It's Achi thinking his body is tofu.

It's him believing he is ugly.

It's him wanting to hide so he doesn't have to be in the same vicinity as perfect-body Karan because he feels disgusting.

Only for him to accidentally bump into Karan while trying to leave and realizing that Mr. Perfect Body cannot open his eyes because he will stare lustfully at Achi.

It's hearing that Karan has to meditate next to his naked body, so he doesn't look at Achi disrespectfully.

Karan is not cool-as-a-cucumber here but instead trying to chill the fuck out, so he doesn't act on his impulses.

This one minute scene isn't just about how Achi sees himself but how he believes others see him. Karan has only been a kind and sweet man to Achi and all his coworkers even before Achi could hear his thoughts, yet Achi still expects Karan to be appalled by him. Because Achi has low self-esteem, he, unintentionally, makes Karan the bad guy.

People hate hearing "If you can't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?" because, much like Achi, knowing you are loved helps people love themselves, but the saying rings true since not loving yourself makes you think the worst of others.

The scene isn't about Karan internally freaking the fuck out every second he is near Achi, but about Achi learning his mere presence is capable of eliciting such a response.

Because Achi has to learn to love himself first.

Hello, hello, hello! Here I am once again for our weekly check-in time! This week, it's especially important that I remind all of you to vote if you haven't already because I'm not only reminding you to vote in our Winners Bracket QuarterFinals Round but also in the newly added Losers Bracket Eighth-Finals Round!

This week I've had the pleasure to hear a lot more about what you all think of all the shows in the tournament and it has been an absolute blast! More than one person has been telling me the voting is getting oh so so so hard as more of the choices get left behind and all I have to say is: DUH! Not to be a smart-ass but we all knew this was gonna get tougher every week but I'm sure we can get to the end of this tournament together if we endure in our collective hater power!

I know I say this every week but I want to once again thank you all for your lovely words, your passionate opinions, and your hilarious tags! I've been reading all of them in my free time, on my commute, and they're so sweetly filling every minute of my days!

There might only be a little less than a couple of days left but don't let it crush your hopes that your most be-hated show could still win even if it's currently losing.

Well, that sure hit the spot to start us off, didn't it!? Congratulations to the winners of the Qualifiers Round, or maybe condolences?

Either way, this marks the end of our first week of voting. Reading your tags and all of your opinions has truly made this week for me, I can't wait to see things heat up even more when the voting gets tougher!

Before we continue, I feel it necessary to remind everyone that the reason all these shows have been included is not that they're bad, nor do I think they are (okay, I think some of them are but that's beyond the point), it's simply because they're GMMTV productions and this whole tournament is about that. On the other hand, the reason Water Boyy, My Gear and Your Gown, and My Tee have not been included is that they are not beloved enough and I didn't want to make it too easy. It's not fun if you can already tell who's gonna win from day one, is it? Nevertheless, if you'd still like the world to know that you don't like them and that you have very valid reasons for doing so, I strongly encourage you to leave an ask and I'll make sure to publish it for the whole world to see!

I would also like to extend a specific thank you to @gmmtv-bl-tournament for being such a good sport and helping get this Tournament seen. I truly appreciate it, your Tournament has been so interesting to witness and at times heartbreaking! 😂 All in good fun, of course.

And now back to the tournament! I assure you all the voting so far was easy, it's only gonna get more difficult to choose from here on and we're now onto the second week, the Eighth-Finals Round for the Winners Bracket.
