t really know what happened, and that’s what you tell the three girls currently cornering you.
”I don’t know. We shook hands, and the moment our hands touched, there was this spark. I’ve never experienced it before. And when I let go of his hand, I felt a chill in my gut,” you’re looking at the ground, not meeting their eyes. However, you quickly look up when Rose chokes on her drink and Luna draws in a deep breath. You look at your sister for an explanation, taking in her appearance. Her arms has dropped to her sides and she gaping at you. The uncomfortable feeling from before returns and you shuffle your feet, waiting for them to say anything.
”Did you just say spark? Like, electricity going trough you when you touched Saul?”, Rose is the first to break out of whatever trance they’re in and grabs your upper arm. You swallow and take a deep breath, not understanding the urgency in her words.
”Yes. At first, I thought it might be my magic, seeing as I’m an air fairy, but it has never happened before and I’ve got good control. I mean, I can toss around some electricity but not like that,” you don’t understand anything, but you answer Rose as honestly as possible. Luna rubs her temple and turns towards your sister.
”You haven’t talked to her about this?”, she gives Farah a look that says more than the words she just uttered. Luna’s question brings her out of her stupor.
”Of course not, I didn’t think it would be necessary seeing as it’s something not many people know about nowadays,” she is suddenly angry and you’re getting more and more confused by the second. You grow more uncomfortable, not used to seeing her angry. Rose notices and takes your hand.
”Girls, maybe we should go somewhere quiet, and talk about this? Here is hardly the place,” she gently shoves you in the directions of the dorms, trusting that Farah and Luna will follow. You walk along quietly, thoughts spinning and a chill growing colder and colder with every step. Farah picks up on your emotions and despite the burst of anger displayed minutes earlier, she grabs your hand and squeezes it tight. You managed to squeeze back, noticing that you’re heading towards their suite, and not your own. Opening the door, Luna gestures for you to step inside. Farah steers you towards the common area and Rose slips into what seems to be a small kitchen. Boiling water can soon be heard and you assume she’s making tea.
”Alright, what the hell is happening? Why do you all act like I’ve done something wrong?”, your voice shakes just a little bit but you managed to keep the tears a bay. You and Farah rarely got angry with each other, too close connected to fight with one another. Seeing her react that way and what seemed to be directed at whatever situation you’ve caused, shakes you and there’s nothing you’d rather do than run back to your own room. But she keeps a firm grip on your hand, and Luna lounges by the couch situated before the door. Trying to leave would be useless.
”Hey, calm down. I’m sorry I reacted the way I did, it’s just that I didn’t expect to have to deal with this, it's all kind of new for us too,” Farah smooths your hair out and rubs your back while Luna rolls her eyes. You feel yourself calming down and you fall back against the couch, exhaling deeply. The other side of you dips, Rose settling down to your right.
”Here, drink this, it’s chamomile tea,” she hands you a steaming cup and you blow on the surface gently before taking a sip.
”So, who would like the honour? I think it should be you Farah but Rose probably knows more about it,” Luna is eyeing your sister again and Farah sighs. Sitting up straight, she turns slightly so she can look you in the eyes. She opens her mouth to start speaking, but closes it quickly again. She takes a deep breath and cracks her knuckles.
”God, mother would have been so much better than this. The first thing you need to know Y/N, is that you’ve done nothing wrong, alright?”, you nod and gestures for her to continue. ”From what I’ve read, this happens rarely nowadays and there isn’t much to read about it. But centuries ago, when our magic was different from the one we wield today, there was something the books refer to as soul bonds,” your brow furrows and you open your mouth to question her, but she holds up a hand, silencing you.
”Let me explain first, then you can ask your questions. Now, there isn’t much written on the subject, at least not in the library books but from what I’ve gathered, soul bonds is something akin to having a soulmate,” you choke on your tea and Rose pats your back. You stare at your sister, not really understanding what this has to do with you. Sensing your panic, Farah sends a calming wave of warmth, making you relax once again.
”It’s said that when two people meet and their hands first touch, a spark feeling like electricity runs through your body,” you continue to stare into empty space, remembering the feeling when you touched Sauls hand. Like electricity.
”Are you seriously telling me that that is what just happened? That he, Saul, is my soulmate?”, you stand up suddenly, your empty tea cup falling to the floor. Farah is quick to stand too, grabbing you arms to keep you from running away.
”Calm down Y/N, it’s not a bad thing. It’s odd, seeing as it hasn’t been a recorded case for centuries but not bad. Breathe sweetheart, breathe,” you gasp for air, feeling your lungs constrict and your heart beating faster. Black spots dances across your vision and you can hear all three girls trying to calm you down but they’re too far away. The last thing you see is the door bursting open and tall dark haired silhouette shoving his way past the wood. The person reaches out for you but your legs give out and you’re out cold before he makes it past the threshold.

Blue Ocean - Chapter One
AN: Alright, so here is the first chapter of my Saul Silva x reader fic. Hope you will enjoy it!
Pairing: Saul Silva x reader
”Stop fidgeting, you look fine,” Farah is eyeing you up and down, smiling. You stick your tongue out and flip your hair over your shoulder. Her smiles widens and she tugs on your hair making you yelp, swatting her hand away whilst trying to avoid falling down. You loved her to bits but she was excellent at driving you crazy.
”I’m not worried about my looks Farah, I’m just a bit nervous,” you say while looking around for your backpack. Spotting it next to your suitcase, you exhale and sit down. She takes a seat next to you and grabs your hand.
”Y/N, I promise, it will be alright. You already have good control of your powers and not to mention, you’re my sister,” she says the last bit with a laugh and you can’t help but to join her. Starting Alfea is a daunting thought, but knowing that your sister is going to be there right beside you makes everything a little bit easier. Still, you can’t help the feeling that something will go wrong. What if you don’t make friends? What if you don’t get along with your suit-mates? Sensing your worry, Farah grabs a hold of your hand.
”Hey, look at me. What did I just say? Everything will be fine and if anyone bothers you, I will just sic Saul and Andreas on them,” she never breaks eye contact and you feel yourself calming down. Starting her third year at Alfea, Farah already have a close knit group of friends. You remember her coming home after her first year, already having made good friends with her two roommates, an earth fairy called Rose and, to your big surprise, Princess Luna, the future queen of Solaria. She was quick to tell you that the princess was a kind and charming girl, nothing of what you would suspect a future monarch to be. Along with the two girls, she had also made good friends with a boy named Ben, whom you had met once when he and Rose stopped by your house during summer break. He was also an earth fairy, and you thought he and Rose made a beautiful couple. Last was the two specialists, Saul and Andreas. The six of them seemed to do everything together and you could tell that your sister truly had found friends for life.
”You know, I don’t mind you being quiet but it would be nice not the spend the entire journey in silence,” Farah nudges you and motions at your bags. Standing up, you slowly grab your backpack and suitcase. Looking around the house, you crack a smile.
”Let’s go, I’m ready, and just because you said that, I will talk the entire way there,” she laughs and grabs your hand again, pulling you towards the door. Following her out, you open the boot of the car, shoving your bags inside. Grabbing hers as well, she gets behind the wheel while you slam the boot shut. Settling in the passenger seat you turn towards her.
”So, I’ve already made a playlist and I will sing along to every song. Now that you’ve been warned, you can’t complain,” Farah rolls her eyes and starts the engine. Leaning back and fiddling with your phone, you think that maybe everything will turn out alright anyway.
Arriving at Alfea, you can’t help but to stare at the enormous building. The architecture is beautiful and you wish you could print this moment. You’re finally here, at the most prestigious school in the Otherworld, something that you’ve looked forward to since Farah first started. Forgetting why you where even nervous in the first place, you bound out of the car and open the boot to grab your things.
”Easy there, one might think you're about to wet yourself,” Farah closes the boot and looks around the courtyard. She spreads her arms out wide and turns to you.
”Welcome to Alfea. I hope you will love it just as much as I do,” you nod your head eagerly, too excited to say anything. Instead you reach for her hand and she smiles, taking it. You open your mouth to ask where you will be going but an excited squeal interrupts you.
”Farah, you’re finally here! We’ve been waiting forever, forever haven’t we Luna?” Rose is skipping across the yard with Luna following behind at a more sedate pace. Farah lets go of your hand in favour of embracing first Rose and then Luna. The three start chatting excitedly and you look around awkwardly. You can tell that Farah takes notice of your emotions quite quick because she turns towards you and gestures at the two other girls.
”Alright, so this is Y/N, my sister. She starting first year,” Rose is quick to embrace you too, and you gently hug her back. ”Yes, omg, it’s nice to see you again! Are you excited, I bet you’re excited,” talking five miles per hour, Rose babbles on and you barely have the chance to answer. Luna smiles at you and offers her hand.
”I’m Luna, it’s nice to finally meet you and put a face to your name. Farah here spends quite some time talking about you,” you smile and take her hand. ”Likewise and I could say the same about you Your Highness,” at the use of her title, she rolls her eyes and takes a step back.
”Don’t bother with the title dear, you can call me Luna,” you nod and turn towards Farah again, just in time to see that Ben has joined your group and has wrapped his arms around his very excited girlfriend. Farah is busy laughing at how Rose keeps bouncing up and down at the spot and Ben looks over at you. ”Y/N, hey, it’s good to see you again. Did you have a nice summer?”, nodding, you start up a conversation with him all while walking towards the fairy dorms. Rose continue to blabber on with Farah and Luna answering her. You and Ben follows a few steps behind, talking about a hike that you dragged Farah out of the house for. He laughs when you mention an incident involving mud and Farah turns around to protest.
”Hey, did any of you guys see Saul and Andreas? I haven’t seen them,” stopping outside what looks to be your suite, you place down your bags against the wall. Ben checks his phone and shakes his head.
”No, I talked to Saul before I left home, but I haven’t heard from him since then,” Rose leans against him and Luna takes a seat on the bench along the wall. Farah joins her with you opting for leaning against the doorway.
”Knowing them, they’re already down by the training area,” Luna rolls her eyes and shoves at your sister. You feel like you’re missing out on some joke, which you probably are. It reminds you that this is Farahs friends and that you don’t actually know them at all. Clearing your throat, you pull of off from the wall.
”Well, it was nice to meet all of you, but I should probably get inside and get settled,” you smile and pick up your bags again. They all say goodbye, heading away towards their own suites but your sister stays behind. You turn and walk inside the room, Farah following you quietly.
”I can unpack by myself, go join your friends,” she snorts and sits down at your bed. You sigh and after a moment you join her, leaning into her side. She grabs your hand and smooths your hair out with the other.
”They will survive a few more minutes without me, I want to make sure you’re okay and all,” you smile and shove her gently.
”Thank you, but I’m fine. I’ll see you at the mixer right?”, she stands and you stay seated. You can hear voices coming from the doorway and you assume that it’s your new suite-mates. Farah nods and bends down to give you a quick hug. Greeting the two girls in the doorway, she gives you a thumbs up and disappears around the corner. Standing, you head towards the open space in the middle of the suite to introduce yourself.
”Hi, my name is Y/N and I’m an air fairy. I’m assuming you’re my roommates?”, you hold out your hand and the black haired girl is first to grab it.
”Hi, I’m Cassia and I’m a water fairy. It’s nice to meet you,” she shakes your hand and smiles gently. You already like her. The other one, a tall girl with gorgeous blond locks introduces herself as Nyx and tells you that she is a mind fairy. The three of you start to unpack your belongings while asking each other questions and getting to know each other. Both girls are in slight awe when you mention that Farah is your older sister and it makes you wonder just how popular she is. Time flies and before you know it, you’re heading down to the mixer. Saying goodbye to your new friends, you look around for you sister, or any of her friends. Seeing none of them, you decide to wander, hoping that she will find you instead. You barely make two steps before you collide with something. Or rather someone.
”Woah, hey, easy there,” strong hands grab onto your arms holding you steady. Looking up, you’re met with the most beautiful eyes you’ve ever seen. Piercing ocean blue eyes stares down at you and frankly, you’re at a loss for words. He chuckles and offers you his hand.
”I’m Saul Silva, it’s nice to meet you.”

Time
Move on. It's such a simple phrase to say but it's nowhere as easy to accomplish. You don't want to move on because it would mean forgetting and it's the last thing you want to happen. Moving on means going forward and never looking back but how can you when you're constantly looking over your shoulder? There is no manual, no script to tell you what to do, nothing to help you deal with the pain. Most days are empty, broken bottles scattered around the flat, on the floor and a pile of unread post by the door.
Time will heal your wounds. They all say the same thing. That you need time and with that time, things will get better. It doesn't. Time does nothing other than remind you that you're alone now. You try to tell yourself that you're fine, willing yourself to believe the lie even just for a moment. If you believe it enough, maybe it will eventually become reality. If you give yourself the time needed you could live the lie and things might get brighter. You try to believe that time might be the answer.
Nothing helps. The bottles do nothing, the pills doesn't work and the quiet that used to bring you peace is nothing but a painful reminder. You used to love the quiet, comfortable, easy and peaceful, but now the quiet is loud, angry and overwhelming. You try to sleep, hoping it would bring some peace but the nightmares are vivid and colourful, burning and painful. In the end you don't know what is worse, being awake or being asleep. The hollow feeling in your chest never goes away, feeling like something is missing. You never get that feeling of peace ever again but eventually you learn to handle it. You learn how to sleep through the nightmares, how to eat when there is no appetite and how to smile even though you feel like dying. You somehow learn to live again, if not for yourself then for the people still around you.
